Quality stuff but very expensive for me. Not a big store like Ashley’s furniture or IKEA buy I have been there twice or thrice and always see the people over there so I assume it’s quite popular. If you can afford a expensive furniture, I would recommend to visit at least once.

The store was beautiful the service was not, very hard to even get acknowledged let alone helped. Jill seemed too busy with here own agenda to care. Couldn’t be bothered to help me find what I was looking for and sent me upstairs to find it then proceeded to make phone calls. She was very rude, curt & not friendly at all. I was shocked she even worked there as my past PB experiences have never been this bad.

Worst customer service, not able to provide any help on problematic orders. Also the highest chance for shipping and delivery problems among many furniture brands I’ve purchased from- orders lost in transit, damaged items, delays. Not this specific store, but general pottery barn customer service.

Terrible customer service! They charged $249 for delivery, but the sofa came without supporting legs. Called several times, the customer service just simply asked me to wait. The sales lady who helped me with the purchase ignored my message. So I waited another eight month for the missing legs.

The store has no mobile signal and the Wi-Fi requires you to give your name and email address, which is ridiculous.

in store experience was not great. The design consultants are under staffed. Team wasn’t able to complete our order. We waited for 1+ week and no update…

Probably my most frustrating purchase and experience ever. Went to a store in Palo Alto where I was ignored for a while even though I told them I already know what I need. Just need to buy, no questions to be answered. I was told they don’t have it in store but will place the order for home delivery. $800+ for curtains for a room. Fine, I need them. After many days checking the status of my delivery, nothing. Still “preparing to ship” for over 6 days. Called CS, no help. Called the store (I was told to call with any issues), was placed on hold to get the person I placed the order with. I hang up and called again, was told she is busy with other customers and I left my phone info and was promised she’ll call me back. She never did. Called back, same day, and was told “she “ doesn’t work on Tuesdays (I was just told that she is with a customer). Someone is lying. Called back CS, again no help. Later that night the status changed to “label created”...well that was a few days ago. Still no curtains and still no call back from the store sells person. Never again.

The woman named Jill could use some training on customer service and some basic courtesy. She was passive aggressive

Pottery charged me twice for the same order which was placed online and it has been weeks since I cannot get my refund :( called twice already and they said I need to wait more and call again in two days and check where my money are. The problem is that I used a merchandise credit card and now it says that the card is no longer active when in fact it should have money on it. They just charged me twice for the same order and never issued a refund for it!!! No refund was made until I started calling and checking where the money were. And still I have not received it! Otherwise the quilt that I bought is nice (Belgian linen diamond quilt), but resolving money issue turns out to be hard.

Such poor quality! The craftsmanship for their furniture is crazily terrible. Even lower than Ikea. And at what price! I ordered a bedroom Cayman set of bed/nightstand/dressers. It has 4months lead time. And after 4 months, All furnitures arrived with damages! broken wood, chipped surface. And the paint was sprayed with drawer installed, so the drawer covered sideboard surface was not painted at all... it's so absurd. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Their sister brand crate and barrel are much better with similar price.

I was looking for drapery for our master bedroom. I went to the store in Stanford. The store manager, George provided the excellent service. He went above and beyond. This was my first time buying drapery and not sure what to look for. He patiently explained all the choices, pro and cons. I finally picked the set I liked. But most of the parts are not in this store. He even went to different stores to pick them up for me!!! I got the set much faster than if I ordered them online. I’m very happy with the purchase. the quality of the products are good. The prices are much lower than the specify store. Thank you George for you excellent service.

Great collection- staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. Only bummer is long ship times but store ppl don’t have much control over it.

Showcase of all things pottery barn style. Furniture is fashionable, stylish and trendy but often built to mediocre standards. If you buy into the style, you can give your living area a contemporary, cool-right-now look, but like most fashion, the pieces won't be something you hand down, but rather sell in a few years on Facebook. Drawers in the vanities are stiff and the slow close mechanism often stops the drawer from closing entirely. External "wood" finishes look nice but often feel artificial if not downright plastic-y. Wooden chairs, soft goods and accessories generally fare better.

