Condition a bit run down despite charging for entrance fees. Apart from the tomb, there is the Mahsuri well, traditional music performance, traditional Kedah houses, a muzium and brief history about the Mahsuri legend. They have a nice pond full of carps outside the entrance.

My second visit since the last one in the late 90s. The museum exhibits related stories of Mahsuri and the history of Kedah. All farming tools, weapons & some fossil are well preserved. However, information can be more in depth, elaborated & interesting. Performances on Gamelan Music and traditional Malay folk songs singing are presented, there's also a brief performance on Wayang Kulit. Merchandise on Langkawi souvenirs, T-shirts & packed snacks are located at the entrance & exit, making the mausoleum more of a market. As a Malaysian, I truly wish the local cultural authority can improve this place which is full of heritage.

This should be a place about the legend of langkawi, the mahsuri and her cursed to the island. However I found place is a tourist trap, pricy entrance fee (rm12), not much information about the history, rather more focus on selling merchandise. The malay music performance maybe attractive to some foreigners, but performers were not put much attention on the locals

This place is badly in need of a major overhaul and renovation. Everything looked like it was made in the 80s and nothing was being done after. There are groups of live performances inside which I felt sorry for as they had only a small trickle of audiences given the sorry state of this place. There’s an entrance fee of RM12 (for Malaysian Adults). The museum is named after Mahsuri herself yet the items displayed in there seems like a hodge podge of everything including the cosmos which got me quite confused as to what exactly this museum is supposed to be all about. I hope they do something about it as it’s such a shame to see it disappear along with the rather interesting legend of Mahsuri

Most of what you'll find inside are replicated scene & few, well, unrelated yet relatable to the story of Mahsuri. There are major upgrading going on yet the tomb is still in it original form, minus the wall...

Admissions fee for Malaysian Adults is Rm12 quite pricey. Overall place is OK to learn about Mahsuri history and clean surrounding

Third time here. Like the place due to it's historic events. Like the wooden houses.

It consists of stories of mahsuri and her mausoleum. I personally think that the entrance fee is a little too much for the content.
