A
great
place
where
to
go
for
a
long
walk
or
a
bike
ride
(on
the
convenient
bike
lanes)
while
enjoying
great
views
of
Panama
City's
skyline
on
the
other
side
of
the
bay.
Also
great
for
ship
spotting,
being
at
the
entrance
of
the
Panama
Canal.
At
night
the
area
of
Perico
Island
becomes
lively,
with
most
restaurant
bars
and
kiosk
opening
in
the
afternoon
around
3-4
PM.
Bear
in
mind
that
there
are
trees
all
along
the
causeway,
but
they
provide
virtually
no
shadow,
so
it
can
get
very
hot
during
the
day.
A
number
of
sign
along
the
causeway
contain
interesting
tidbits
of
information,
historical
or
cultural,
about
the
causeway
itself
and
they
are
in
both
Spanish
and
English.
