Dr Dahl is a gem. She took the time to explain the procedures and was gentle handling my dog. They also called the next day to follow-up to make sure everything was okay.

We've been taking our pets here for over 15 yrs. Dr. Dahl and her staff are amazing. From keeping our last two cats comfortable as they age. And for the excellent care of current two. Hemi and Dakota, thank you.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. They do not care about your pet's wellbeing and will argue with you over the phone instead of helping with the issue. They promised to fax my pet's insurance script to Costco because the doctor forgot to give me a written one. Days later I call and now they are REFUSING to fax it. The manager only repeats "that is not our policy." The manager did not care about their mistake and basically told me either drive and get the script or too bad. I cannot believe I was treated so badly especially when this business is supposed to about helping pets. My dog is now suffering extreme allergies and I have no way of driving to get the script.

Absolutely Amazing! I can’t even find the words to express how grateful I am for this place. I will be bringing my animals here from now on. Dr. Dahl & her staff are the best. So sweet, so caring & know exactly what they’re doing. This is the place to go if you want outstanding care/compassion towards your fur baby(s).

Staff is very courteous and professional, and the vet is thorough in his explanations and recommendations. Can't beat the half-price vaccinations on Wednesdays after the initial consultation.

Terrible experience putting my family cat of 21 years down. Male vet seemed very nervous, gittery and unsure of himself. Little empathy for my family during the process. This was not how I've ever seen putting a pet down... He shaves my girls arm, 'finds' vein and inserts needle. He very slowly injects some and stops. Slowly injects again and stops. And again till nothing is left in the needle. Male vet states she is still breathing, he didn't get it in her vein and needs to do it again. He came back, couldnt inject in same already shaved arm, so he had to shave her other arm and redo the whole process. The second time there was a huge air bubble in the needle. I said something. Male vet tried to tell me 'it just came about while he was injecting' which was a lie and I called him out. I asked why the second time was so much faster than the first and he said it was 'because it was in the vein' so I asked if it wasnt in the vein the first time why did you administer the entire thing and not start over? Even though it's the end of her life why is she suffering more due to neglect? To which he didn't have an answer. As if it wasnt bad enough she was leaving, this earth, my family and my life, her last moments on earth were terrible because of this. Find anywhere else. You pets deserve better than here!

They are amazing to their clients. And super fast. Thanks for taking care of us. This is the third time coming here with sandy. My husband and I inherited here after my husband past away. He's been going there for over twenty years with all his dogs. If Walter Foody trust them, then I know we are in good hands.

Great, caring Veterinarians. Highly recommended if you have a pet! I have been a client for the last 15 years, and I trust them implicitly. Dr. Dahl and her associates, in my experience, are absolutely second to none. When I had to put my last dog down last April- which was my 1st experience having to do so- they couldn't have been more kind. Want a Veterinarian you can trust 100% with your pets care- from the start to finish? Look no further. TMI- but an explanation for my high review: Now I have a new puppy... The seller gave me another Vet that I "had" to visit once to maintain a health guarantee. So I did. When I bought my new puppy, the seller sent me home with a 5-day antibiotic as a "preventative" because he was around other dogs... Seemed logical, although I didn't get that with my 1st dog. I went to THEIR Vet for the visit and they gave him a clean bill of health, yet sent me home with another 5 day antibiotic regimen, still "preventative." Well, turns out it wasn't likely preventative because when Dr. Dahl did a fecal, turns out my puppy had giardia, a fairly common intestinal parasite dogs/pets can get from other dogs in a kennel. Dr. Dahl did tell me that if the "assigned" Vet only had 300x magnification equipment to check the 'sample' it could be missed. She looked under 600x and found it (the giardia). Still, I remain skeptical of the seller and assigned Veterinarian sending me home with more 'preventative' antibiotics... Dr. Dahl and her associates are top Docs in my book- and more TMI- that's coming from a multiple time Cancer survivor who's seen PLENTY of people Docs. You develop a sense of who's just doing their job and those who really CARE. If you want the absolute best for your pet, see Southwest Animal Care. The "CARE" is definitely here!! Update - Sligo, my SCWT- just had his neuter surgery. 😬 Once more, Dr. Dahl & staff were wonderful.

Dr. Dahl is a God send. My husband and I recently adopted an 2 year old American Bully from our breeders with an understanding they would like to breed him in the future. After 3 weeks of having him, he had his first seizure. Took him to the vet the next day and had his 2nd seizure after he got home. Took him back the next day and they diagnosed him with epilepsy. Prescribed us medication and thats it. No letting us know what to do, what to expect, etc. I left with a million questions and not 100% confident he has epilepsy since before his first seizure, he had his rabies shot and got chipped. A month later, he had 7 seizures in one night. We were exhausted, frustrated and even more lost on what to do. We got no answers from our normal vet so I began looking for a new one. A friends sister-in-law who is a vet recommend Dr. Dahl. The receptionist was super sweet and understanding of the situation. She let me know they offer a 2nd opinion consultation that lasts for 40 minutes, but the soonest they can get me in was in 2 weeks. I was willing to wait since our previous vet gave us nothing, but pills and all I want is answers and to understand how we should handle our situation. The day of our visit was amazing. First the staff were super sweet and friendly. Our dog Winter hated the previous vet, but this time he had the best time ever with all the attention he was getting. Dr. Dahl was fantastic. She confirmed that unfortunately he does have epilepsy, told us what we should do when he has a seizure, what we shouldn't do like no NexGuard (topical only), don't bother getting an MRI or seeing a neurologist if I ever have to take him to the ER, etc. She told us the he had a heart murmur, which the previous vet didn't tell us after we took him there 3 times!!!!! But Dr. Dahls office is dead quiet compared to the previous vet. Now we know how to handle and what to look for with his heart murmur. They also told us if Winter ever has a seizure is to text them so they can have it on file when we come in. We left the office like a HUGE weight off our shoulders. We feel educated on how to handle his epilepsy and confident we can give him the care he needs. We will be taking Winter and now his mother MooMoo there now on. I'm so happy we found Dr. Dahl!

I love bringing my cat here because everyone does a great job and gives the best service including front desk. If I ever have a concern about my pet I always call them and they’re so helpful and give a lot of information. They never get annoyed or ever give me short answers.. I’m definitely bringing my new puppy I just got.. I’ve been recommending my family and friends here and they have had the same great experiences..Definitely recommend!

Thanks and God bless to Dr. Dahl and her amazing staff. At a time when we needed compassion and empathy the Southwest Animal Care Center was with us to help us say goodbye to Carl The Wonder Dog. We highly recommend Dr. Dahl and her staff for all your pet and furry friends needs.

Just wanted to thank Dr Dahl. We had to put our cat Pinky down who was a feral cat That my mom started feeding and caring for outside Everyday for about two years. As the weather was freezing outside the cat was not doing good and we decided to take the cat in. We needed a feral cat vet to give her an exam. After a few visits Pinky was getting sick and dr Dahl ran tests Pinky had kidney disease we tried altering her diet as the vet suggested which helped for a while But because Pinky was an outside cat before we got her her condition was worsening. On. 5-19-22 I had to have pinky put down but I still wouldn't have done anything different. Thank you for being so helpful and kind and to help us in our time of need. My Husky had an issue with her ear. When I called, the office staff got me in same day. Nurse Miranda was super nice and informative, recommending care and making sure Nova got everything she needed! Dr. Haddy was very nice and informative as well. Appointment was quick, but we still felt very taken care of! Highly recommend!
