Clear and cold water, clean environment and pure air. The tracks are friendly for children and senior citizens. Only about 700 meters from parking lot, we have already arrived at the clear streams. Locals called this place curug which means waterfalls. It is indeed waterfalls but not to high, and about three wide and sloping place to soak in and feel the freeze. There is a guard in places where many people gathered. He monitors the water and the trashes. When we were there it rained quite heavy and they coordinated with people at the upstream whether there is an increasing water level. An increasing water level could be dangerous in this place because a rocky feature of the water streams. It has food vendors nearby and two restroom stations. Each stations has five toilet rooms. This is only a part of Halimun National Park. Not yet exploring the other parts. When It is raining, the fog is thick. It's about 3.30pm when we left the place and the fog is in surrounding trap us. We decide to wait in one of corn grilled stall. The road is quite steep and slippery for our car, so precautions is a must.

Went there with a group of my senior from faculty. The water was clear and cold. There were a lot of weir which create a small pond to swim. There were several changing room or toilet near the waterfall, but lack of sanitation (and you need to pay small amout of money tho, around 2k or 3k). At that time, we got there around 8-ish a.m., the weather was sunny and warm, but turned to be cloudy in the afternoon. Overall it was great, since we visit there during weekdays, so only few people came, not too crowded.

If you are here in the morning you can enjoy the atmosphere which is not crowded, the water is very cold, you can also camp here the view is good

2nd visit. The place is still as good as before, even with few new spots for sitting. However, our timing wasn't the right one since this place is having hundreds of visitors due to lebaran holiday. Nevertheless, still recommended if you want to tame the river

A perfect place for anyone who wants to see waterfall but doesn't want too much hike. The water is clear and cold. If you come on the weekends, I advise you to arrive very early in the morning to avoid crowd. Please check the weather forecast beforehand as well cause the stream can get too strong and muddy when heavy rain comes. If you want to stay overnight, the place is also offering a camp site. There are some photographers offer their services with affordable price. Ticket: 10k / person

2nd times visiting, overall one of the best curug in the area, careful the water is quite cold. There's few tourist attraction spot near here, not just this one. You also could camp here. Ticket for entrance is 10k, parking also 10k for a car. Pretty much cheap. The water indeed so much clear and there's quite many foodstall, so no need to worry

Access from entry gate is ok, there are some small waterfall with artificial made to create shallow lagoon for swimming. However in my opinion still need improvement for toilet and shower facility.

The best time to go here is ONLY on weekdays. Why? Cause it would be VERY CROWDED on weekends and the water is no longer clear, it's brown water. Perfect if you wanna take your parents here as well cause the journey is not exhausting, it only took you 5-10 mins to reach the waterfall.

The waterfalls and pinus forest are refreshing, but the road to get there so bad. It's been decades no improvement, that's what I've heard. To Pemkab Bogor please pay attention to this area.
