Hello.
I
hope
you
are
considering
a
stay
at
Casa
de
Monte
Vista
in
Palm
Springs.
We
happened
across
this
property
while
looking
for
an
accommodation
in
Palm
Springs
that
would
be
unique
and
comfortable
for
two
adults.
We
are
so
happy
we
were
able
to
stay
here.
Casa
de
Monte
Vista
is
not
a
chain
or
corporate
property.
It
is
a
privately
owned
property
located
coveniently
in
a
beautiful
historic
Palm
Springs
neighborhood.
The
neighborhood
also
has
numerous
examples
of
the
Mid
Century
architecture
that
Palm
Springs
is
noted
for.
In
fact,
homes
belonging
to
many
of
yesteryear's
stars
are
in
the
area.
The
grounds
of
Casa
de
Monte
Vista
are
absolutely
impeccably
maintained.
The
gardening
and
landscaping
are
lush
and
tropical
despite
the
desert
surroundings.
The
gardens
even
hide
some
private
seating
areas
you
can
escape
to
for
reading,
meditation,
or
if
you
would
just
like
a
little
privacy.
The
rooms
themselves
are
integrated
into
a
lovely
spanish
style
estate.
Each
room
had
the
vibe
of
a
separate
casita
despite
being
attached
to
the
home.
The
estate
layout
with
the
open
air
walkways,
outdoor
patios,
red
tile
roof,
bell
gables,
and
exposed
lumber
convey
a
sense
of
history
to
your
stay.
Our
host
Joe
was
very
kind
and
welcomed
us
with
a
tour
of
the
property
and
some
background
on
the
home
and
surrounding
area.
Joe
provided
us
with
excellent
recommendations
and
advice
about
the
Palm
Springs
area.
We
love
to
walk
and
found
the
location
of
the
property
within
reasonable
walking
distance
to
many
excellent
restaurants,
bars
and
the
Palm
Springs
Art
Museum.
We
visited
during
spring
when
temperatures
were
warm
during
the
day
and
cool
but
comfortable
at
night.
Walking
was
very
comfortable.
The
room
we
stayed
in
was
nicely
appointed
and
comfortable.
The
mattress
was
supportive
and
bedding
fresh
and
soft.
We
had
plenty
of
space
for
our
luggage
and
we
were
able
to
spread
out
and
enjoy
the
space.
Each
room
is
thoughtfully
decorated.
Our
room
had
a
lovely
double
french
door
that
opened
to
views
of
the
pool
and
grounds
but
also
felt
private.
As
if
it
weren't
enough
Casa
de
Monte
Vista
also
has
a
very
nice
pool
area,
which
in
my
opinion
is
an
absolute
must
for
a
Plam
Springs
visit.
The
salt
water
pool
and
deck
is
designed
for
relaxation.
Comfortable
pool
furniture,
umbrellas,
and
towels
were
provided.
The
pool
deck
has
great
sun
exposure
during
the
day
and
excellent
views
of
the
mountains
behind
the
property.
We
relaxed
at
the
pool
daily
and
marveled
at
the
views
of
the
surrounding
mountains,
the
estate
architecture,
and
the
gardens
on
the
grounds.
It
was
very
relaxing.
I
can
not
emphasize
how
enjoyable
our
stay
at
Monte
Vista
was.
I
feel
it
was
an
excellent
and
unexpected
value.
We
had
considered
a
stay
at
one
of
the
major
resorts
in
Palm
Desert
or
one
of
the
hip
hotels
along
Palm
Canyon
dr
in
Palm
Springs.
We
are
so
pleased
we
ultimately
chose
Monte
Vista.
I
joked
with
our
host
upon
our
departure
that
we
are
ruined,
as
it
will
be
hard
to
replicate
the
comfort
and
beauty
of
this
stay.
We
look
forward
to
returning.
