Staff are rude and is clearly visible that they do not come from standard families. Especially the slim lady (Anita) at OPD thinks herself as PA of Governor. Her day is saved being a lady else would have easily been taught a lesson how to speak with people. She has no proper work attitude and treats patients as if they are here to irritate her. My only concern to the management please change her or give her some lessons on basic manners which are taught at primary school.

Situated at Panchpota, a little distant from New Garia, this hospital deals with cancer only. The SS processing and following formalities are done discreetly here. The doctor we took counsel from, is a good listener, sympathetic and always at the other end of the line. The Help Desk personnel, SS guys, nursing staffs, ward boys are exemplary in their behaviour. However, still, this hospital deserves a staggering low rating just for the inhumane treatment by the SECURITY PERSONNEL. This maybe the first hospital in my knowledge to have guards doing whataboutery at the door - first of all - why a hospital is not open for everyone is the primary question. The ones at the front keep asking the same question even one revisits him multiple times a day, indirectly harassing, stopping, delaying what could be easily avoided keeping in mind , that it is indeed a hospital. One just does not come to roam a cancer hospital. The pain of one's dear one's bereavement already goes through prematurely in their minds, and when everyone else is realising this basic , why aren't they ? Official complaint against them would yield much unnecessary noise , they should not occasionally stop and behave authoritatively towards people for whom the institute runs.

It's the best place for cancer treatment in Kolkata. Dr. Ashish Mukherjee literally decided his life for this institution. Couple of years ago one of my acquittance was treated here and had a major operation. He was 63 years age then and almost no hope of survival. Today he is working on the field for farming activities. Most importantly the entire surgical procedures was done for almost free - took help of the government schemes available for cancer patients..

Visited atleast twice every month since december last year for my uncle's treatment. I wish they'd increase their back office team and followed a better system. Had to wait till 4-5pm each time despite reaching there by 6am. Very disappointing!

This is a worthless hospital i have ever seen in my life.They are only misusing SASTHO-SATHI CARD and making Patient fool as well as patient's family members.they are creating a trap to increase the BILL AMOUNT. No clarity i have found in any tests done on my patient.Management occasionally comes for the verification but they never communicate with the patient or with the family members. The Behavior of all the staff is very poor. They dont even give proper medicine to the patient but they are doing the billing and charging for the same.Only i found DR.TANMOY KUMAR MONDOL fully supportive and helpfull and who understand the pain of a poor people. Finally,i like to say this hospital is purely doing business with the patients.

He single handedly saved my mother who was suffering from very rare blood cancer. Initially I bought her to Bangalore in 2008 where after 1 month of diagnosis St Johns Hospital Bangalore said it is likely MDS but they weren't sure. We took her to Dr Ashish Mukherjee when someone said he is one of the promising hameoto oncologist in Kolkata. Dr Mukherjee looked at the blood report from St Johns and immediately said it's MDS - only in MDS does all 3 blood count falls together. as a procedure he did a bone marrow test to reconfirm. This was in 2009 when Dr Ashish Mukherjee was operating out of a small dingy 4 storeyed building in Park Lane. But the place was small, the staffs and doctor were very passionate. We still decided to fly my mother to Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai. Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital Mumbai couldn't handle her case for over 1 month and we brought her home after signing indemnity Bond , with high fever due to an unknown infection. The TMH doctor had prescribed high dose antibiotics costing RS 22000 each - 11 doses. She was put on the flight to Kolkata after 5th dose when she got little steady. From Kolkata airport we took her directly to Dr Ashish Mukherjee. Dr Mukherjee readily accepted and went through the reports from TMH. On 2nd or 3rd day he removed the Rs 10,000 catheter that TMH had unnecessary put to push medicine without injection pricking. Dr Mukherjee said the catheter from TMH was the source of infection. In 3 days her fever subsided that too with normal antibiotics. Then Dr Mukherjee started her on medicine course for MDS and after lot of permutations of medicines she is now free blood transfusion. She is cured , in the word of Dr Mukherjee. I have never seen any doctor so dedicates that he himself died without good treatment. He was just mad for his patients. I referred two of my acquitances to Dr Mukherjee for cancerous hameotogy problem they are stable and nearly cured. Dr Mukherjee was nearest thing to God for me. I still regret that I wasn't there in Kolkata when doctor passed away.

Four Star for the Hospital and 5 Star for Dr. Anupam Datta. Dr. Anupam Datta treated my mother for the last 2 years. She had a relapse of Leiomyosarcoma, in multiple organs so, when Dr. Datta took the charge, she was already in a critical condition. Dr. Datta is very responsible, has great patience, and also has strong medical ethics. I would recommend anyone to consult him in related oncological problems.

This is a neat and clean hospital. My father was suffering from colon cancer since 2015 but after going through chemotherapy + biotherapy, he is absolutely fine now. Dr. Asish Mukherjee is not only a medicine oncologist but also have vast knowledge on any kind of disease. Surgical medical board is also experienced. Outdoor is cheap but indoor is costly. But good for those patients having 'Swasthosathi Card'.

last few months we are being doing treatment of my uncle in this hospital, as the doctors are very supportive at every part of the treatment specially Dr. Sasanka Sekhar Das ( have to mention his name). but a complaint which I genuinely have is regarding the staffs of reception and the Mediclaim ( CGHS helpdesk) department, their behavior are really very horrible and being very rude and rough without any valid reasons. They actually do not give any importance to the patient guardian. but ya we have had a great communication with the doctor and our patient is really satisfied with the treatment.

I come to take treatment for my mother of breast cancer from Dr. Bodhishotto Roy but they force me to take treatment from Tanmoy Mondal. He do not see my mother and write kemotherapy. In 2022 my father was diagnosed with colon cancer at netaji cancer hospital garia. Dr. Soumen Das saved my father's life. My family is forever grateful towards him and nsc team.
