If the price feels too good to be true it is! This establishment is more of a motel resort vibe. It probably was at one point a nice place but it’s now rather run down and dated. The man at the front desk who checked us in made it clear he didn’t want to be there either. And when we came back to our room we found some unsolicited new roommates (see photos). All and all we did flee and recommend you just spend a little more and stay at literally any other hotel. Call the customer service you suggest? Absolutely useless! They want to sweep this under the rug with absolutely no attempt to better or rectify the situation. These photos are not up to date, don’t get catfished by this roach motel.

Most of the rooms here are okay, nothing special, nothing bad. I thought the Presidential Suite would be amazing, but that was not the case. After receiving my digital key, I found out the hard way that it only works to let you into the courtyard/private pool and not actually for the room itself. The room is at the very back of the property but fortunately has an outside phone, which I used to contact the front desk. They promptly sent someone to bring physical keys. Once entering, I was impressed with the amount of space, but was quickly reminded all that glitters isn’t gold. From a semi-clogged toilet with rust/blood colored permanent stains on the toilet seat in the master bathroom, to ants roaming throughout the kitchen, cigarette butts in the courtyard and doors with gaps large enough for desert reptiles to fit through, there was a lot lacking in maintenance, upkeep and attention to the Presidential Suite. I kept the place extra clean to avoid attracting additional ants, even emptying my own trash multiple times despite no trash cans being near my room. While the staff was generally amazing, one specific staff member seemed bent on ruining the experience. As a gold member, typically late check-out is allowed. After requesting a 1pm check-out, I was initially told by the Manager on Duty, Amy B., that the hotel didn’t allow late check-out for the Presidential Suite. I pointed out to her that on my day of check-in that the previous guests hadn’t left due to late checkout and I had this in writing. Then she said this was a special situation, which again was vague. After not being able to explain what that meant, her story changed to it being the Director of Housekeeping making the decision. I asked to speak with the director and was denied. I was told that “He will just tell you the same thing so there is no need to talk to him.” If only Amy would put an equivalent amount of energy and attention into improving the condition of the room as she did in creating falsehoods, the Presidential Suite could actually become worth the money to stay there. Never again…

Rooms are dated...They're up-selling for things that should be standard (Natural lighting)...Doors to room do not close without excessive force...Customer service is "nice-nasty" (Responds to basic questions with hospitality industry nomenclature). Toilets look like they were installed in 1985. Furniture is scuffed and damaged. Conference rooms are nice. Shuttle service is provided complimentary. Rooms smell clean. No servers at the pool. Kid friendly/budget friendly

Trust the negative reviews. This resort is not as nice as it seems. No upgrades for diamond or gold members. They claim the resort is fully booked when it clearly is not. My first morning, no hot water, cold shower. Spoke with front desk and they didn’t seem to care. They begrudgingly switched my room. My new room was a downgrade from the previous room, with an outdated bathroom and bathtub. Even worse location. Food is waaaay overpriced. $30 for a tiny portion of salmon, rice, and broccoli. Breakfast buffet is of the normal fixings at $22. At breakfast I was offered coffee from a dirty cup then offered a new dirty cup. Finally they were able to locate what appeared to be a clean cup. Unsure if it actually was. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

My friends and I had a great stay here! I don't know the name of the woman that checked us in, but she was amazing! She gave us a list of restaurants in the area and added her specific recommendations, which were super helpful. We love that you get warm cookies and water bottles at the front desk (and we were told we could grab more whenever we wanted)... such a treat- the cookies are so good! The pools (and hot tub) were great with pool towels readily available. The parking is nice and convenient to wherever your room is located. Our patio didn't have an amazing view of anything, but it was still a nice thing to have in the room. Beds were comfy and we all slept like babies. The Starbucks in the hotel was a huge plus for the mornings. We didn't use the sports court/ golf/ restaurant/ fitness facilities during our stay. We had a great time and were happy that we chose this hotel for our girls trip.

