The guy when we checked in was awesome and courteous. Unfortunately we didn't see him the rest of the stay. We seen cockroaches our 3rd night there and when we told them they asked if we want to be moved or if we wanted it sprayed we were in a rush for an appointment and went with the spray. But they were all over the place after that was so miserable. Kind of ruined the last night there for sure. But before that it was an okay stay. Also a kitty in the parking lot

It was clean, updated, employees where really nice and helpful! I would stay here again, the next time I'm in Miami. I felt safe and everything you need is in walking distance. They have a security guard at night and he was great. No funky smells in the room and no bugs were seen. I was there for a week helping my sister recover from surgery.

Lucy checked us in, she was polite, professional and extremely accommodating. I forgot to specify that due to health limitations I can’t do stairs. In fact that is the reason I was in Miami, was for a procedure. She was extremely helpful getting us a room on the first floor.. Clean comfortable room, Adorable patio/pool area, continental breakfast was basic but quite decent. The attendant made sure everything was going smoothly. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of pillows, a definite plus for me. I would definitely stay here again!

Good place. Very well maintained, the room was nice. The pool was good, just a lot of kids. Breakfast was basic, but you have to check the ceviche restaurant in the hotel (not included with the room rate). The location was good for what I needed. A lot of stores in a walking distance.

Very worst motel for staying. DO NOT STAY HERE.i felt like I did my own house keeping. They do not provide room service, you have to go get your own towel everyday.once you stay there you responsible for your room cleaning. No hospitality. No friendly staff. Rude staff.i felt like I should've brought mine own towel and bed sheets. I rather stay in another reputable motel.

I arrived at night by myself and the Hotel receptionist gave me a room on the second floor - no elevator. She said there were no rooms availability on the first floor. There was no luggage cart or anyone to help roll my two suitcases and carry-on bags across the parking lot and up the second floor stairs. I had to make two trips to bring everything into my room. Also, the room telephone was disconnected and the hotel phone number was not listed anywhere for me to call the reception using my cell phone. I had to walk back to the reception to inform about the disconnected phone. The receptionist said there was nothing she could do. Also, I could not turn the shower in the bathroom on - the faucet was stuck and would not turn on. Also, the TV was set to Spanish so all channels (in addition to the Spanish channels) had the audio set to Spanish. The staff was unhelpful and unwilling to offer any solution to any problems. Worst hotel experience I ever had! Would not recommend it to anyone!

I have lived less than a mile from this place over 20 years and it has improved 100% compared to then. Pool area with semi heated pool is great đź‘Ť clean rooms.

My experience at this inn was amazing! The staff is super welcoming and hard working, the location could not be better and the rooms were nice, cozy and clean! During my stay I was able to find many things to do that were either walking distance or a 5 - 10 minute ride! I only noticed two major flaws: 1) The free breakfast was rather weak, as it didnt offer too much variety besides cheap, sugar filled options and 2) The security was a bit lacking, as the only form of security at night was some security cameras and one measly guard. There were some shady people around at night which wouldnt bother me if it was more secured. Besides these two flaws, 4/5 stars! I will be returning to this inn if need be đź‘Ť

Simple breakfast. Pool was clean. We were well received. The room was unfortunately damped and smelled a bit when we arrived. The reception was really the highlight.

The hotel was good for the price. The location was close to a lot of stores and restaurants. I'll say that the best part was the pool and sun deck, they were quite nice. The rooms were very well maintained and clean, but the exterior needs a little work. I would suggest this hotel if you're traveling solo or just passing through.

The location is great and very convenient. The Publix grocery is right next door and it's in an ideal location in the south of Miami. Breakfast was very basic and mediocre but that was not very important to me. However, there were cockroaches in the room. The room wasn't absolutely disgusting but knowing there were cockroaches, I wouldn't call the room clean. My stay was still pleasant. If you're looking for a cheap and decent motel in the Kendall/Palmetto Bay area, this is a great place to stay in.

The location was great and convenient for what we came to Miami for. Shops/restaurants and the grocery right there within walking distance. The pool was really nice and clean. Breakfast was basic and didn't change from day to day but was good. My only complaint was that the floor in the room turned my feet black when I walked barefoot so I wore my flipflops the whole time.

I guess tonight was an unlucky night for me and my family with the miserable lady in the lobby. Came to this “hotel” to stay ONE night with my family (me, my wife, and 2 kids) and only had 4 towels in the room so (2 smalls and 2 bigs). So, I needed a couple extra or at least 1 big and I went to the lobby to ask for it (a normal thing to do in any hotel I’ve been to) and the fatty woman at the front tells me because I'm only staying ONE night she cannot give me more towels, lmao I gotta laugh. Even though I told her about my kids and my wife, she was like that's enough for one night. Maybe the towels are hers or she cleans them idk. The room was clean and I had a warm welcome when I checked in but Mrs piggy at the front at this time is unprofessional or maybe she is racist cause I'm Hispanic and she is white, but who knows.

What a pleasant surprise! We took a chance after driving by and noticing a lot of people visible by the window seating. It was hands down the best Peruvian cuisine I've had in Miami. I was not expecting that in a Quality Inn restaurant. I quite frankly was bracing myself for disappointment. On tge contrary my wife and I left completely satisfied and plan to be back with friends. Whoever the cook is tgey are phenomenal. Hope they keep it up.

