i was literally just driving by and saw a sign in regards to the tree. i decided to pull over and take a look at it. it's a small green area that has been kept clean with the tree right in the middle. there is a plaque that describes the significance of the area and if i hadn't stopped i would've never known why this area is important.

Fabulous place to spend the day! The cows are so friendly and their singing is amazing. After visiting the cows we went fishing in the pond then off to visit uncle Bob in the police station. All in all a great day

This is a wonderful monument of times past when this little spot in LA County set prices for the world's hay.

This is the location of the future city of Paramount California. This tree has a history all its own. During the early years of Southern California this tree was where early pointers sold their hay . The surrounding areas were once farmers fields growing hay to be used in a ever growing cattle, and diary farmers. Where the Paramount city hall now stands were offices and adjacent to this remarkable tree stands a building that housed hay

This Paramount Hay Tree is located in a area where there's plentiful to see (near shopping center, water fountain, and sculptures)
