5 STARS to the nice lady who helped me find a pleated skirt. I was in RI today (10/04/2019) between 11.30 and 12.00 looking for a pleated skirt. I tried on two skirts that the nice lady found out for me. Coming out of the changing room, the other lady in charge of the fitting room asked me to put the two skirts on the rail (as I wasn't going to take them) while she was just standing there!! I very much doubt that lady would ask all the customers to do her job (i.e. asking them to hang the clothes they've tried on the rail themselves). Of course, I would hang them on the rail myself if they were short of staff.. Unless that's the new culture in the retailing business now .. If it's not the case, RI, make sure your staff has customer services skills and is comfortable serving people from all walks of life. Thanks!

Bright store well stocked and friendly staff

I have never had a problem with this shop until last week. I chose the item I was going to buy and then went to find the girl and asked her if I could pay. She was extremely rude and looked disgusted that I asked her if I could pay. Then when I paid she never said thanks and just shoved the bag at me. She needs to get her act together!!!!

Not a great range of stock today. Disappointing. Staff of ourselves very friendly as always and shop is spotless a d well laid out.

Ugly expensive clothes but the shop is immaculate and staff professional.

Went in for a few pairs of jeans only to be told not allowed try them on. Must be making loads if they’re able to turn down sales like that

Incredibly when I asked for a size of jacket L they told I had to pay to get it delivered to the shop. My last time in River Island.

Very nice store plenty of variety in the clothes and accessories there. Great shop!

Fitting room not available even after 22nd of October

Very disappointed with my trip to your store yesterday, 15th September. There was a que at the till point and only one person serving. She was dealing with a query from a customer. I waited 15 minutes and no one moved in the que. There was several staff on the shop floor but no one thought to open a second till. Other customers left the que and their would be purchases behind. I asked a member of staff why they could not open a second till but she said that was not possible. I felt that this was very bad customer service as several staff members were visibly present and could have assisted.

Excellent shop my partner bought half the shop . She was very happy leaving.

Went in just before Christmas to purchase a handbag and purse but the selection was very poor, came away feeling disappointed as I was sure I would get something I liked but just not a good selection or choice of either bags or purses,seen some I liked on line but I want to purchase from store to check out the items..