I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. I thought due to the price along with the location that this would be a nice hotel but that was not the case. The outside landscaping was gorgeous, however the rooms and bathrooms were incredibly outdated. Stains on the walls, chipped paint on bathroom cabinets, dirty old carpet. We had to walk an incredibly long way from the lobby where we checked in all the way to our room in the 4000s section with all of our luggage and baby. The pools were weirdly gated off with black metal gates not creating a welcoming, community, relaxing environment. There was only one server/ bartender at the pool bar who was incredibly inundated, so each order was the last thing he wanted to take care of. On top of that we were charged a pool bar service fee of $9.72?? We were also charged a resort fee of $10/ day just because we were a part of a group?? I wanted to get some snacks so I went to the front desk only to find out that they did not have a 24hour market with food/ drinks/ personal items- they did not have a snack bar at all. There was also no continental breakfast. I am extremely dissatisfied with this Hilton location and will never return.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. We get to the hotel around 1am after a long travel day to find out that they were fully booked and did not have a room for us (anyone see that scene from Seinfeld about “keeping” the reservation vs just “taking” the reservation? I felt like I was living that moment). It was fine, they said they had some maintenance issues with some rooms and had to move some people around, and I do understand that happens. They offered us a room credit and booked us at another hotel a mile down the road and shuttled us there. This also meant, though, that we had to move BACK the next night which is just annoying with having to pack back up, managing the hours between check out and check in, holding bags, etc. But again, trying to remain understanding. We get back to this hotel the next day and check in. The room smells like dirty mop water and the heat does not work. They eventually sent someone to fix the heat (40-50s overnight temps) and the smell went away after airing the room. The next morning I attempt to order room service with the room credit only to find out there is no room credit and that they don’t take orders over the phone and that I would have to use the QR code in the room. I let them know that the code took me to the menu but there was no way to order. They didn’t seem to have an answer for me. Which I guess was not an issue because I wasn’t planning to do that if I didn’t have a room credit I was promised for our troubles. I eventually find my way to the lobby after they offered me an hour later checkout (after some haggling because they wanted to charge me $100 for this) and the coffee shop/market is closed…at 1pm? Just bad luck, poor communication, terrible experience, and the property isn’t even that great. You have to walk so far to get to the rooms and it’s a maze to find and they are all outdoors like motel style. Never again.

Those double tree was amazing! Gorgeous property with several pools and fountains which were accented by pristine landscaping. Providing a very relaxing atmosphere even with the loads of Superbowl chiefs fans celebrating their victory in the bar near the lobby. The staff were fun and excited to see each guest and had the hotel decorated for all the Chiefs fans when they arrived back via shuttle bus from the stadium. (I was here for work not the Superbowl) it was fun to watch how the staff were so excited for the fans and went out of their way to make it an unforgettable experience for them. The rooms are spacious with clean and modern deco style. Beautiful wood ceiling with large beams held to the AZ style with a large glass door opening to the pool area. Fantastic place! Highly recommend.

Although this place is beautiful and typically we have a great time, we had a terrible experience. We were there during the weekend and had a large amount of money stolen. We are sure it was an employee, maintenance. We were walking out of our room when an employee asked if we were headed to the pool, we said yes (thinking they were going to direct us because we looked a little lost). We made it to the pool and instantly turned around because we left our water behind, when we tried to open the door the inside latch was blocking it. We called for help and they came to help us get it open, when the employee was helping he said it happens all of the time, so naturally we thought nothing of it. It took me a day and a half to finally get a call back from the manager, with the news of no video or way to trace it. Although I shouldn’t have had cash, I never imagined an employee would take it. Most of the fault is mine for being trusting but your employee knows better. And as for the resort, stay there with no valuables or don’t leave your room. We worked very hard to be able to take our daughter to the dance competition just to lose it there. An employee walked away with our money and gets away with it, crazy.

The wife and I really enjoyed our stay! The staff were exceptional and knowledgeable. Super kind and professional people. The gym was our favorite!! Huge with everything you could possibly need. Great job there!! We did notice that the smaller swimming pool had black stains on the bottom of the pool.....but we layed next to it for hours and swam in it anyway!!! We will definitely be back.

