It's great in the fact it's open late and on the weekends. Just know it is really just a urgent care. There's only so much they can do here but if your pet needs attention right now and it's Sunday or later at night then it's a great option. If your pet ends up needing something they can't handle, like a surgery then just know you may have to find someone who can. But for what they can do they were great when our dog needed them. The staff was helpful and understanding during a stressful time.

Used them a few times over the years. Just recently had to use them for my new puppy who tried taking a treat from another dog. They were very nice and got us in immediately. Very thorough! Thankfully it wasn’t too serious but I knew he was in good hands.

Brought my male cat in. They gave me an itemized list for a blockage in his urethra with the cost and they were honestly probably cheaper than the vet I would’ve taken him too (since it’s where I usually take my dog to). They kept me updated on everything through text. From how he was feeling/doing that day to any procedures being done that day and how much he was eating. This was the first time my cat has been away from home since he was 8 weeks old and while he didn’t want to eat much for them, they tried a variety of options to get him to eat rather than just giving up. I loved that they sent a photo of him as well. They were so helpful and now he’s doing so much better and is so happy to be home. I’m happy I didn’t wait any longer to take him. The staff was very friendly and walked me through every step that they’d need to do for my Ollie. They’ve been very helpful for my pets and my parents as well. I’m sure they don’t remember but they were very helpful when I came running into their clinic with my mom a few years back holding my family’s limp black lab in my arms after she had a seizure. While she did have to be put down (from old age), they were very quick to get us to the back and supported us as we stood by and said our goodbyes. I’ve had nothing but good experiences from this place and will use them in the future. Thank you guys for what you do!

Our kitty had been nauseous and vomiting for over a day, with his health history I called and was given an appointment soon after. From arrival to leaving the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very sweet to my boy. He was also very comfortable with them which tells a lot. He was diagnosed with a UTI and taken care of. He is already feeling so much better not even 12 hours later. We will definitely come back if needed in the future. Prices were also very reasonable and everything is discussed up front by the doctor.

I am from out of town and was visiting family with my dogs. One of my dogs started to show UTI symptoms so we swung her over to this urgent care right by my parents' house. They were very clear and helpful while checking in and made sure to look up what vet in central NE my dogs usually go to so they could communicate the records to them after the visit. During the visit, the doctor's assistant and doctor were super professional, friendly, explanatory, and thorough in answering any questions I had. They made sure to explain what they found and show all the pictures and results from testing. We were in and out in less than an hour and my dog is resting comfortably at home with a proper treatment plan. The emergency prices, while still more expensive than a regular vet visit, are still cheaper than what I pay in my smaller Nebraska town for emergency services. The team also did a great job explaining what they were doing and how much it would cost before they did it. I wish that this vet could be my animals' regular vet. I definitely recommend this clinic--it was great!

I had to bring my dog in for complications after his neuter. They were all very kind, helpful, caring and you could tell they genuinely care for your pet. They listened to my concerns and were as accommodating as possible with our financial situation. It never felt like they were trying to milk more money, it was all about taking care of my sweet pup and making him comfortable. I hope I never have to go to pet urgent care again, but if I did, I would definitely choose this animal hospital.

Urgent Pet Care truly came through for me and my sweet girl. This facility was so knowledgeable and reassuring in such scary times. The team quickly brought my pet back and started treatment while ensuring I was informed every step of the way with treatment plans and outlined costs. Not only did the doctor call me frequently with updates but CONTINUES to do so after her discharge and work vigilantly to arrange follow-up appointments. No pet is falling through the cracks here! Overall the best experience and could not be more grateful to these amazing individuals!!! 10/10 would recommend.

We want folks to know about the service at UPC of Papillion. From start to finish they were courteous, helpful and professional. That is the staff out front, the VA and the Veterinarian. Very impressive. We love our vet but won't hesitate to use UPC of Papillion again if circumstances necessitate pet care!

Incredible service! Brought my 11 year old lab mix, Stella, here yesterday. Each staff member was so kind and helpful. They were able to find answers and get my sweet girl on the mend. So thankful and would highly recommend this location.

The urgent pet care in papillion saved my cat’s life. He became severely ill when i returned home from work one night. The next day I took him here and the vet working had explained he was suffering from chronic asthma (which my regular vet had told us was just allergies), an upper respiratory infection and they had also found out he was having heart issues unbeknownst to me or the vet he regularly sees. They were very understanding and accommodating during such a stressful and tough few days, broke down exactly what was happening with each x-ray and test they completed, and provided me with an itemized bill and lengthy invoice so I knew what was happening and why everything on the list was needed. He stayed in the urgent care overnight and the staff were very communicable while he was there and even sent photo updates letting me know my baby was okay. They were unable to pinpoint the exact heart issues my cat was having but gave me references to a specialist who would be able to further assist me. There is no where else I would recommend taking your animal for emergency care. Thank you guys for everything you did and treating my baby like one of your own!

Had to take my kitty, Sunny, here recently and was so impressed with the entire staff. From the front desk to the whole medical team, I knew he was in good hands. The doctor was reassuring but straight forward with me from the get-go which I really appreciated. The updates throughout the day and overnight were so helpful for this worried fur mama. I would hope to never have to go through what he went through again, but I know if my cats need help this is where I would take them again no hesitation.

