Las Clementinas is a gorgeous, historic place to stay, but what makes it that way is the staff. They have the truest, kindest hearts. The owners of Las Clementinas are so fortunate to have such dedicated employees. Isabel's attention to detail is above and beyond. She was understanding and accommodating when we had to reschedule our trip, and she caught booking mistakes that I overlooked! She made the first night of our honeymoon so special, and even personally helped us find the perfect real Panamanian hat! Jahn made sure that we had the most memorable rooftop dining experience from Mahalo, and personally walked the food up the 4 STEEP flights of stairs with pleasure. The bartender at Mahalo makes hands-down the best mojito we've ever had (and we've had a lot). There isn't a place with more heart and soul than Las Clementinas. Enjoy!

Stayed here for a couple nights in July 2021. Great location, just don't forget to turn right on Calle B coming up from 9a Este and will be on your right at Calle 11 on Calle B, next to Mahalo...it's your first street and it will be a mess if you miss with all of the one-ways and street closures in Casco Viejo. Perfect location, we actually picked our rooftops where to eat from the rooftop of the hotel! (Too hot during the day to stay up there very long though, but nice seating and a great view). It's all stairs, so unit 3 was up 40 stairs or so, without an elevator. But once inside the "unit" you will feel like you have your own deluxe apartment in the city. Comfortable bed! Great food and drink outside on the patio too, done by the adjacent restaurant Mahalo, which also has inside seating. We also enjoyed walking west to Cafe Coca Cola and meeting some of the local Panameños. Also took the Taboga Express ferry ($24 r/t) to Taboga island for a day; perfect beach and $1 cervezas, and two beach chairs and umbrella were just $17. It was a great beach day. If riding metro trains or busses, make sure to buy a shield in addition to mask. Highly recommend this boutique "hotel."

My 2nd floor apartment at Las Clementinas was furnished with old-world European elegance. Truly gorgeous, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The hotel is easy walking distance to several restaurants and shopping. Management accommodated me for late check-in and very early check-out. I will happily stay there again.

Amazing historic hotel. Built in the 1930s, it still keeps its vintage, yet very fancy architecture. Every detail, from its secret gardens, to the beautiful tiles and old wood furniture, makes it a very special place. Do not expect an elevator though. With its double height rooms, it can be difficult to take your bags (or your humanity) up to the third floor. However, the staff is super friendly and willing to help always.

I love this hotel! Great location, clean, quaint, excellent service. I highly recommend. Stayed here for 4 nights in 2 different rooms (start and end of our trip) and no complaints.

We loved our stay at Las Clementinas. We stayed one night in the studio king, checked out for 2 nights while we visited San Blas, and then returned to apartment 3. It was easy to communicate prior to arrival to ensure we'd be able to store our luggage while we were gone. The location is great; the rooms are spacious and cool; the staff is friendly and helpful. We loved spending one sunset on the rooftop and relaxing on the terraces in the afternoons. There are some clubs nearby and we heard some music on a busy Saturday night, but it was not loud enough to bother us with the windows closed. Highly recommend this property for your Panama City visit!

Incredible experience at Las Clementinas! They made my mothers birthday celebration be so memorable. Thank you to Fabiola, Edgar, and the rest of the staff! If you are able to book the private dinner highly recommend Chef Carlos Lucas! Can’t wait to return

Good lunch spot. Has inside with AC and also outside garden. Service was good but a bit aloof. Food was good. Sharing dishes is also an option in most restaurants.

We stayed for one night. Very pleasant staff and rooms. However, the alert went off at 5 AM for around 30 minutes. The staff was immediately on the case & gifted us with some free breakfast for the inconvenience. Very fair and kind!

My stay at Las Clementinas was just about flawless. It could have started disastrously because my flight actually arrived at 2 in the morning, a time the hotel isn't normally staffed. But I reached out to Paola the manager and she was super friendly and easy to work with. She ensured that her employee Adolfo was right there on site waiting to let me as soon as I got there. Despite the late hour, he was chipper and helpful, and helped me get settled in right away. The "room" is actually an entire apartment -- dining room, living room, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, and bath with TWO balconies (one off the living/dining rooms, the other smaller one off the balcony). I was grateful for the size of the space because due to COVID lockdowns, I had to spend an entire weekend in it. Couldn't have hoped for better accommodations. The one thing that baffled me was that the apartment was actually chilly at times even though I put the thermostat up to 80 degrees (full disclosure: I run very cold and keep my own home at 80 degrees most days). But that was a very minor complaint for a space that was so comfortable with nice touches like a smart TV (just be aware, there's only 1 and it's in the bedroom) and a multi-outlet device right next to the bed that made for easy working in bed with a laptop or charging a phone. All in all, a great stay!

The apartment is beautiful. It had French doors that led to our own balcony. Doors are pretty sound proof. The staff was super attentive. The bed is SO comfortable. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to all the hot spots.

No longer Las Clementinas, Mahalo Cocina y Jardin is bursting with charm and the menu is fresh, light, well-executed. The service is OK and the bar can be very loud because of the beautiful tiles. All-in-all a very nice spot in Casco Viejo.

Fantastic, hidden gem in the heart of the old city in Casco Viejo. The suites are huge and the kitchenette is a big bonus. We stayed here 2 times between trips and also our main visit to Panama City. The AC is great and the balcony adds a nice touch for morning coffee. Bathroom is very well laid out with a massive walk-in shower. They are also nice enough to keep luggage if you're doing San Blas or Bocas. Note that there is no elevator and lots of stairs. It's also in a lively part of town so expect some noise at night. But, AC drowns it out. Very helpful staff. Finally, a nice bonus feature was they have a washer/dryer on premises. This was so helpful between trips and wish every hotel would provide.

Excellent place to stay. The rooms were quite nice. If you cannot climb 2 flights of stairs, I would not recommend this place. Elevators were not around when the building was built. Adding them would take away the historic charm.