We had our home tented and chose to stay at the quality inn because it was closest to work and home. What a mistake! I feel bad leaving this review because some of the front desk staff were very professional and friendly. However, some staff were really rude. My biggest issues was the fact that this hotel has the audacity to charge 130/night but cannot provide guests with a clean pair of sheets if they are needed in the evening. Absolutely absurd! People have kids, accidents can happen, and it’s a pet friendly hotel. So, how do you not have clean bedding for your guests? If you have kids and something happens, just forget having a clean place to sleep that night. And I use clean very loosely. The place was just half decent on the cleanliness factor. For the price, it was totally unacceptable. We had a spill on the bed at 7PM. We called to get some fresh sheets and were told that was not possible until the cleaning staff returns in the morning! Whoever is running that place should have enough common sense to at least have some extra bedding for guests. The next day I called in the morning for the sheets and was given a huge attitude from the staff about it. It’s not like I was asking for something outrageous. The walls are paper thin, the cleaning staff gives you attitude if you ask for anything , and something in that hotel is not right. I have a massive sinus infection after staying there. I think their AC units must be filthy. I’m still trying to recover from breathing in whatever is growing in that place and have really bad sinus pain. The other thing is the ridiculous price! 130 plus tax for a motel posing as a hotel?? You can get a resort ten minutes away from Disney with 24hr room service, spotless rooms, arcade , pool with a bar, the works! These people are out of their minds. “Quality” Inn needs to up their level of quality. No one expects much from that type of chain but the bare minimum is cleanliness, a decent price, and freaking bedding! How are they surviving in a place like Palmetto Bay?

It's a very good hotel for the price. It's not the Ritz, but you're not paying for the Ritz. The rooms are basic but clean. I stayed here for 5 weeks and I was quite satisfied with the experience. The hot breakfast is only a waffle maker, but there's a Publix right next door and a variety of restaurants in easy walking distance. The room has a mini fridge and microwave so I was able to get by just fine.

Needs some improvement here. Pros: Check in process was simple and straight forward. The lady who checked me in was quick and nice! Cons: My room has a weird smell, industrial cleansing smell. Could use a deep clean. Small critters were photographed and recorded by my bed stand.

I stay here atleast once every week because of business. Initially the hotel and the staff seemed great. However, as I have continued to stay here things have gone completely south. The quality of the rooms has declined. For example, the rooms reek of smoke, odd stains on the base boards. Other than that, the stay is very far from accommodating. I am a frequently customer and I have notice how certain extended check out times vary depending who you talk to. To be in the hospitality business you just truly love what you do and I have always appreciate the people who work in this industry. Learn to be sympathetic and understanding, rather than condescending. This is will be my last stay here and I will never EVER recommend this hotel.

The room was very clean and remodeled. Front desk staff was kind and helpful. Groundsmen workers didn’t seem as nice. The breakfast was absolutely horrible and laughable. Literally waffles and that was it basically. The hotel claims to be pet friendly, there is absolutely NO where to walk your dog! If you have a middle to large sized dog you should probably stay elsewhere. The pool was nice and clean.

It was kind of loud for me but it is located in a busy area downtown. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. There is an attached bar/ restaurant that had live music. Good value for the price.

First of all, there were roaches in the room. The floor was dusty. As a matter of fact, the room smelled musty and dusty. I couldn't stop coughing. Breakfast was horrible! Cold bacon and egg packet in a plastic bag. The people at the front desk were cordial. That's the only good thing about the place.

If I can give this place zero stars I will. I wouldn’t know where to start, but I’ll make a long story short! Don’t mistakenly leave anything in your room when you check out, because 10/10 you won’t get it back due to dishonest cleaners. It even felt like someone came in my room when I wasn’t there because I left there with multiple items missing! Lastly, they charged our card twice; paying doubled for one room, and they refused to give it back until check out! I will write a bad review everyday if I have too. Please avoid this place if you wish to have a great stay in Kendall!

Really friendly and helpful staff (checked in on Christmas day). Rooms are quite spacious and tidy, the bed is really comfortable! Breakfast during these covid times is light but nice, you just have to collect it from reception. I'd definitely recommend this place. Oh and really strong A/C & WiFi!

You have to ask for room servicing. Not an issue really but rooms should probably have a broom. Nice no carpet. It is a nicely refurbished hotel. The place is landscaped nicely. Kept clean. Continental breakfast no protien. They are pet friendly and should have a pet run? Nice pool good location if driving. Friendly staff.

Let me start by saying the location was the reason we picked this hotel. It was close to Jackson south medical center where my father was having surgery. However, the rooms are in bad shape. Our first room, yes I said first room because we had to move, was dirty. AC unit loud , filter full of dust and bathroom shower curtain didn’t close so the water leaked all over the floor. The exhaust fan was broken and we found a roach on the floor next to toilet. The beds were comfortable as well as the linens so that was a plus. The second room we moved too that was suppose to be in better condition wasn’t. Door wouldn’t work and lock properly… the bath tub had hair in it and didn’t drain properly… disgusting! Will never stay at a quality inn again. Holiday inn or Hampton inn so much better.