The rooms are in serious need of an update. But my complaint is about lack of customer service. The room we had the first night had a thermostat that didn’t work, so our room was freezing. The internet and phone also did not work. When we asked to be moved to a different room, we were told the hotel was full. When we asked for additional blankets, we were told the front desk staff didn’t have access to the closet that contained them. We spoke with three people at the front desk the next morning who assured us the issues would be fixed by the end of the day. They weren’t. But we were finally moved to a different room. On our last day, we asked for our room to be serviced four times before they finally brought us fresh towels at 6:00 pm. When we asked for an adjustment on our rate because of all of the issues we had, they offered to waive the $30 resort fee for one night. But the resort fee was on our bill when we checked out. This has to be the worst customer service I’ve received from a hotel in years. Update on 11/15/23: the hotel replied to my review and stated the resort fee for our entire stay would be refunded. It wasn’t. I’ve tried to contact them twice with no response. Dishonesty or incompetence? You can be the judge.

We came to Doubletree Resort as attendees to a convention. We had group rates because of that. The room was on the ground floor, pleasant, and large enough to have enough extra space to be comfortable. The patio faced the pool, but the room was quiet, and had sun darkening drapes. The bathroom had extra dressing space with a large mirror which was helpful. The closet came with a safe. I reported the room door, which did not close completely and therefore was not secure. There were no security gates separating ground floor rooms from outside areas. Parking was free, except for valet, and not too distant. We did run into some attitude and possibly deception with the valet. Since we were parked close in, we opted for no valet parking or luggage help, but we had to ask for their help to secure us a luggage cart. He said he had to unlock the door where those are kept, but we found out later that this storage area does not lock. He was disgruntled when we did not tip. We managed to avoid him for the rest of our stay, which got off on this unpleasant note. It's a large resort and we spent some time learning how to find our way around. Room hallways enter from the patio, so one goes outside to find their hall. There is a restaurant featuring three meals a day, a grab and go, and patio dining. There are two swim pools and another water fountain feature. Extra space is provided to relax with friends, coffee or drinks, or privately on the grounds. The grounds are lighted attractively at night. During the morning hours, yard crews are at work near the outside patios. The convention space is generous with room for breakout meetings, and dining and/or party space related to one's group. There is a gym, but I did not find a sauna. There are three housekeeping plans for guests who stay multiple nights, or it is possible to decline completely. One should not expect daily housekeeping, unless specifically requested. I noticed some lack of attention to detail, that I found surprising at a resort of this standing. I also noticed some unhelpful attitudes. Upon checkout, review the charges carefully. We put a meal on our room tab and ended up being double charged.

The resort is lovely with lots of nice outdoor spaces to enjoy the sunshine, whether you prefer to relax poolside or in one of their green spaces. Lots of outdoor seating for dining was also available. My hotel room was fine, but in need of some updates. The toilet sounded like it was going to take off and fly away every time it flushed. The water for the shower took a LONG time to get hot and the pressure was quite weak. The patio door was difficult to open and some tiles on the floor were broken. But the bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. The meeting spaces were very nice and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was a little overpriced, in my opinion, and I was disappointed in the hours of the Starbucks on site. Overall, the resort is very nice and I would definitely visit again. The minor things in the guest room were the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Great hotel! Rooms were updated and very comfortable. A/C was very cold in August which was appreciated. Staff was friendly. Bar got busy about 6:30pm but food came out quick and the boneless wings were very tasty. Pool was fun and not crowded at all in the afternoon and at night on a Thursday. Breakfast also came out fast and was tasty.

Not safe to stay here. My husband and I just checked out today. We were having morning devotionals when someone entered our room, and the only reason the person did not come all the way in was because of the mounted door latch we had put on the door. My husband immediately ran to the door to see who was trying to get in our room, and they had run off. We get that the hotel wants no responsibility if something happens to the guests cars while on property, but the hotel must take all responsibility for who has access to the rooms. If this had been maintenance or housekeeping, they would have knocked first and announced themselves, or would have waited for us to open our door. Since this was not the case, we can only assume that someone has a master key and is allowing themselves access to guests rooms. When brought to the supervisors attention, they said they would bring this to upper management and would contact us within an hour, and they have chosen not to. We shouldn't have to feel that we need to barricade our door at a HILTON property.

