Overall a nice place, nice decor, has huge potential even though it is still busy. For the whole table everything was there but something missing or something under par, poached eggs should have runny yolk (not hard), chicken and waffles over cooked, Wagyu Burger should be juicy, do I cross the highway to many other cafes or do I come back and try again…..

We visited Urban soul for a valentines lunch date with hubby. We were after a steak and or lamb but what was served were delicious 😋 lamb burger and fish and chips. We love it. Wished that upstairs was open. Other than that we enjoyed. Thank you Urban 😊

Great place. Special area for kids. Ideal for a family event. Highly recommend the Steak. A must-taste dish!! It was cooked to perfection 💯💯💯.

Very popular spot in the weekends. We came with a group of 15 on a Sunday morning and you definitely need to book ahead. Our orders were taken promptly and food didn't take too long to come out. Good size portions, value for money and excellent coffee as well. I would recommend it if you are out this way

We were absolutely delighted with this cafe. The customer service, the staff, the beautiful aesthetic and the food was absolutely perfect. The chicken and rostis were perfectly crispy and moist at the same time. The combination of flavours was magic. Highly recommend AA++

A great scape to have a good meal!The place was quite full and they delivered the plates fast! Two Chicken Waffles, what I really recommend. They also have natural juice. The place is modern, spacious with clean bathrooms and nice car park. The staff were very gentle and friendly.

Food selection is amazing. Only tried the roulade, which was nice, but simply may require some more salt when cooking to bring out the flavours. Look forward to trying it again sometime.

We decided to visit this cafe in Karaka as they said that it is known for quality food, great coffee and friendly customer service and flagged as one of Auckland’s Best Cafes. We went there for Saturday late lunch and everything seems fine. We don't have reservation but we're able to find a table. Staff is friendly. We ordered Nasi Goreng, Urban Soul breakfast and drinks. The issue started when they delivered the food to our table and surprisingly, that's not our order. Then they served as the drinks, but still - not our order. My husband and I we're talking and didn't notice the time passed by and we still not have our meal. So I went to the counter and made a follow up. They served our drinks but no food at all. I made a second follow up, the staff looks surprised - went to the kitchen to check. Finally, we got our food! Yay! Looks like they didn't prepare our order until I followed up. (for whatever reasons). Too bad. In fairness, the food is good and tasty. Price is competitive. Our experience should have been better if we didn't wait for almost an hour for our food to arrived.

This place looks great and has a perfect spot for a brunch activity. We've ordered hot drinks and a couple of items on the menu. My attention was immediately drawn to the sunrise bowl. Our food arrived 15minutes before our hot drinks and my sunrise bowl looked more like a winter sunset bowl - a few pieces of prefrozen fruit and very badly blended warm yoghurt for $18. I was not impressed and will unfortunately not be going back.

Nice place, clean, and spacious. Food was pretty good, but not amazing. Chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy. They have surcharge for holiday and also credit surcharge.

First time here and the experience was really nice! Friendly staff, great food and great atmosphere. We sat outside as the weather was great. Overall experience lived up to expectations. Thanks everyone who served us :)

Cosy Environment and Wonderful Menu for Dinner The morning cafe is a nice bistro at dinner time. Cosy atmosphere and wonderful menu. The decor was warm and inviting, and the lighting created a relaxed and intimate mood. The menu was simply amazing. There were good delicious options to choose from. I tried the pork belly, and it was absolutely delicious.

Nice place for brunch and yummy hot chocolate. Their chocolate milkshake and pancakes are not overly sweet so it is a good choice for brunch especially when paired with toasties and chips. We ordered large hot choc but a tiny glass came so not sure if the order came wrong or that's their actual serve. While talking and eating, staff wanted to take our plate away (that still had food) so on the third attempt we gave up. This made it feel rushed considering it was a reserved booking. Perhaps an alternative would have been to check if we needed water or wanted more items. Normally, having the plates cleared is a good gesture but it all depends on the approach. Simply wanting to take the plates away without asking if we are done eating is a bit rude.

Staff, Service was amazing on our visit both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Food was lovely, cakes would suggest some would be more enjoyable warm in microwave for a few seconds. Even the Aperol Spritz was Devine.

I ordered an almond flat white which was delicious. I also order a large almond ginger Chai. This was disgusting. You can see in the pic it looks like watery tea and tasted even worst. Not a latte! It was so hot I burnt my tongue on first sip. They knew it was supper hot that’s why they had it in two cups but I could see that there were two cups until I look the lid off. Wasted money, wasted time and came away feeling disappointed.

Very busy lunchtime. Food was average. I had the chicken waffle and it wasn't flavorful. Could barely taste any spiciness from the chipotle sauce and the chicken itself. Chicken was however perfectly cooked. Wagyu burger was okay, too. Bit too pink in the middle so wasn't able to finish the rest. Beetroot latte tasted more of cinnamon than the beetroot.
