We ordered vada pav, kothimbir vadi and Thali peeth... This place is overhyped... Vada pav is Rs.20 and size of vada as well pav is very small compared to price.. and vada is too oily.. Price of kothimbir vadi and Thali peeth is 60Rs... you will get only 6 small piece of kothimbir vadi .. taste is good of both the dishes.. As this place located on highway, you can stop here for refreshment. Washroom facility is also available. Washroom is very clean as well as hygenic..

They serve hot and tasty snacks. Taste of missal and Vada pav is ultimate. Sitting arrangement is good. However during peak breakfast hrs place might get bit crowded.

This is a dual outlet of famous Shree Datta Snacks, one in front of the another, on opposite sides of the road. (Old Mumbai-Pune Highway) (A new outlet is opened just opposite to the original outlet since older one used to get overcrowded.) Both the outlets are famous for the Maharashtrian Snacks it serves. Parking: In spite of the big parking area, getting vacant parking can be a big task. Washroom: Available at new outlet Food: It has varieties of snacks - Sabudana Vada, Sabudana Khichdi, Vada Pav, Kanda Bhajji, Batata Bhajji, Moong Bhajji, Misal Pav, Thalipeeth, Kothimbir Vadi, Mutter Patice, Pohe, Kharwas to name a few. Service: It is a self-service outlet. Most of the time the place is crowded and first you will have to be in a queue at the payment counter (Yes, it's a prepaid outlet), then to collect your order & wait to get a vacant table. Service sometimes feels slow & mismanaged due to lesser staff. Verdict: It's a good option to try varieties of Maharashtrian snacks, if you have considerable patience to tolerate a waiting time. Suggestion to Management: (Management needs to work on improving TAT in “Kitchen Operations” & at “Payment Counter” as well. Spending 30-40 mins in wait for QSR seems impractical. Overall waiting time shouldn't be this long for any such outlet. I saw many cars leaving the venue after seeing the long queue.)

After road widening this place has bit shrunk in size. But nevertheless the original taste remains same. As always we had our ever favourite piping hot tasty Vada, sabudana khichdi, spicy misal. Now we can enjoy the snacks in seating corner.

The new outlet with seating arrangement is a cleaner, better one than the original as far as ambience is concerned. It has got decent toilets too. Ideal for family and kids. It's a self service outlet. One needs to pay first and taken the coupon to order your food. During rush hours, you may have to wait a little but service is quick. Often few items are not available at all times. Good food quality and this place is popular for traditional Maharashtrian snacks like Vada pav, Missal, Kothimbir vadi, Sabudana Khichdi, Upma, Poha, Kharvas. Food is freshly prepared in an open kitchen. Sandwiches and bread items take longer to prepare so in case you are short of time, go for Traditional snack items which are quickly served, for which this place is known for.

Nice place for having snacks like vada pav, misal pav, kothimbari etc. This is quite an old, very well known place, now they have made a new structure across the road with high ceilings and a modern open kitchen, where you can see them making your snacks. This place attracts lots of people who are crossing that highway on their way to Pune, Goa or Alibaugh. They have good options to order from, you have to pay first and take coupon and then pick up you food from the kitchen counter. It has seating capacity of aprox 50 people. It's a nice clean place, with clean washrooms and washbasin. Food is nice, lots of options to choose from. Prices are decent, little costlier than road side food kiosks but worth the price. One of my favorite place during monsoon, as love driving there during rains.

This is a must stop when you are crossing the panvel exit.. Either towards Pune to goa. You can enjoy local maharashtrian snacks at affordable rates. Now they have opened a bigger shop which has ample space and a washroom too.

Very neat and clean snack place. Excellent maharashtrian food. Pure vegetarian. Have restrooms. No tissues or hand dryers in the restrooms. Snack thali gives you a taste of poha, upma, vada pav, sabudana khichdi, kothimbir vada. Super duper sabudana vada, soft inside, extremely crispy outside. Good butter toast. You get fried thali peeth also. Bhajiya, misal pav ... Parking may be an issue during peak hours.

This a fast pace restaurant mainly for highway travellers. So it's not at all a fancy place. The chaos itself is the characteristic of this joint. The quality of snacks especially the Vada Pau is very authentic. Along with Wada Pau we enjoyed the Kandi Bhajjee, Sabudana khichdi & Kotumbir wadi. Admire the way the servers handle the volume of order they receive without messing up. We got awesome service with a smile by Ram in the kitchen. He remembered our order well. One has to have patience to enjoy the food.

This is the best place to have Maharashtrian snacks at the perfect location. It is situated on the Old Mumbai-Pune highway at the junction of Pune n Goa route just outside of Panvel. Their best dishes are Misal-pav, Kothimbir wadi, Thalipith, Wadapav n Tea. They serve all dishes fresh n hot. Their service is also fast and prices are also very reasonable. They've started their new outlet in Foodmall on Mumbai-Pune Expressway before the ghat starts. Absolutely recommended...

It's an well known spot for breakfast while travelling Mumbai - Pune . It is located near palasphe phata . Well known majorly for vadapav which is quite good in taste but I have also tried it's poha , khichdi, misal pav . Taste is never compromised here . It is compact hence has issues for seating . Depending on the crowd the behaviour of staff changes . Felt quite arrogant .

Have variety of option like vada pav, misal pav, sabudana vada, poha, bread pakora, etc. This place is known for it's Vada pav and misal. Do try if you happen to passby from here. It's little inside from the route to Mumbai Pune Expressway but would be worth trying it. Recently Shree Dutta snacks also opened behind which I think is franchise of shree dutt snacks present in Mumbai Ahmedabad highway.

Food is good. But takes time to prepare. They don't have washroom in the establishment. Delivery takes time. We have to wait almost 15 minutes to get 5 vada paos. Attaching photo of menu.

It's worthless place to eat any item. Misal pav is disgusting Kothambir vadi has no kothambir in it No taste everything is bland. Bhajji is over priced with no taste at all. Tea is nightmare full of water Over hyped place

New place opposite to earlier restaurant at Panvel is good and spacious. Somehow, Misal was not as great as it used to be earlier. I had it after atleast 4-5 years but still remember the earlier taste. The curry seemed to be diluted. Buttermilk and Kothimbir wadi was awesome.

This is their 2nd outlet which opened on the opposite side and has a big seating area too. Much more comfortable as you can order and have your food on the table. The quality is same, vada pav is the best followed by misal pav. They have kept the pricing same.

  • 4/5 Omkar P. 5 months ago on Google
Good marathi style food, they even serve kokam sarbat and taak, its a self service snacks centre and the taste of vada and thalipeeth is great

  • 3/5 Ganesh D. 7 months ago on Google
Pretty average place to be honest. We ordered Misal Pav: 2 stars out of 5. Very average quality and taste Wada Pav: 3 stars, decent enough Kothimbir Wadi: 3 stars Kharwas: 4 stars, not very sweet, just like how I prefer. Hygiene and cleanliness is the worst. Needs to drastically improve in that factor. Visit only if needed, otherwise skip this place.

Very old food joint with Very tasty maharasrian snacks. But request for good services. Serving people were bit arrogant, unable to control crowd. Vada ,bread and other stuff very offered with bare hand without wearing gloves. Tables at sitting area and hand washing place were very dirty, help yourself attitude.

Scrumptious Marathi Manus meal. There are tons of option Misal Pav, Vada Pav, Kanda bhajji, Batata Bhajji, Alu Vadi, Kothimbir vadi, juices and lot more. Location is a bit tricky as both new and old joints are situated at the opposite end of a one way street.