I visited the Doubletree hotel for a conference and I must say there is something they are doing right! I want to recognize Peter in the engineering department. He went out of his way to assist me as I frantically prepared for a meeting. His random act of kindness and compassionate service is exactly what makes guests want to return to this hotel. It’s about the people and how well they treat other people! Come here for the exemplary service and the smile.

Kayla at the front desk was extremely professional and gave was a warm greeting. The lobby is large and inviting. The rooms are spacious with good lighting and the air conditioning worked well even in the 115 degree heat. The water pressure and lighting in bathroom was good and there was plenty of counter space. The room had a patio with sliding doors and opened to a garden area. If you are mobility impaired be sure to ask for a room near lobby. Getting to the rooms is a maze and unloading your car can be challenging. There are two quite nice pools with ample seating and shade. There is a bar by one of the pools. The bartender closed the bar at 4:00 although we were told by front seat it was open till 6:00. He was quite abrupt and when we asked about the price for a double rum in our pina colada (I couldn’t taste rum at all on the one he gave me” he said “it’s Scottsdale mam,$9.00”. The dinner in the restaurant was average, but the salad was fresh and delicious.

Was here for a convention. The rooms were comfortable and the resort was beautiful. They have 2 separate pools, and the lighting and ambiance at night were very relaxing and pretty. Additionally I accidentally left my SmartWatch in the room as it had fallen under the bed by accident and once I realized that evening, I gave them a call and they were able to locate it and they shipped it to me the same day, the staff was very helpful.

This resort couldn’t be better. The property itself is pretty, and there are great amenities. The breakfast was great. As this was my first time in Arizona, I felt right at home thanks to Terrance and Philly. Philly made me feel welcome and gave me water bottles and anything else I needed very quickly. The entire staff was so nice and were very professional.

Horrible. The initial room had no heat. Suffered the whole night. The following morning, I was told there was no other room available for the day or night and was forced to stay in a room that was filthy with large stains on the carpet, stained towels, and no heat. Maintenance went by twice. The second time couldn't fix the heater. Magically, a room opened up after the heater could not be fixed. Was also told I would not have to pay the resort fee during my stay due to the inconvenience, later to find out it was only the night I was borderline hypothermic. The grounds have trash everywhere and in need of some gardening. More like a one star resort.

This was absolutely the WORST doubletree I have ever stayed at. It was overpriced. The rooms smell musty. The pool was not heated. Do not go in the hot tub if you like your swim suit. Mind was complaining bleached. We were told there was a bar with light food out at the pool. It was not open. They said ot was open on the weekend. It was not. We lost all of our food and beverage credit. The shower did not work. So they gave us s new room. The heat did not work in the next room. They sent maintenance. We had one roll of toilet paper for 5 days. It took them 45 mins to bring us 1 roll when ours ran out. No one cleaned our room upon request. We had a stack of dirty towels on the floor for our whole stay. We had to go to the pool area to get clean towels. The manager Brian told me that he fully explained our food and beverage credit. He did not fully explain it and then he had the nerve to say that he asked me if i had any questions and I said no. Well I didn’t have any at the moment. I was given 10,000 points for these issues. Not nearly enough for the troubles I endured. This is in no way a resort, and paying a $30 resort fee is ludicrous. ZERO stars.

Beautiful hotel with great pool and clean rooms. Food and drink options within are wanting though. If would be nice if the restaurant still had some breakfast like options in the early afternoon since mot even the coffee shop stays open. It closes at noon which is way too early, so if you’re expecting to grab a coffee before you afternoon flight don’t count on it. But all the staff is lovely and its much cleaner than the double tree in glendale. The spa is also closed.

