Dharohar is one of its kind museum in the country that showcases not only the artefacts seized by Indian Customs but also depicts various aspects of work performed by the Customs Department while safeguarding the economic frontiers of the country, its heritage, flora & fauna and the society.

A very beautiful museum, exclusively painted in customs's colour..A deep insight for customs procedure in smuggling cases is provided and how the operations are executed for seizure of the forbidden articles..The curators of the museum are master of their field and explain minute details. The custodian of the museum is well versed in her field. Overall a life time experience...A must visit place in Goa.

Nice experience to see the heritage culture of Indian Customs and GST gallery. The modus operandi of smuggling activities through land, sea and air can be visualised through the customs gallery. The GST gallery shows the change in old central excise to GST era, which subsequently gives us feeling that we are part of the historical change in Indian taxation.

The customs cases referred, modus-operandi shown are mind-boggling. Its a true depiction. Visited many museums in india but this one is altogather different. People must visit such museum where department is safeguarding national Dharohar in the form of antiques, wildlife, assets etc and stopping smuggling of items which can harm the national economy, or disturb the peace. Wonderful experience.

A delightful and unexpected surprise! I visited the place with an image of dank, dingy museum in mind. But the amazing job done by the officials was an eye opener. The museum maintains international standards and is an absolute “Dharohar” for the country. Some of the artefacts and information displayed are amazing and add value. A must visit!
