It's used to be called "Guangzhou Crocodile Park". Now it's the "Chimelong Birds Park". If you love birds, you will definitely like the place.

Massive improvement since reopened. It just to used to be a million crocodiles. Now there are many different types of animals. We took my daughters here in her 12th birthday with 5 friends. Entrance fee is ¥100 per adult or child over 1.5m. Childten below 1.5 are charged ¥70. We spent 5 hours and saw some amazing animals. Excellent photo opportunities. The favourite for all was feeding the baby pigs. That was pretty awesome. The pig swimming races are fantastic fun. So exciting and the staff handed out 5 placards number 1 to 5. My daughter was given the number 2 placard. And number 2 pig won. How excellent for that to happen on her birthday. We ate some food in the cafeteria. Obviously there is Chinese food, bit also western food in smiley faces and chicken nuggets. So everyone was happy. The Italian ice cream is excellent. ¥38 for a double scoop. The toilets are mostly traditional Chinese, but you can find the western ones if you hunt. The crocodile show is a bit rubbish. Our gang of kids, aged 9 to 12, found it a bit cruel and distasteful. I am proud of that and the fact that at such young age they have ethics and understanding that animals should be treated well. We spent less than a minute before we went off to see the swans. When we left, I noticed that there was a line of taxi's waiting to take people away.

Guangzhou crocodile park is world largest crocodile park. It has been classified as China first group of AAAAA scenic areas. Guangzhou crocodile park also houses dozens of rare beautiful wetland birds. With over 100 thousand crocodile the park is the largest amusement park in the world. It consists of seven different areas and bring the guests an astonishing experience.

Now it's called Chimelong birds park, but there are crocadiles there too. The best way to get here is by shuttle from the main park. Cozy and interesting place.

Guangzhou Crocodile Park opened in 2004, covering thousands of acres of land. It is a comprehensive theme park integrating crocodile viewing, popular science education, ecological farms, and various animal performances. It is also the largest in the world. The crocodile farm has nearly 100,000 crocodiles, accounting for more than 70% of the country's total crocodiles. The park is divided into seven activity areas including the knowledge popularization area, central interactive area, growth display area, happy amusement area, and leisure business area.

Lovely place to visit went there with family had a lovely time

Although it is not very big, you can get close to different birds and pet them with your own hands. In fact, the birds here are mainly birds, with crocodiles/small animals/plants as secondary ones.

A very nice park, a park owned by Chimelong. It is very suitable for a family trip and a wonderful place for a weekend vacation.