Our stay was a short weekend trip and first time visit to Scottsdale. The location was great to see the sights and travel to the nearby cities/towns. The weather was just right for the time of year. We just missed the 100 degrees. They have 2 pools - one family and one with bar next to it which is great. Kind of pricey for an older property. Staff were friendly, Alphonso "Philly", is a super star, the bellhop gentlemen were super helpful and the cleaning staff were great even when their English was limited!! If on a trip with friends or family and cost can be shared it would be a good place to stay.

I had the best time here at the DoubleTree for the Thanksgiving weekend. It was my first time I've ever been to Arizona and this hotel did not disappoint! The hotel on arrival provides fresh warm cookies and water, when I got to my room I loved how spacious it is with the wooden ceilings, I was close to the parking lot, had a patio to myself and lots of greenery. The pool was so good I went in everyday. They have two pools onsite and a hottub. The food was to die for! I tried many delicious meals and the staff was always so friendly. They also have a HUGE gym (largest hotel gym I've ever been in) with lots of equipment, weights and cardio. They also have a basketball and tennis court. I will 100% return again and I highly recommend this hotel! The staff are so friendly and made my experience above and beyond.

I have to say I was disappointed . This place has the size of a resort but is far from it. Rooms are outdated even tho they attempted to make them more modern . Rooms are over priced and so is breakfast . Most places breakfast is free. Not much to do at the place but swim and eat food. No activities at all: Seemed short staffed in all areas as well. Room was not cleaned when asked . I puke have gave more stars on service if it would have been cleaned. Only pleasant thing out of my stay was the pool and the over night shift . Kris, I believe his name was..: was super nice and gave me more waters and cookies ! He was helpful. Last time I stayed was a few months ago. A brunette helped me and was nice too. She was not there this time . But I remember her red glasses and professionalism . I will only come in the summers when prices are super low.

Absolutely loved my stay here both times. The front desk staff member Sal helped me both times for a super late check in, and he was so kind!! I really appreciate good customer service, and every single front desk agent was wonderful - Kailyn was a sweetheart. The rooms (I stayed in two different ones) were both very clean, with comfortable beds. The resort has lots of great amenities. I see lots of notes about outdated rooms, I didn't find that it was an issue in either of my rooms, they were bright, airy and I was very happy with my stay both times. Thank you, and if I'm ever in Scottsdale again - this is where I will be staying! Sal is a gem, he made me smile when I was having a very rough night - I really, really appreciate it.

I learned a valuable lesson during my stay here: I must purchase a new mattress! I slept so well on this property's beds! It felt like my back decompressed fully, and I grew 5 inches. The property is phenomenal all around. There's a pool, hot tub, rental car services, a Starbucks, and a basketball/tennis court! Did I mention this hotel has everything? The hotel is a ride-share away from the most "popular" tourist attractions; walking isn't in the cards here. Their warm, soft, and fresh cookies could fix anything worth complaining about during my stay!

A huge resort with lots of amenities rooms are really outdated. I was not expecting this from a four star hotel especially not a Doubletree standard. However, the bends are really comfortable. Bathroom was completely out of place. Staff is super friendly. They accommodated us with welcome gave us cookies water bottles And area map with some great dining options. It is located close to the big mall, hotel offers free shuttle around the city up to 10 PM which is a great. Overall, it is good place just for the location. I would like to give a big shout out to Veronica, who was our receptionist host. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Paul in food and beverage was very accommodating by having champagne and chocolate covered strawberries delivered our room. However when the cork in our champagne broke off and he came with a replacement bottle and had the same issue and informed us he was going to have to discard the entire case of champagne, I wondered how long this champagne had been laying around. Also, why didn't he leave us the replacement bottle at no additional charge. Room is very outdated and weird layout. Most of the lights did not work. Showers are better at Red Roof Inn. Grounds were very unkept, leaves and debris and bird poop everywhere. Waited at front desk quite awhile while we could hear staff giggling and carrying on in the back. Eclectic, random furnishings in the room from the '70s. This is far from a 4 star resort. Won't be back.