I have unfortunately had to bring my small Pomeranian here twice after being attacked. Dr. Starks does amazing work and communicates with you through every step of the process. They have text me updates and responds to calls/messages & answers questions quickly. I cannot recommend them enough for your fur baby emergencies. Thank you guys! I appreciate this team so incredibly much.

Had to bring my puppy in after a cat attacked her. She had eye injuries and needed surgery to repair. She was in great comforting hands for her and I. She received amazing care. Staff is compassionate and knowledgeable.

Amazing staff. Unfortunately we did not get the outcome we had hoped for and the staff took their time and supported our family. When it was time to pick up peaches ashes we were surprised by all the extra items that came home with her. We will cherish them forever. Thank you

Accommodating and prompt care. Everyone here couldn't have been more kind and helpful. Gave me an appointment first thing Sunday morning after my dog hurt himself jumping. Thorough plan of action and clear care instructions. Reasonable cost especially for urgent care. I'm very thankful. Edit: They even checked in a few days later to see how he was recovering. Wonderful service.

Recently had to rush our cat to Urgent Care due to inability to urinate. The vet office tried a catheter but was unable to do so. Urgent Care took him right in and after getting him checked in, we left and about 15 minutes later we received notification that the catheter was inserted and our cat was doing well. They were very upfront with the price estimate that must be paid in advance. We received notification at regular intervals about the cats status. He received excellent care and as we were out of town at the time, I knew our Beans was in very capable and loving hands. I won't hesitate to recommend Urgent Pet Care to anyone that may need emergency treatment for a family pet.

I wish this was a regular vet I could take my dog to for check-ups! We had to take our dog here for kennel cough a year ago or so, and then he recently got bit. The staff were extremely friendly and patient with our beagle asking lots of questions to make sure they get it right. The doctor even sat on the floor with Bentley the whole time and gave him compliments :) for a minor bite and medications, the total was less than I expected too.

From the initial phone call all the way to picking up my dog, this experience was impeccable. They scheduled my emergency appointment because they know that my animal would be more comfortable waiting at home rather than a waiting room with other ill or injured animals. As soon as we arrived for out appointment we were seen. No waiting no fuss no mess! Prices were discussed up front prior to any services rendered. Any responsible animal owner should know you should probably have $500-$1000 set aside for emergencies so no surprises there. They took my buddy and gave me a time to return. They called me when he was ready for pickup. It was seamless, the staff (every last one) was upbeat and with their full game on. On the 4th of July holiday. They all seem to love their job, they all knew their stuff!! To who ever work and own this place you all deserve a pat on the back a hug and a raise. I hope and pray I never need you again but if I do I am 100% without a single doubt coming here.

I brought Zack my 9 yr. cat to the Urgent Care after he exhibited behavior that I thought may be a serious condition. I was so impressed at the care Zack received. The staff was very efficient, but very friendly and helpful with any questions I put to each of the staff. I was kept informed about how Zack was doing and the staff made sure I understood what they found after examining Zack and their suggested plan of care. Very thorough care. Luckily, Zack's condition turned out to be very treatable and he was able to leave after our visit. Very Professional, but caring staff. Thanks again to all the staff for treating Zack!

Excellent customer service, I had an emergency with my 14 year old senior cat Sharapova and my regular vet was booked. I called Urgent Pet Care and they got me in immediately within an hour of my call. I explained cost was a concern because I'm currently unemployed and they were very upfront and honest about pricing as well as options of treatment. Lucky, after test/lab results it was just an issue that could be solved with medication. Sharapova gives Urgent Pet Care five paws 🐾 A few days later she is back to being her happy self! ❤️

Oliver, My French bulldog puppy, had emergency surgery over Memorial Day weekend after eating a makeup sponge. The prompt care and attention we received was outstanding! I received text messages and phone calls throughout the night with status updates. The pricing was very clear and fair for the emergency care my puppy needed. I would use them again without a doubt and highly recommend them!

It is never a fun experience when you need to make an emergency vet trip. However, urgent pet care made a traumatic situation as tolerable as possible. Our reactive rescue pup cut his paw and needed stitches. Given that he is reactive, taking him to the vet is very stressful (for him and us). It is even more stressful taking him to a new and unfamiliar place. Urgent pet care handled our pup so well. They sent us a text when a room was ready so we could bring him straight into a room. They asked us about his reactivity and what his triggers were. They were very receptive to our dogs needs and did not test his tolerance. Mac never went over threshold during the time we were with him. They were also very kind and treated our dog with kindness and assertiveness and not fear. This whole experience was definitely the most positive it could be under the circumstances. Thank you for taking care of our special little man.

I can’t thank Dr. Holbrook and the rest of the staff enough for their amazing care. I brought my cat Lenny in and Dr. Holbrook did what our regular vet and another emergency vet refused to do (put him under and actually look in his mouth) and was able to finally diagnose him with cancer that had progressed too far to be treated. She helped me make the best decision for him and let me be there while he was peacefully put to rest. She was so empathetic and caring. The cremation service they use is also fantastic. The whole experience was as good as it could be considering they were helping me through my worst nightmare.
