The church where we got married

Visited on 4th November 2022 for the first time after the Church was renovated and was highly impressed by the complete transformation. The Church has an almost Cathedral effect an seems to be more spacious with access to all areas of the Church including the well maintained cemetery.

Thank you Jesus for blessing me with the wonderful music early in the morning, blasting through em Retro Loud Speakers! While I and many others are trying to work from home during the Lockdown.. It's such wonderful thing to do in a Buddhist Community! I hope all the Catholic Churches around the world does the same! Let's shove the God's word in other people's ears & let them have no say! BRAVO!

A new church at Willoruwatta, Moratuwa.

Main church in Willorawatta parish. Now church building is under construction..Church is celebrating their 125th jubilee in 2020. Church feast will be held on first sunday of November. Church is dedicated to St.Charles..This is the only church in Sri Lanka dedicated to him. Willorawatta has around 800 catholic families. You can find this church after going on moratumulla road 3km from rawatawatta. Old church was removed fully and now building a new big church.

Youth team of the church doing amazing job to reduce waste matter of their own community by collecting PET plastic, Papers and other recyclable items.

I'm not a Catholic. But I could participate in a wedding in this church. I didn't have any idea about the way I should behave in a church. But try my best with my little one. My pardon if I made any mistake.
