Delicious, delicious!!! This was a trip we took from the Southeastern US to vacation in Chicago and we wanted to find a good, authentic middle eastern restaurant to try. This was definitely it! The food was all spot on!!! The shawarma sandwich was so fresh and fantastic. The mixed grill had very high quality meat very well cooked, nothing was dry or bland. They keep coming around with fresh Turkish coffee (and it was nice and authentic). We are so happy we came here, the staff were all so welcoming and hospitable. This place is a must for either locals or visitors!

We shared the meat platter with 5 people and we all had leftovers to take home. The food is incredible and fairly priced. We have been before and will go back again! A friend got the mint lemonade and highly recommended it. I also had baklava and it’s some of the best I’ve had.

Waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable of the cuisine. The atmosphere was very calm, chill with nice music. The room temperature was cozy on this winter night. The lights are dim but still well lit. The seats were comfortable. The tables were clean. The prices are reasonable. And the appetizers are very full and main course was delicious as expected. The grilled meat was flavorful and smokey. They have straws and you can request lemon for your water.

I'm only going to comment because it surprised me. We were here 4 years ago and really enjoyed the food, but my taste was still very Brazilian since I'm from Brazil. My husband wanted different food and remembered this restaurant. I am truly amazed at all the delicious food we ate. Plus, the staff were so polite and the music was so good even though I didn't understand anything… lol. Greek food was my favorite food, but now Arabic food won my heart. I absolutely loved everything I ate. Congratulations on the perfect service!

The food was amazing and the staff is great. Will definitely return. Edit: I did note the bad reviews. And of course there is a bit of concern. I do feel that this place has potential. Changes can be made if more customers are wanted.

Totally worth the hype. I had Eid lunch at this location, with my friends. We enjoyed the mixed platter with smoothies. Each and every dish tasted divine. The smoothies, the coffee, the salad were just the cherry on top. This place is very welcoming and the staff is gentle and accomodating.I cannot wait to come back for more.

The food looked so good when it came out we dug in before taking all of the pictures but trust me, everything is flavorful and absolutely delicious! We had the Chicken Toshka for our appetizer which consists of Two whole pieces of baked pita bread stuffed with chicken, syrian cheese and a special garlic spread. My husband had the lamb chops platter which consists of Four lamb chops marinated with their special seasoning and grilled to your liking, served with grilled onions and tomatoes and 1/2 Red Rice 1/2 Yellow Rice, my son had the Chicken Tikka which is Two boneless skewers of marinated curry flavored boneless chicken, grilled onions and tomatoes and 1/2 Red Rice 1/2 Yellow Rice, I had the Chicken Tikka Wrap which consists of 1 Skewer of their homemade chicken tikka kabab chopped with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and homemade sauce on markouk bread and fries, and we all had Pina Coladas and mango smoothies. For dessert we had some hot tea with mint and a traditional Kanafa dessert made with thin noodle-like pastry, or alternatively fine semolina dough, soaked in sweet, sugar-based syrup and layered with cheese and pistachio nuts spread on top. On top of everything one of the managers and our host Yousef were attentive and very personable as well!

The servers were friendly and the atmosphere was lively. The food looked amazing. Unfortunately most of my pictures came out blurry. Even more unfortunate the food was ok. The meat was dry. The appetizers were great and the natural drinks they make are great too. Bread was good also. And omg the dessert. Wow. I think it's called kenufa or something I think. It was amazingly delicious. The meat was soo dry tho. Sigh...

I went there to try the Kunafa, but it was not as expected, I was expecting something different because basically, it is ( Albawadi) where you can find delicious food !💕 but unfortunately, it was less than what I was waiting for. It is not bad but lower than my expectations. The service was excellent. Note: the waiters were extremely helpful and welcoming, I extremely appreciate it.

This place is so delicious! And an amazing atmosphere. I always go here when I miss a taste of Jordanian food. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the food is all very good and authentic. They have a great variety of food and can fit any preference. The complimentary Arabic coffee is very good and adds to the hospitality they make you feel while there.

This place is a must!!! Maybe some of the best food I ever had!! All the staff were super friendly and fun!!! Great to talk to and learn more about their restaurant and culture!! A very authentic experience. The decor was top notch and with the music it really felt like you were in the Middle East!!

My first impression was.. my mind was blown away. The interior design, decorations, details pay homage to multiple different countries in the Middle East. The food is also very delicious and reasonably priced. They have an area near the front where they make fresh kunefe, naan / bread, and other dishes. It was really cool to see that rotating spinning cooker that heats up food. Loved this place and I usually don’t get drinks but I definitely did here!

Al Bawadi Restaurant in Bridgeview, IL is highly recommend. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent. The Bawadi Wings are cooked to perfection over a wood fire, and the aroma of the wood is simply intoxicating. The lamb shish kabob is also very good, and the cubes of meat are nice and tender. To top it all off, the tall giant host old guy in traditional outfit offered me coffee as I was leaving, and it was a delightful way to end the meal. The coffee was served in a tiny cup and had a cardamom flavor that was both refreshing and flavorful. I will definitely be back to Al Bawadi Restaurant soon!

My partner and I stopped in before heading to a concert, and we were so glad we did! This was our first time trying Palestinian food and the staff was so warm and welcoming, and suggested so many incredible dishes. The lamb, in particular, was amazing. Every single dish tasted so fresh. We’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is nice and the service is amazing, but the food wasn’t as good as i thought it would be. The salad had too much lime/lemon and the subs didn’t look appetizing in the slightest. The shrimp tasted amazing with the sauce and the crispy fries. Maybe on my next trip to chicago ill visit again for a better tasting experience.

Amazing taste, presentation, value, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend getting the mixed platters here to get a taste of everything, since every item stood out in its own way. But if you are only going to try a few items, the must tries are the labanah (yogurt spread), baba ghanoush (eggplant), kufta kebab, and shish kawook (chicken).

Amazing food! Everything we had was SO good! Fun environment and food service as well. The only downside was the higher prices

  • 5/5 Ruben B. 1 year ago on Google
This is the best Palestinian food in Illinois by far. Everything here is well prepared, the service is perfect, and they are friendly. The portions are big and it's easy to share. I will recommend the outta. Also you have to try the mint lemonade. It is amazing. You will have a great time here.

Pretty much the tastiest grilled food you'll be able to get your hands on in the city. Ridiculously tasty cuisine. Don't miss the tasty Kunafa with Nabulsi cheese. I highly recommend adding the Kibbeh to the appetizers you'll get with the big meal.

  • 5/5 Sara W. 2 years ago on Google
The food was delicious and fresh. Nice interior. Good vibes.. Good hospitality. I am not sure if it's pricy or not as I was invited there. Good place to visit or take your guest to impress. Good for kids. Better make reservation first to be served easily.

Tried their mixed grill which was way above nation average. Not the best Mediterranean restaurant you could eat in but definitely the best in the midwest. Service was stunning.
