Great facilities surrounded by peaceful greenery. The hotel is situated right by the Kuru Ganga, enhancing the scenery and allowing for a good swim. Plus, there is a natural pool. The lobby area is located alongside the river with good space for gatherings. Rooms have great facilities and are spacious and well maintained. The food was also good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommended.

A peaceful place. Natural pool and river is giving a superb experience to visitors. They gave a wonderful service. Foods are better than we expected. Overall a very good experience.

A nice place relax in Kuruwita with a calm and beautiful surrounding. They provide excellent service by their friendly staff. Food is delicious and serves on time. Food menu is very good according to the price. You can enjoy at swimming pool and also at the Kuru river near the downside of the resort. Not only , also we enjoyed with a Bamboo boat(Paru) ride. And also Rooms and washrooms are very comfortable.

Went for a day out with 25 people by bus.route can be accessible by rosa bus.They have provided two rooms for us.Area is not large enough to do outdoor or indoor games.pool is clean and large enough.rooms are huge.they have five rooms.Bit expensive compared to five star hotel dayout packages.Food is average.

I can give 5 star rating to this hotel. We went our MSC trip to this location yesterday. Parking available. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean and well maintained with quality fittings. Tasty foods. Highly recommended for dayout with friends and family. They have swimming pool with small rock 🪨 middle of the pool . Free Paaru ride

Our company had our annual retreat and this is a nice place. Very helpful and service oriented staff Charming and quiet place Wonderful river to swim and just relax by and the swimming pool . The food was good and I usually don't like to drink milk tea but darn too they made me like it with sugar so overall well invested time and effort from our hr department to located this place. Thank you to the staff and the management.

Nice place, Nice staff, good for family or small group visit. There is the Kuru river which flows near. In the natural pool some places are deeper than 6 feet. There also some places less deep which can use for children.

A lovely place, with great ambiance! The surrounding is just so relaxing… A walk around the resort can be so calming and exciting at the same time when you view the different tall trees and ferns that grow densely around the resort.. the sound of the river and the river itself is just breathtaking.. A dip in the river is a must it was so soothing that we didn’t want to get out of the water! The raft at the river adds a bit of adventure to the whole experience as well..The pool was also clean and refreshing,the huge rock in the middle of the pool was certainly something exciting. the resort has to be specially mentioned for its cleanliness and service!! Excellent would be the best word! The rooms were spacious and bathrooms clean and convenient.. The huge balconies were best to sit out in the mornings while having your tea.. The Sri Lankan meals provided were delicious… Service was also perfect as they were always ready to help us or to cater to our wants.. Very friendly staff..will recommend Kuruwita Retreat to family and friends for sure. Looking forward to more visits there!

A best location to be with nature. Quick flowing river adjacent with natural pools to have a river bath. Super service by the staff.

We have been there for a corporate outing and the place was clean and nice. They have about 7 rooms with modern quality. They have 2 separate rooms with glasses which give a really good view. The location makes you feel like inside a jungle with the calm sound of the river. The place is still under construction and some areas still need some touches. Location - place is next to a river which is really good. However road conditions are not excellent near the hotel. If you follow a wrong path, will have to strugle to turn your vehicle. Place - the place is modern and spacious. Every room has AC, Hot water facilities. (In my room i had to face some issues with hot water and IDK why.) Rooms are clean and each room facilities 3 people. Every room has separate balcony and separate sink as well. Rooms are spacious. Washrooms are also modern and clean. Every room has a wardrobe, cupboard, Peo TV and mini refrigerator as well. Food- we had 4 meals from them and i would say meals are good.Not exceptional but acceptable) we had a BBQ which was just okay. However there is no nearby shops to buy foods and beverages and you will have to drive a considerable distance to find a shop. So better that if you can buy from Kuruwita town when you are on the way to the hotel. As per the hotel confirmation, water is provided from their source and the water is really good. Natural and refreshing. They provide tea bags and sugar so you can have a cup of tea if required. Activities - you can experience a tracking towards bopath ella which is about 1.5km away from the location. On location you can have a bath from the river next to the hotel premises. They have a pool but not felt super clean (even though they said they clean it every morning) and maybe it happens due to the surrounding trees and jungle. The garden is clean, but there is no space if you need to play cricket or badminton etc. Staff - they are really good and supportive. Listen to the customer and fulfil customer needs with respect. Connectivity - The hotel provides wifi free of charge and speed is really good. (SLT Fibre) and also mobile coverage is there. (Tested Dialog 4G & Mobitel 4G). However, they do not have a backup power source and if the CEB supply goes down, no options available.

Situated in a beautiful forestry environment. Very calm and quite place to relax.Foods are delicious and very comfortable rooms are here.

This place is a heaven. Highly recommend and call me before you go. That much of confidence I have on this place. The restaurant should pay on the attention on the food and bites to improve the taste. This is simply awesome.