As style goes the furniture comes from the early '90s. The service at this particular store is really good, they help out a lot and take their time to explain it all.

I’ve bought loads of things from pottery barn and I’ve never been disappointed. The curtain panels I bought years ago look like new and the couch I bought 4 years ago is wearing great. Whenever I go into the store their usually very attentive and knowledgeable. The only reason I’m only giving 4 stars is the occasional salesperson who really doesn’t like their job and probably shouldn’t be in home design. Unlike Restoration Hardware that charges you for things that should be included, like the brackets to put up your curtain rods, Pottery Barn includes those items with your purchase as it should be. I love the easy going, comfortable style that is Pottery Barn and wouldn’t hesitate buying items from the company.

This is a review for the customer service at Pottery Barn in general. I feel like the employee at this store tried her best to resolve this issue while we were there ( on multiple occasions) but no one followed up with us after to see if our problem was solved. The situation: We received a gift card from friends for $100 to shop at Pottery Barn. We tried the gift card online to purchase an item but it was never delivered. So we went to the store at the Stanford and explained the situation . They decided that the gift card had to be canceled and a new gift card will be mailed to our home address. 2 more visits to the store and one month later we have not yet received our gift card!

OMG whilst I am on hold AGAIN for Rob the manager after having a terrible experience with one of their on site "designers" that got the entire wrong.....DO NOT SHOP AT POTTERY BARN IN STANFORD MALL..... Likely the biggest nightmare of my life as a designer for my clients...Had to actually cancel the credit card because I could not get an appropriate service in any period of time.

The quality of the products is fantastic, as you would expect from Pottery Barn. I've however found service at this particular store to be below average for the brand a few times, hence the lower mark - the experience is a bit hit and miss depending on when you come. But the store has a good range of items on display if you just want to check stuff out.

We used to shop here very often but it's getting more and more expensive with cost down design over time. Same things are priced higher and quality lowered year after year.

Great service from Elizabeth everytime we go there. I really admire how cool they are considering how crazy (and stupid) people get close to Christmas.

When we moved to our new home we bought all our furnitures and rugs from pottery barn and extremely unsatisfied with their policies. The designers in this location are always in hurry and try to sell you as many items as they can with guarantee what you can return it. I purchased and returned few items and they will never process your return amount. I spend lot of time talking to customer service and get it sorted out. Worst design services and arrogant individual who do not care for customers need. Quality of pottery barn furnitures is also poor, i expected better quality for the price. On top of this their credit card ad reward systems are designed to rob customers. 1. If you used reward and return an item you loose it. 2. If reward are used it will show as returns in statement and further reducing rewards. 3. No autopay so have to keep track of payments.

We are planning our move to another state and requested a design consultation with one of the crew. We are planning to purchase a lot of furniture from pottery barn to fill our empty house. After the design consultation session, we received one email from the aforementioned design crew. After a few weeks, I sent an inquiry message about the promised design. We never heard anything back. Overall a waste of our time and the concept of design service seems to be just the lure. Very disappointing.

Terrible customer service. The personnel were more concerned about taking breaks than addressing the growing line at the register. And the MOD was cross-talking with the team, which was distracting to all. For example, I don't need to hear that the gal helping me doesn't want to take a break, tells the other gal to go AND THEN COMPLAINS when she is the only one remaining at register to assist. She then turned on her headset and very loudly yelled "customers waiting, I need help". This particular associate is also very loud and rude. She couldn't help re- refund of my Reward Dollars and only said "It will take a very long time...". I will NEVER shop at this location again and the entire experience is turning me off from shopping the company as a whole.

I love the brand but the experience at the store but incredibly bad. Staff wasn't willing to help and the one that finally helped me was very slow and not efficient at all. It took her almost an hour to process the order. I will not come back to this store.

(Translated by Google) I think it's a bit expensive but the truth is that things are of very good quality, the truth is very worthwhile since currently you can not find things of such good quality so easily, besides everything they sell is very nice (Original) Creo que es un poco caro pero la verdad es que las cosas son de buenisima calidad, la verdad vale mucho la pena ya que actualmente no encuentras cosas de tan buena calidad tan fácilmente, ademas todo lo que venden es muy bonito
