😠 My Dad has been in this rehab facility for a little over 3 weeks as of today (2.23.17) and I can honestly say that I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone. The only thing nice about Bria of Palos Hills is that it's a new building (just opened in July 2016) and the facilty is kept very clean... People often mention facility, care, staff, Bria, work,

My Dad has been in this rehab facility for a little over 3 weeks as of today (2.23.17) and I can honestly say that I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone. The only thing nice about Bria of Palos Hills is that it's a new building (just opened in July 2016) and the facilty is kept very clean and does not smell at all, however the nursing care and other so called care provided by the employess is the absolute worst. From the administration, admissions, the nurses and CNA's - most workers there are unqualified to care for their patients; there have been a couple of good workers there who try their hardest to help the patients but for the most part, the majority of the people who work at this facility don't care about the patients at all. The only department that my Dad has had no problems with and are very nice is the people who work in the dialysis area, they have been wonderful caring for my Dad. A few examples of the inadequate care my Dad has received are: - one of his nurses was arguing with him saying he wasn't a diabetic and he's been one for years, the nurse was insistant that he did not have diabetes. - the minimun amount of time it takes anyone to answer the call light is 45 minutes to an hour, so don't need anything right away because you won't get it. - Nurses do not administer medication in a timely manner, sometimes the nurse would be 2-4 hours late giving my Dad his pain medication. - My Dad laid in his bed in pain for 2 days before one of his nurses who came on to work the 3p-11p shift (Thank you nurse Matt who works on the 1st floor!) stepped in and contacted the doctor to help my Dad. Nurse Jan (day shift on the 2nd floor) let my Dad lie there in pain her entire shift telling my Dad there was nothing she could do to help him. I could go on and on with several more horrific incidents that have occured at this facility due to most of the incompetent people who work at Bria of Palos Hills but I'll stop here. I think I've made my point at how disappointed I am in this facility and those who are not only in charge of it (the administration) but especially those who are hired there to care for the patients and yet they show very little compassion for them and give them hardly any care at all. My Dad being a patient in this facility has been a very bad experience for both of us.

My mother in law is in Bria of Palos Hills for rehabilitation. She is 84 years old and fragile. The caregivers, the staff at every level, at Bria are the highest of quality. They truly give comfort care, along with rehabilitative care. They began therapy the day she got there and we look forward to when she is strong enough to come home! I strongly would recommend the facility!

My mother was here for almost 5 weeks. We chose Bria Strive due to the fact that they have rehab and on site dialysis. We thought it would be easier on her to do both in one facility. The nurses and CNA’s were very nice but definitely understaffed. I believe they are making the best of a bad situation. As for administration, they were not helpful at all. We complained after a “care plan meeting” at the end of her third week. The Nursing supervisor and the physical therapy supervisor knew nothing about my mom or her progress at all. They told us she was not progressing so she would need to leave the facility the following week even though she would still need 24 hour care, but when we pressed for more information the PT supervisor looked up her file on the computer and notes from therapists who worked with her showed she was progressing. This supervisor also gave my cell phone number and personal information about my mother to a company called A Place for Mom after I specifically told them we were not interested in using that service. All I got from her boss was an apology, she never apologized though, and he said she will be trained better. The new administrator we spoke to promised he would look into all of this and I never heard from him again. His assistant was in a follow up meeting, but was very condescending. I could go on about individual supervisors’ rude behavior, but suffice it to say, I would not recommend Bria Strive, especially if your loved one is elderly and in poor health. Administration just treated her like a Medicare payment, not a sick person who needed their help.

I had the good fortune of being there twice in 6 months. First for knee replacement in Oct 2015 & then for total cervical reconstruction(C3 thru T3), Mar 2017. The care I received was excellent. The nurses came within 2 minutes of ringing buzzer. The food was the best ever so if you were hungry, its your fault. My Doctor came to remove my stitches & marveled at how beautiful it is here (5 star hotel!). I will continue to come here whenever I need specialized care. Keep up the excellent work you are doing!😅😅

My fiancé was here in 2016. I wouldn’t send my dog there. The staff is lazy, they ignore the patients and the attitudes are horrible. The state actually came out at the time he was in there. They done nothing about the complaints because the person over the staff made sure she was there to lie for the staff. They paint this beautiful picture on line for STRIVE, but walk a few feet down the street to the “low-income” part of of the facility and it’s a mess. I came everyday to wash up and dress my fiancé because the showers for the residents were just plain disgusting. The one star for ratings is too much to give this facility.👎🏼

Bought reviews, My loved ones’ rights have been constantly infringed upon ever since their admittance to this facility. The staff doesn’t respect the residents’ dietary preferences nor do they take into consideration any allergic reactions that may surface from the food they serve at all!!!! BEWARE! Has placed my family members in danger multiple times due to lack of care. Never send your loved ones here, staff may neglect their needs because they’re to busy playing with their phones. The proprietor of this facility is the devil.

I have stayed at Bria o more than once after surgeries. The majority of the staff are very good. The facility is very nice. However, they have to get their kitchen fixed. The food is terrible. It would have to work very hard to get up to the level of bad. If my husband was unable to bring me food it would be impossible. The staff knows it also. I would give them a better grade of review if their food was better.

I would have to disagree with the last comment below. Although this may not be the most attractive facility and it may have an odor at times when I visit, the staff there is amazing. The receptionist is magnificent and very pleasant. Every time I visit I'm greeted with a smile. I have had the pleasure with interacting will all the women who work in the front at some point and the have been more than helpful.

I was there to visit a patient, the staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. The facility was very clean. The patient I went to visit love this place and the staff seems to live her.

I was very impressed upin my 1st visit. My dad is there for short term rehab. The place was immaculately clean everywhere. Staff is attentive and answered my questions and concerns. My dad likes it there as well.

😠 I have to write this review as this place is horrible! :( :( The only good thing about it is that the facility is newer and clean and they have a few good nurses at least 2 as well as a few good physical therapists also 2. My mother-in-law was there for 16 days straight from the hospital for rehab...
