Worth a visit for sure. In love with this beautiful place. The weekend was quiet with few tourists or visitors passing by. You get to witness the great pacific ocean from here. This place is scenic whether you go in the morning, afternoon or evening. If you are lucky you can spot whales as well from the top. Free parking is available along the streets. This is a pet friendly place.

Went for the shipwreck trail, it was tough but we made it!! You need to walk on the rocks all the way, but the scenery was beautiful and breeze was nice too. The sunset was amazing! We took 3hours + to go and back and it's about 5 miles hike. Found some seashells, sea urchin, and dead sea lion πŸ₯Ί

Amazing and quiet sunsets!! Free parking on the sides of the road. The sunsets here are just beautiful and serene. The many holes in the ground are lizard holes. Fishing here is a red zone, so eat sparingly

Fantastic place. Gorgeous views! Places to sit and some short trails. Great spot for a picnic. Whale watching at the right time of year. Osprey were flying everywhere.

A favorite place to hike and visit of all of California. I always feel so light and happy around here. There is amazing energy and friendly people. Always stop for snacks at the Trader Joe's nearby.

Beautiful scenic spot. No fee parking lot. Views of the coastline from Redondo beach all the way to Malibu. On a clear day, one can see downtown LA and even the Hollywood sign. Short half mile trail about 15 min. Absolute must see.

Very beautiful hike but it’s not really difficult. It’s more like a walk on dirt. The trail is not marked but it goes along the road to the right if you come from Redondo Beach. The views are amazing, the hike it’s kinda plain. But you go for the views. Stay away from the edges because the cliffs are not stable. There are some trees too that are hanging on the cliffs. This area reminds more of Northern California and parts of Carmel. There is a lot of nature and marine life you can check out. However you have to go towards the water and definitely take the coastal hike on low tides.

A beautiful coastline that is breath taking. Very few people know about it but it is worth the drive. Just have to be extremely careful when trying to look down and over it since it is a steep drop and the grass is wet and slippery. The sunset view itself is out of this world

The sunset here is absolutely amazing! There’s a pretty steep but short rope trail you can take to get down to the beach. It was so much more fun than the actual walking trail. It wasn’t very crowded when we went on a Wednesday night. We had the whole rock area to ourselves at the bottom of the trail. You’ll see tons of birds, snails and crabs in the tide pools. Definitely worth a quick stop if you find yourself in southern LA.

This place was absolutely beautiful. There was a nice hike that we took to the rocky side of the beach. The pictures say it all 🧑

Stumbled upon this lookout and trail down to some tide pools and my mouth was gaping the whole time. There is a really dangerous way to get down with a rope but if you take the zig zagging path down it’s a more gradual decline. If you do the safe way and you want to get to the tide pools just walk along the beach to your right.

Absolutely perfect place to hangout and get to the Cove, or to just surf around, or even better, relax with views of the beach, mountains, city and Snowcaps!

Beautiful drive and scenery along the coast from Torrance to San Pedro. Take some snacks and drinks and stop along the way to enjoy our beautiful coast line?

Easily one of the best places around LA. Usually not overrun by tourists, the scenic views are just majestic. Most of the shoreline trails are easy walks but they do run along steep cliffs. Parking can be hard to find but just grab any spot, even far away, since the walk and views are amazing. There are some great little south facing surf spots along with some rocky beaches. Bring a wetsuit as the water is usually cold, even on hot days.

This is a beautiful area to area to watch a sunset over the ocean from a mountain top. The views are just breathtaking from different vantage points there are bunnies and other part of nature hopping and flying around. This is a beautiful quiet peaceful peaceful neighborhood type setting you can set up chairs there's plenty of open space that is public when there are trails down to the beach I highly recommend catching a sunset from this spot.

Went here for a small run. The views from here are amazing nothing but ocean views. After a bit you get to the high end residential areas and you get to see nice houses.

  • 5/5 Jaela A. 10 months ago on Google
Just absolutely gorgeous, natural, and enchanting atmosphere. A very quiet, friendly, quaint community nestled high above the ocean shore overlooking the endless panoramic view of the ocean and its sail boats and jet skiers. You can't go wrong bringing your Belle or Beau here. You'll get lost in the beauty, so Einstein's Theory of Relativity, determining that time is relative-the rate at which time passes depends on your frame of reference applies when visiting this shoreline. Every moment is precious, so make time for yourself in this life and Enjoy!

Bluff views of the ocean and the bays around the Palos Verdes area. On clear days views north to Malibu and the South Bay cities. Some seating but not much, be prepared to haul out your trash.

A great place to have a picnic, with amazing views at sunset and a small hike down to the edge of the ocean. Parking on the side is a bit limited, but you'll find a spot if you go at the right time. It's definitely worth the drive though. 5/5 Stars

this was a great place to visit even on a last minute spur of the moment type of visit. we were somewhat near the area and i decided i wanted to go for a walk and see the sun set and i was going to actually go to a beach pier but opted to drive a little further and go here which ended up being great! i hadn't visited this area in over 10 years and it was awesome to visit again and see a new area even.
