This place is a little off the major highway. If you are traveling via NH6. Take a detour to Panskura town. The location can be easily navigated via Google Maps. Incase you think you are lost always talk to the locals they can guide you. Heads up. The inner roads leading to this place is not that good. 4 wheelers have it difficult to go through certain sections. But yes the roads are motorable. Things to do. 1. You can spend sometime there taking photos. 2. You can also collect small flower bouquets (handmade and freashly hand picked). 3. You can also collect small saps for your own plantation. There are big open spaces. So you can even have small family picnics if you want. Incase you are visiting this place do buy something, which will contribute to the earnings of these local people. Since they work really hard to make this place Blooming with flowers. Best time to visit from 2nd / 3rd week of December to 2nd week of January. Try avoid going on rainy days since then traveling to this place will be a seperate experience.

Several villages in Panskura block of East Midnapore district are well known for flower cultivation. One of them is this Dokanda-Khirai valley. Hundreds of families here make a living by cultivating different types of flowers on both sides of Kangshabati river. They cultivate flowers such as marigold, rose, dahlia, aster, snapdragon, celosica, daisy etc. Apart from enjoying the pleasant environment here, you can collect saplings, flower bouquets directly from the farmers. But remember, these flowers are the livelihood of the farmers. So, don't harm plants and pluck flowers indiscriminately while vlogging or taking selfies.

A great place for flower lovers. Awesome place to organise a one day trip with friends and colleagues. 1. Take a local train to khirai 2. From station there are many ways to go there. You can take a Toto or can take a walk about 10 minutes. That's it . Best time to visit is in December and January. Enjoy !!!

A must visit for flower lovers! The road from the national highway needs to be broadened and a proper parking lot needs to be built. If the local authorities are looking to make a quick buck from city dwellers they might as well invest in the infrastructure.

It is a beautiful valley of flowers - a delight to eyes for all the nature lovers. The garden of roses and marigold are worth seeing. You can buy flowers (single, bouquet, garland, crown, etc) from the farners. It is a request to all the visitors - PLEASE DO NOT PLUCK FLOWERS. It is livelihood for the farmers. Also remember not to stamp on the flowers while walking on the narrow passage between two fields. Vegetables (cabbage, cauliflower, etc.) are available in affordables rates. Lots of food stalls are available outside. Again its a request not to throw packets, bottles, etc. in the fields. Khirai is the next station to panshkura. From station, toto/auto/cars are availavle to reach this flower valley - fare of all these vary based on the season. From december mid to february 1st week Khirai is best to visit. Go and visit and soothe your eyes for a couple of hours.

Beautiful valley of flowers , perfect time for visit should be December mid To February Mid, if you are visiting by car then parking space is available for Rs.50/- (for whole day) , few temporary fast food and meal stalls are present ,bht quality is not that good , so recommend everyone to bring home food if possible. Please dont litter the area and keep the environment clean 🙏🏻😀
