👍👍 This monument was developed to honor the chief engineer who developed the Panama Canal. Amazing history here, I recommend taking a guided tour through the panama canal, that includes a stop here at this historic monument.

👍👍 A great place where to go for a long walk or a bike ride (on the convenient bike lanes) while enjoying great views of Panama City's skyline on the other side of the bay. Also great for ship spotting, being at the entrance of the Panama Canal. At night the area of Perico Island becomes lively, with m...

Metropolitan Natural Park Visitor Center

👍👍 A relatively easy hike on well-marked trails. $4 per person, and you get a wrist tag. The young man at the entrance office was pleasant and spoke English.
The butterfly house was closed for maintenance (July 1, 2021) but we could see some butterflies flying around inside.

Crazy Park Panama
Amusement park
👍👍 Nice place, fun for the kids. I think its a little bit expensive, $20 will only last for 30 to 45 mins or so. But it is in a mall, so thats how it works typically. Somewhat small, but a good selection. Overall, good fun, not overly expensive, and really nice and friendly staff.

👍👍 Great hike! It was raining pretty hard when we started but the paths are well laid out and taken care of. If you like a most strenuous hike start out to the left of the playgroup area. This is medium but it’s up stairs most of the way. We did the 3 mile loop and really enjoyed it but it was not a be...

👍 We rented a car from Playa Blanca to Panama City. We left pretty early in the morning so it only took us about 2 hours to get there. Coming back was a different story. We hit rush hour and that was quite the trip. Unless you are an aggressive and good driver I suggest that you do not drive in Pa...