The place is massive, it is easy to get lost here. The lobby area is very nice and area to do work and sit down with friends to chat. There is a bar area, and they let us watch the World Cup game when USA played. The rooms were decent, not great condition, but not bad. We were here for a soccer showcase and it was a hotel that could accommodate a large group of 4 teams. We didn't use the pool or gym. Overall, decent stay.

Super pet friendly resort! Perfect place to chill with your little furry friends. Pretty mini resort. It’s not a tall building style— kind of interesting. We visited during the Easter weekend and there were lack of staff for sure. There was steam sauna at the gym but no staff were there and saunas weren’t working at all, which was quite disappointing. Still enjoyed my stay overall and would recommend for pet friendly resort. :)

Property is not new, but very comfortable. Great access to pools, food and drink. Couple of staff in particular were great. Daniel at the Azure poolside bar is very friendly and helpful. Also, Jessie in the Made Market/Starbucks was fantastic. Saw her work a couple of mornings and she kept things moving smoothly by herself, even when customers were being less than understanding about their wait. Highly recommend this property.

Super nice resort! Clean, friendly staff, good drinks, nice pools! Our door to our room kept swinging open all night long though even when we would make sure it was closed and when we would lock it? That was weird, but other than that good stay!

Resort was clean and the grounds are beautiful! There are multiple pools and plenty to do without even leaving the grounds. The staff are all super friendly. It's close to plenty of upscale and cute, small shopping centers with lots of fun, local dining. We had a fabulous time!

Check in was fine. A slight mishap but not a big deal. Staff was all helpful and friendly through our stay. DoubleTree cookies are always delicious. The property itself is beautiful. Neat architecture and the grounds were well manicured. Room is spacious but pretty standard. Bed had definitely had some serious use in its life. As far as a resort goes, this hotel is not. Nice enough pool but there is no drink or food service and seating is crazy limited. A small bar sits just outside the pool area, but hardly enough to boast as a resort pool. Pool is open late which I like, but like all open late pools, had a fair share of obnoxious drunk people to stay away from. We only tried the On-site restaurant for breakfast and it was very bad. Literally it is the continental buffet most Hilton brands offer for free but was $22! If I were to stay here again it would be because of the beautiful property (and would need to be a really attractive rate) but will not be expecting a resort style experience.

An amazing hotel to stay at. Went for a conference and it was a stunning outdoors. Light bulbs are strung throughout always and the gardening is phenomenal. Rooms are very nice and clean. Service is superb, always welcoming and willing to help with problems. There was one issue I had with the baggage holding area - I stood waiting 10 minutes for the bellman to get off his phone in order to check my bags into storage.

Absolutely gorgeous resort! Beautiful pool with waterfall. Rooms are huge and beautifully designed. Nice bathrooms. Our room had an absolutely peaceful balcony with an amazing view. Comfortable and cozy beds. Nice little restaurant with delicious food. I would love to go back and visit again!

This resort was very nice for the 5 nights we stayed. We had a great check in and the room was clean. The grounds were well kept. It's a beautiful garden full of lights, plants and cactus right out the doors of the lobby. I read reviews about how the grounds were unkept and I witnessed what they were talking about, BUT leaves fall from trees. It's a weird circumstance how it happens but I witnessed plenty of grounds crews cleaning every day. The pool was well kept and we got to experience the pool bar when the weather permitted. We utilized the sports courts and ventured to the secondary pool where the hot tub was. My wife loved having a Starbucks on site. The breakfast buffet was amazing, though we didn't eat any dinner meals there. Rey was an amazing bartender and I appreciated all his hard work. We utilized the shuttle that would give us rides under 2 miles. The only downside I could think of, is that there are a ton of conference rooms so the resort is more of a business gathering place than a vacation resort. But with that being said it is up to you to make the best of this resort.

