Came for a "single hood" dinner ,follow the Italian style I ordered starter ,main course ,dessert ,and of course.....red wine. Overall the Quality of the ingredients is awesome, especially the Main Course & Tiramisu ....is another level. The dining experience definitely worth the price.

The best Italian restaurant in Malaysia (or probably in Asia)! The food we tried are amazingly tasty and their service & hospitality are great. We wanted to eat lobster pasta which we ate at Gallo Nero few years ago, so I asked the owner to cook it again before visiting. He found our lobster and cooked it for us!! That lobster pasta is still the best pasta dishes we’ve ever had in our lives! We usually go to Gallo Nero everyday while staying in Langkawi. Thank you Lorenzo and the team. We’ll definitely come back soon! *That lobster pasta is our special request and must reserve the lobster. *We are back to Gallo Nero after state borders are reopened. This place is still the best Italian place for us. Everything is fresh and really delicious. We enjoyed their food both dine-in and takeaway. 3 course lunch set is now RM48 with add-on RM15 a glass of Prosecco (reasonable and delicious!). Better to book your table on dinner time because it’s usually very busy and fully-booked.

The offered lunch set lunch is delicious and reasonably priced. Good ambiance and good customer service by the staff and chef. Highly recommended if anyone at Langkawi

Authentic delicious Italian fine dining that offers more than pasta and pizza. The service is really friendly and attentive too. I love love the tuna steak. Though I do think it could be a little more raw to be more tender but it's probably how people are used to here. An overall wonderful dining experience that I didn't expect to find in Langkawi.

Perfect place for dinner! Love the atmosphere and exceptional dishes! The lamb rack was just melting in my mouth. And one of the places with delicious and strong negroni!

Basically the food is quite good!!! I like Grilled Baby Octopus and Seared Scallops. The lamb shank is soft and tasty for those who love lamb. Tiramisu dessert is too sweet for me, and no alcohol inside. It’s so sadddd!!! About cocktails, the tiramisu martini contains lots of caffeine and sugar, so it’s not for me. But the aperol spritz is so fresh!!!

Food was surprisingly excellent, the duck was great, crisp & juicy; Penne Pesto was awesome, truly Al dente; both starters were fabulous too especially the Burata; thumbs up to the chef. Tiramisu & gelato pistachio was a tad off though

Great food and the service was warm and welcoming too. We were lucky to get a table for two when we walked in at 715pm.

Nice Italian restaurant, probably the best in Langkawi. Good choice of food, feels original, high quality ingredients. The place is located 5 mns away of the airport, near Smith House hotel.

When we arrived at the restaurant tje waiter warned us that it may take some time until we get our food, because they were hosting a larger party. I‘m very grateful that he was honest with us from the beginning. While we waited for our food, we never has the feeling that we were forgotten. The waiters and waitresses took good care of us. The food itself was very delicious. Really worth a visit.

Nice staff and that’s it. Nothing to do with an Italian restaurant. The ‘burrata’ was actually thawed and dry mozzarella. The ravioli some kind of tasteless dumpling. And the tuna, dry and bland. Standard food with nothing remarkable.

An absolute must visit for Italian food in Langkawi, Chef Lorenzon and team makes the best Italian food on the island, served with love and passion! Located not too far from the Langkawi Airport, a great place to dine!

Went to this gem of an Italian restaurant for lunch and got their lunch set meal. Dishes were amazing, authentic Italian food. The wait staff was very polite and made delightful conversation with us. Highly recommended this restaurant if you ever visit Langkawi.

Warning: book. Or at least call.Your chances with an opportunistic walkin are slim because this restaurant is probably one of the nicest in Langkawi, even if oddly located. Authentic italian cuisine, served with a smile in a nicely decorated setting. Menu is very oriented toward seafood, but cuisine is very good and nicely presented. Choice of wine by the glass exceedingly narrow, but the only red available, a Merlot, was surprisingly good.

We went looking for a late lunch after landing in Langkawi. It is near the airport and we decided to eat there. The lunch set menu had 3 courses with 3 choices each for starter and main for MYR 38. Boy, the food was good! It turned out to be the best restaurant we had in Langkawi. A must go the next time you are in Langkawi.

Good experience here. Food was good overall but personally think my pasta was too creamy, can be heavy. Other than that, bread, octopus (starter), fish (main course), tiramisu were tasty! Staff was very attentive and sang birthday song for my bf’s birthday celebration. We also got a free tiramisu for birthday celebration. Thanks for making us a memorable day!

Good italian food and strong drinks - make sure you make a reservation so you don't miss out. Owner is Italian & they were able to make vegan accommodations despite it not being on the menu. Would definitely visit again.

A spectacular Italian restaurant serving the most authentic Italian dishes you can find on Langkawi Island, if not the rest of Malaysia. Food was authentic & exquisite, for a good 1-2 hours it sure felt like we were in Europe Staff are very friendly & professional, and on occasions the head chef/ owner also may step out to greet the patrons as well. Definitely a memorable fine-dining experience in Langkawi. 5/5 would visit again!

Absolutely fabulous restaurant! Food quality was truly divine! All fresh made and flavour packed! Service was fabulous! The chef even came out to say hello after we complemented his food so much to the waitresses! The lamb shank was the best we've ever eaten (and we're from London - land of food variety!), pasta was delicious and the dessert was literally fresh made. We had to wait for it (was told this). Was so worth the wait! Coming from London, we thought it was very well priced!

Really great service and amazing Italian food. We are European and really loved the food. Limoncello is also very tasty. Would recommend to go!

It’s my first time eating at an Italian Restaurant so I don’t have very much to say but it was good. Place is clean and food presentation is just 💯 with the price I paid. We took the 3 course set (RM38/Pax if not mistaken) because I honestly don’t have a preference so lesser option is good.

The tiramisu martini was delicious. A huge fan of the fish and the lobster pasta as well. Rib eye was cooked well with a great sauce. Excellent service and wine selection.

15 of us were celebrating our 60th birth year in Gallo Nero and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lorenzo and his staff are very friendly and the food was superb! Highly recommended...

The food is so good here. Warm breads, really good main course. Ordered steak, lamb shank (so so tender) and chicken leg. Except the chicken was a little undercooked. A tad sad that pasta wasn’t available, otherwise it would have been perfect!

Had a great meal here. Atmosphere was great and the staffs were attentive. Taste wise, we have no complains and it is good. Definitely a must visit if you wish for some Italian food on the island.
