A very private boutique hotel in Wadduwa, with exceptional service. From the entrance till we left, the service was great and the best thing about the hotel is because of the villa concept, you have utmost privacy even if the hotel is full. Their buffet definitely has room for improvement, but otherwise I have no complaints.

As the name suggests, this place is indeed quite serene. Although they advertise themselves as a Balinese-style luxury hotel, the experience was not quite on par. Even though the villas are quite spacious, they seem a tad dated and are in need of some refurbishing. The service was fantastic and our own personal butler Pasindu was quite courteous and helpful. You get a wide variety of food, but it could be better for the price we pay. Lovely location, but not the best of beaches. Pool was pretty good. The villa had a very spacious jacuzzi. Wifi connectivity was a bit poor on the mobiles. I also felt that privacy was not all that great as one could peep into the adjacent villa. I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel staff had washed our car before our departure too.

We stayed two nights in two bed rooms garden pavilion villa. Which is spacious for 4 adults. Room has big two rooms, big living area and two big indoor bathrooms attached to rooms and toilet outside adjoining to the ponge pool. Food is tasty and service is amazing. Friendly staff. Our family looking to go again soon.

A Hidden Gem of Tranquility and Luxury! I recently had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the unparalleled luxury and tranquility of Serene Pavilions. If you're someone who values privacy and is seeking a truly remarkable escape, this is undoubtedly the destination for you. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of exclusivity and relaxation. The attention to detail is evident everywhere – from the private pool and jacuzzi to the personal lobby and dining area, everything is thoughtfully designed to provide an intimate and luxurious experience. What truly sets Serene Pavilions apart is their exceptional service. Every whim and wish seemed to be anticipated, thanks to the dedicated private butler assigned to the pavilion. This elevated the experience to a whole new level of personalized indulgence. The ambiance of the surroundings is a harmonious blend of peace and calm. It's a haven where you can truly disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I found myself unwinding effortlessly amidst the lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature. Speaking of delightful experiences, the culinary offerings at Serene Pavilions are a true delight. The impeccable service extends to the dining experience, where delectable dishes are served promptly and with the utmost care. The flavors were a perfect complement to the serene atmosphere. While my stay was near-perfect, I did notice a minor issue with the room's air conditioning. However, I am confident that the dedicated staff at Serene Pavilions will address this promptly, as their commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of the property. In summary, my stay at Serene Pavilions was an enchanting escape into a world of luxury, privacy, and tranquility. The memories of my time there will stay with me for a lifetime. I wholeheartedly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone seeking an unforgettable retreat that marries opulence with serenity. *I took my time to write a long review simply because this Luxury Boutique Hotel truly deserves a heartfelt recommendation

The worst hotel I have ever been! Ugh, where to start..So we had booked it for 2 nights and on the second night around 11 pm there was a huge water pump blast on the villa and within seconds it got flodded with water, and a part of the roof literally falled onto us while we were running downstairs! It was a life threatning situation and because of the foolish placement of power outlets on floor, I got sparked also. All our belongings got completely wet including cloths and phone chargers, luckily we got the laptops out as soon as this happend. The best part is, all they did is apologized and changed the villa to another one for the night. It was also a nightmare as we had to move to 3 different villas until 2am, one after the another because of the poor preparation from the staff. So the 2nd day is completely ruined and when we checkout in the morning, all they offered was 20% off from the 2nd day bill and only the laundry fee was waived off! Are you kidding me? Only 20% discount after facing that kind of stiuation? LOL So I have argued with them and managed to get 40% off from 2nd day bill, which was still not reasonable because some of my electronics have also damaged that would cost me a considerable amount. Anyways I didn't liked to argue with that people and left there disappointed. My advice? Never ever set foot on this hotel! Go there if you want to witness horrible management and untrained staff. Anyone from the management can comment down here if I'm lying, I have all the proof and willing to submit if they denied my claims

I had the pleasure of staying at the place and it was our honeymoon, and I must say it was an absolutely incredible experience. From start to finish, every aspect of the stay exceeded my expectations and left me feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and thoroughly satisfied. The first thing that struck me about this place was the stunning location. Nestled in a breathtakingly beautiful setting, the property offered breathtaking views of the beach that were truly awe-inspiring. Whether I was lounging on my balcony or taking a dip in the pool, I couldn't help but feel completely at peace and in harmony with nature. But the location was just the beginning. The accommodations themselves were absolutely top-notch. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and impeccably clean, with every comfort and convenience I could have wished for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens and pillows were of the highest quality, ensuring a restful night's sleep every night. The amenities at this place were also superb. From the delicious breakfasts served every morning , everything was designed to pamper and indulge the guests. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible. All in all, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or simply a luxurious escape from the stresses of everyday life, this place has everything you need and more. Five stars, without a doubt

Place is enormous though Less privacy on the lower floor. Can easily see inside the house. There has been little dust coming from the ceiling I think, the tiny brown stuff the falls to the floor from the ceiling. Place is nice. There are fish too that u can feed, your little one will enjoy fish feeding. Place is equipped with almost everything- microwave, fridge, kettle, utensils. Food is ok. There was an issue at first but it was sorted out. KiDs will enjoy the pool and the jacuzzi.