We stayed there over the weekend with our kids. The best part is the pool. It’s a great pool. Made my kids super happy. But the AC didn’t work well and it was 111 degrees outside. Our room was at least in the high 70s if not low 80s the entire time even though it was set to 62. The drains were clogged and gross. There’s mold in the sink. And the WORST part is my daughter left her favorite pillow and blanket on the bed and it’s been awful to attempt to get it back. I’ve called three times. Left two messages with the front desk staff. And no one will get back to me. We live 3 hours away so I can’t just go in and get it. And obviously this is our mistake, but it shouldn’t be that hard to check if a pillow and blanket were found in a room the day we left the hotel. I can only assume they got rid of it and don’t want to call us back and let us know. A while back, I stayed in a hotel in Paris and my daughter left her stuffed animal. They shipped it the same day I called, back to the states for me, free of charge. And yet this place I can’t even get to call back. Such a disappointment. I had higher hopes than this. My daughter is devastated.

Excellent resort location for a Scottsdale vacation. Conveniently located right off Scottsdale Road north of Fashion Square and Old Town, this property is close to the action while still feeling secluded. The resort has 2 pools and multiple restaurants on site that kept us entertained even though it was raining during our stay. The rooms are also spacious and private with patio/balcony areas overlooking the beautiful grounds. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

This hotel was great in the service, staff, location, pool area, outdoor space but the shuttle service was FABULOUS and worth the stay alone. They took us everywhere within 2-3 miles AND picked us up! Everywhere we wanted to go was within 2-3 miles so it was perfect! AND it was FREE!!! Saved us tons in order Uber costs! The rooms were comfy and large. The bedding was so comfortable. The room (mainly the bathroom) could use some freshening up but it was clean and smelled nice so no real complaints. Greg, the shuttle driver, was very friendly and informative. I can’t say enough about the shuttle service.

This resort is beautiful! The exterior, lobby, rooms, pools, and common areas were amazing. The only negatives I have is that we called the front desk multiple times for more towels, and never received them. Another negative is that one of the receptionist caused my group to be charged an extra $133 to our Avis rental car receipt (Avis is located in the lobby of hotel). The receptionist told us that she can take our rental car key since the Avis employee was not present at the time and she will return it to the Avis employee and assured us she will give it to the employee right away. But unfortunately she did not… instead she placed it in the Avis return box, causing us to be charged for an extra day since it did not get to the employee on the day of our drop off date!!!!!! The receptionists need to learn the Avis rules so people aren’t in my position. So a warning to all other Avis car renters, hand in your rental key directly in the hands of the Avis employee!!!

DoubleTree is a beautiful resort and the rooms are very cozy and clean. My wife and I stayed here for our two year anniversary as a way to celebrate and enjoy time away from our everyday lives. However, we quickly noticed that despite the cleanliness of our room, there were a few things that bothered us. We had a leak in our bathroom sink, the outside patio wasn’t super clean and had quite a few bugs hanging out there, and the WiFi and television didn’t seem to work properly. I’m giving a four star review for our initial experience, but holy cow if i could, i would give a ten star review to the front desk receptionist, Alonso! We politely told him our issues, seeing if there was any way he could accommodate us and he was extremely professional and friendly with us! He went above and beyond to make our stay infinitely better! I really hope the managers of DoubleTree read these reviews because I was blown away by his people skills! Thank you Alonso!

This hotel is awesome! The staff go above and beyond the call of duty to help you. Lucy at Starbucks is awesome, as is Alonso at the Front Desk. The rooms are great, and the Health Club is VERY nice with a steam room and sauna as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a room that didn’t feel dated, it is an older hotel but my room was very spacious. Hotel had a small gas leak in the Kitchen that caused the kitchen to be closed. Not ideal for sure, given their food was very limited - they did communicate the situation well. Falls in the category of $hit happens. I’d stay here again when the location meets where I need to be.

Meh. ==Pros:== - large rooms - good pools for family and kids: 3 ft all around the edges, and about 4.5 ft in the middles - clean rooms ==Cons:== - hot rooms: full blast AC running 24/7 still feels a little too warm - fridge didn't get very cold - clogged shower drain - outlets on the left side of our right queen bed don't work - top outlet by the table doesn't work. I had to unplug the lamp to use my computer - expensive - buffet breakfast is $22 per person per day
