Our experience at Vivenda Rebelo was truly exceptional. The heritage bungalow, set in a serene location, provided a unique charm that added to our stay's memorable character. The rooms were not only spacious and clean but also thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed – from a kettle, cups, and water bottles to tea and coffee sachets, clean bed sheets, blankets, and, of course, Wi-Fi. The area is centrally located yet very quiet, surrounded by trees, and many restaurants are easily accessible from here. Mr. Derek, our host, is one of the warmest, resourceful, and enthusiastic individuals we've had the pleasure of meeting. His suggestions led us to explore the less touristy but culturally rich areas of Panjim, where we discovered traditional bakeries and intriguing art galleries. He has four very friendly and sweet dogs, which is like a cherry on top for dog lovers :) Our time at Vivenda Rebello made us feel like we'd found a second home in Goa. It's the kind of place that makes you want to return, and we can't wait to do so!

A great homestay in the most premium, leafy surrounding of Panjim. The owner, Deric Rebelo is the perfect host. Very good restaurants are a stone's throw away. A particularly convenient location. The Mandovi river promenade is across the road.

A quaint Goan home in a beautiful location and an affable, helpful and amazing host, Derric...this is how I would describe Vivenda Rebelo. The location is perfect - the area is quiet but has great restaurants all around, within walking distance. It's a great place to stay for a few days or even months.

It's the best place for us on India (where we have been travelling for 2 months). It's not a hotel but more like a home. The place is quiet, lots of trees around (and it all was blossoming yellow flowers during our stay) We had the room with big terrace and enjoyed spending here the hot day time and evenings. The rooms are clean and nice. The house itself is over 100 y.o. which we liked. The host is very welcoming and supportive and helpful. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We even changed our plan of the trip and for the last week come back to this place to enjoy again.

Place is simply great , it's a Home Stay, spacious and clean rooms, landlord Mr.Derick is very kind person and cooperative and helpful, he also guided me about the places to visit and popular eateries in Panjim city. I stayed for 15 days on work, and had a great stay.

I travel to Goa every year and usually stay in the north at Vagator, Anjuna etc. Since I had to stay in Panjim this time around, I was a bit sceptical about the stay and things to do. Fortunately, I found this guesthouse and decided to stay here. With a beautiful neighborhood with many restaurants and cafe's around, the personal hospitality of Derek Rebelo and a cozy, homely room, I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Panjim at a slow, quiet and cozy pace !!

We stayed at Vivenda Rebelo on our visit to Goa last week. Located in a leafy heritage precinct, the property is conveniently located with easy access to restaurants. The rooms are very clean with comfortable mattresses and clean bed linen. Rooms are equipped with a refrigerator and electric kettle, plates and cutlery. Complimentary breakfast was sumptuous and well prepared with a variety of choices. The host Mr Derrick Rebelo guided us to places which are off the typical tourist map. He is accessible at all times and very helpful regarding shopping around Panjim. We had a very nice time and Vivenda Rebelo is highly recommended for those who want to experience a Goa far away from the tourist crowds.

We visited this place in August 2022 and this homestay was perfect for us. The room and washroom was very clean. The room was also very big and comes with a teamaker and sachets of coffee, sugar and even stirrer. The locality is very peaceful and shaded by lots of trees. There are good restaurants nearby, particularly Bombil. Most importantly Derc, the host is fantastic with his hospitality. He would constantly help us out and give us tips regarding where to visit, when to visit.

A beautiful stay in Panjim. I felt like I am at home. Place is so peaceful, there are near by famous hotels to the room. Casinos are near by. we do not get to hear any vehicles noise. Thanks to Deric Rebelo, he is wonderful person, always there to guide tourist very kind. I enjoyed my stay

Most beautiful place to stay in , the rooms were old Portuguese style. With all the basic amenities , very cozy surroundings and comfortable environment. Mr.Deric is the sweetest person you will ever meet , he helped us in every possible way.would go back to the same place everytime I go back to Goa.

Nestled among original Portuguese era bungalows, this homestay is located in the prestigious Campal area of Panaji. It has everything desired for a homestay, peace, tranquility, cleanliness, comfort, proximity to the city of panaji/markets, surrounded by choice restaurants like Bombil and Fisherman's' wharf, walk to some beautiful parks and to the oceanfront. Deric Rebello is a caring, considerate super host, very friendly, who was always available to offer guidance and assistance when needed. The premises we occupied for 7 nights plus one was a spacious double room, one with a king bed and the other with a single bed, a cupboard with a locker, a mini fridge and an electric kettle and a beautiful covered outdoor balcony where we comfortably met and entertained all our relatives and guests in a controlled environment. Our host made sure it was always stocked with water, tea/coffee ingredients, toiletries and an electric kettle. We were lucky to have found this hidden gem and hope to make it our base on our future visits to Goa.

Derek is a great host and extremely kind. One of the few places which actually remind you of the Goa of old. Room was really nice and had everything that was required. If you want to experience authentic Goan hospitality then this is the place to book your holiday. What’s more most of the buildings in this area are heritage structures.
