Me
and
my
girlfriend
traveled
down
from
Houston
county
AL
to
PCB
to
go
to
Culver’s,
before
realizing
they
also
had
a
Whataburger.
Truth
be
told,
I
had
Whataburger
before:
ONCE.
I
was
also
really
young,
and
I
only
ever
had
their
fries,
so
my
only
real
judgement
of
them
now,
as
an
adult,
was
this:
“they
have
good
fries.”
Always
wanted
to
actually
give
their
real
food
a
try
though.
I
honestly
don’t
feel
like
my
judgement
was
that
far
off,
though.
Whataburger
does
have
really
dang
good
fries.
But
I
also
ordered
a
triple
meat
cheeseburger
with
lettuce
and
onions
and
a
vanilla
shake.
My
initial
thought
with
the
burger
was,
“wow
this
is
big.”
Felt
like
I
got
a
really
good
deal.
And
then
after
taking
a
bite,
my
thought
quickly
turned
into,
“wait,
did
we
go
to
Whataburger
or
Burger
King?”
I
don’t
mean
to
knock
the
whopper
or
anything,
it
is
a
really
good
sandwich.
But
I
didn’t
go
to
Whataburger
for
a
whopper.
And
I
certainly
didn’t
pay
$9
for
a
triple
one
either.
You
can
get
2
whoppers
for
$5,
so
my
thoughts
of
the
burger
being
a
good
deal
immediately
disappeared.
That
said,
the
more
I
got
into
the
sandwich,
the
more
I
started
to
think
it
was
a
little
more
unique
than
the
whopper.
Not
by
much;
they’re
certainly
still
very
similar.
But
I
found
myself
not
getting
sick
of
it
halfway
through,
and
actually
wanting
more
of
it
by
that
point.
I
split
the
sandwich
with
my
girlfriend,
who
liked
it
a
little
more
than
I
did,
but
we
both
seemed
to
agree
that
it
tasted
better
as
we
went
along.
Maybe
because
we
started
incorporating
fries
into
each
bite?
Not
sure,
but
I
wish
what
I
experienced
during
the
last
half
of
the
burger
was
what
I
experienced
the
entire
way.
However,
again,
my
recollections
of
when
I
had
Whataburger
as
a
child
were
pretty
spot-on:
the
fries
were
great.
But
I
think
the
real
highlight
of
the
trip
was
definitely
the
shake.
The
flavor
was
good,
yes,
but
it
was
also
insanely
cheap.
Even
now,
over
a
month
later,
my
mind’s
still
a
little
blown
that
the
large
fries
and
shake
together
were
just
a
touch
over
$6.
Those
together
were
33%
cheaper
than
the
burger
alone.
I
think
I’d
rather
have
gotten
two
of
each
either
way
without
the
burger
either
way.
Lesson
learned.
Even
though
the
burger
at
a
place
literally
named
after
the
idea
of
making
you
go
“what
a
burger!”
after
trying
it
was
very
disappointing
and
definitely
the
lowlight
of
my
three-part
meal,
I’m
still
giving
PCB’s
Whataburger
a
4/5
for
two
main
reasons:
the
service
was
incredible,
and
the
shake
was
legitimately
that
friggin’
good.
Like
seriously.
I’d
pay
someone
$100
to
drive
me
up
a
dozen
of
those
from
PCB
to
Houston
county
AL.

you’re