We stayed at an ocean pavilion for 2 nights with our kids and it was a superb experience. It's a dedicated mini house for every family with a private pool. Privacy is decent too. Ground floor has a tv area and a dining area with a small pantry which is a great help when u travel with little kids. Upper floor has the bed room, balcony facing the beach and a large wash room with a jacuzzi. Beach is well maintained and has easy access. Food was also pretty decent and they were supportive with kids. Staff is super friendly and Mr. Nadeera, the butter, has been great. We had an awesome time. Highly recommended.

I can't help but share what an incredible time we had during our recent visit to the serene pavilion. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by an atmosphere of luxury and tranquility. The location services were impeccable, making sure every detail of our stay was taken care of. The food deserves special mention; it was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was a delightful journey of flavors, and it's clear that great care was taken in crafting the menu. We found ourselves indulging in every bite while enjoying the breathtaking views which was truly mesmerizing, creating a romantic and picturesque backdrop. One of the unique highlights of our stay was the private pool. It provided a refreshing and intimate way to unwind, adding an extra layer of luxury to the experience. The fact that we could enjoy the pool while taking in the stunning scenery was simply magical. A special shoutout goes to the butler who was not only punctual but also incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Their professionalism added a personal touch that made us feel valued and well taken care of. In conclusion, our time at the serene pavilion was nothing short of extraordinary. It's the kind of place where every detail is meticulously planned to create an unforgettable experience. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or simply a luxurious escape, this is the perfect destination. We left feeling rejuvenated, grateful, and already looking forward to our next visit.

The location and the atmosphere was great...the "ocean pavilion" two story cabana was over the expectations, and very spacious and clean.. private butler was allocated, and all the requirements were fulfilled by him..lunch and the tea was served to the pavilion. Normally lunch was served as set menu.. Plunge pool was clean and nice..depth of the pool was ideal....ideal place for a couple or even some group for a day outing.. All the necessary things are provided in the pavilion...

We had a nice time in the hotel. Stayed in a ocean villa & it is specious clean and fully equipped. Bathroom is also very good having large mirrors, jacuzzi & shower separately. Main pool is also large and having a good depth ( around 1.2m). All staff from the reception to the restaurants are professional. Assigned butler is also a good service oriented (Lasitha or Lakshitha). But food is not up to the expected level. Should improve their set menus & buffet up to LUXURY standards if they mean it.

Liked the large cozy Ocean pavilion. Calm environment. Has a plunge pool which could have been better if it was bit more cleaned. Upstairs has the bed room and the bath. Large wardrobe and an office room. Good for remote working. Spotted few dated furniture. The living room setup could have improved with a large couch to stretch a bit more. Food experience was mediocre. Portion sizes were ample. Items were fresh. Tasted Ok, but not great. Could have improved on the selection of some ingredients replacing regular chips, catering sausages and butter. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The two storied luxury villas they offer with private pools for each are quite spacious and comply to the term luxury. Our one had a great view of the ocean and garden. Also the butler assigned to us named Pasindu provided us a best in class service. Taste of food needs improvements as a five star hotel. I can highly recommend this place to anyone.

Serene pavilions was the ideal location to take a 3.5 month baby on holiday. From a beautiful cot, decked in blue linen, to the personalised service, the staff went over and beyond to make our stay a comfortable one. The layout of the property ensured that we didn't even have to see any other guests, as food is served in your private dining room, in your chalet. Highly recommended for all new parents who want a safe holiday destination with a small baby. Serene Pavilions has opened after being closed for 2 years and smaller hotels need all the help they can to revive themselves during these hard times. So if you are going on holiday, maybe select an SME and help a small business and their employees out.

We stayed in a two-bedroom garden pavilion. Perfectly suited for a group of friends or family. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They had a set menu, but that was very tasty. After the visit they provide us discount for our next visit which I haven't experienced before. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wadduwa.

It was a great experience from the reservations to the checkout!. Lakshitha and Thilini did a wonderful job with the reservations. Communications were really great. We've got the corner pavilion/villa 'Shanthi" if I am not mistaken. It was an Ocean Pavilion. I would always recommend the ocean pavilion. It was a one bed room, double storied villa with private pool. It is indeed a wonderful infrastructure. Spacious and lovely. The private pool was well maintained. We went on a discounted rate (due to the country situation). The infrastructure is getting old and would need some serious maintenance eg. lights, fans, A/C etc. The ground fool does not have window blinds and privacy could be a bit problematic. The food was not great...but good - may be this comes with the price. The bed room is really spacious. It has an attached office room as well (cool). The bathroom and the closet area are also specious. I think they would do a good job if its a standard rate etc. The staff were great. Our butler "Pasindu" was awesome. They have a nice bar and the common pool seems to be wonderful as well (though we did not use due to the covid situations. The ocean villas open towards the beach and a garden. The beach is accessible but not recommended for bathing. I would definitely go back when things become a bit normal in the country!
