One unique place to visite if you are close to tambor area, you feel home when you meet the owners, it worth the experience. If you like silence beauty and horse riding, don't miss fidelio Ranch.

😊 - Quitness, well equipped kitchen, cleanliness, nature, spacious facilities. ☹️ - Internet access is extremely limited to a small area and the speed is low. We were given so many instructions of type "don't do this, don't do that." Honestly, it felt somehow harrasing. Including the fact that there was an occasion when we left the room and the A/C stayed on; someone (Brigitte?) opened the room in our absence to turn the A/C off. That actually offended us! They don't accept payments with cards, which is very old school, especially for a tourist place, and even illegal in CR. Last but not least, I had submitted this same comment in Booking.com; however, someone (Brigitte?) requested deletion, which I don't understand why, as everything I'm stating herein is absolutely true. Probably that's the reason why all comments in Booking.com are positive.

A wonderful place to stay amid the tree tops! Bridgitte and Leon are excellent hosts. In the forest among the birds and the monkeys and yet very near beautiful Tambor beach. Our children loved it, playing with the dogs, horseback riding and learning about the beautiful farm.

perfect farm stay for our family of 5 (kids 7,8 and 11)!!On our way coming from Tamarindo. Kids loved the horses, cows and farm dogs. The owners have been super supportive to make best out of our 2 nights stay. Brigitte helped with tips for trips to local attractions Montezuma and Banana beach (both around 30-45 min) and made it possible to havea 2 hour horse back riding for our riders, During that time the rest got a special farm tour with the owner Leon. We picked fresh lemons from the tree and visited the cows including two new borns. The whole stay feels like visiting friends at home. We sit together at breakfast and in the evening. The guests are international. During our stay there have been families from France, Canada, Costa Rica and Colombia, which is no surprise as the owners are fluent in English, German, French, Dutch and Spanish. Highly recommended if you want a farm stay in that region. Cross fingers we can make it back one day! Thanks for hospitality
