The line is worth the wait, it goes faster than you think. Everything is “the best _____ I’ve ever had”. No wonder there’s 20,000+ positive reviews. They even decorate the hot chocolate. This bakery exceeded my greatest expectations.

Didn't understand why all my friends recommend a bakery for my visit to LA. Did not regret the visit one bit. Loved almost everything we had, ended up doing a second visit before the flight back. Guava pastry is a personal favorite!

One of the best bakery place in NorCal. This was my second visit. My last visit in L.A, I tried at this bakery the first time but in other location (not here). I was wondering why this place was so crowded, so I tried and I had to be in line about 1 hour. It worths the wait. They have savory and sweet bakeries, most of it tastes so good and they are reasonable price which started from $.70. They also sell coffee, smoothies, cake, sandwich and salads. I also like their smoothies especially mango and guava one. It’s highly recommended bakery place you should never miss and you can’t go wrong with their sweet, savory bakery.

Great baked products at reasonable prices. There are lines but there are many salesperson serving in parallel so the wait was short. The sales operation is very streamlined and the transactions are smooth and quick It’s a busy store

Love, love , love Porto’s bakery so much that I came back from Florida to visit. I wish I could have one of everything! They are so efficient, affordable, and well organized. The food is top quality and tasty. Don’t let the long lines deter you … they move fast. Mathew helped me with my order and he was very patient as I bought half the store! There have many locations in Los Angeles … I wish they were in other states too!

My wife, mother-in-law, & daughter have been here a few times and tonight it was my first time. Since I'm the one that gives or writes the reviews I will be giving this establishment 5 stars. Tonight happened to be 'King's cake's day/night and it was extremely busy. The line to get in was wrapped around the entire court. I had no idea why it was so busy on a Saturday early evening. We got into the ginormous Cuban café in less than 15 minutes. It was worth the wait. I was in utter awe as I entered, I didn't realize their extensive menu and all the food items available besides their baked goods. We got a bunch of pastries, coffee, potato balls, samiches, and a chicken plate which came with plantains, black beans, garlic rice, and their salsa which everything was quite delicious. I only thought that they served baked goods and pastries, for my wife and mother-in-law bought me their 'Coconut pastry' and I fell in love with it, I am no fan of pastries like this type however I had to make an exception. The first bite made my mouth water from the flavor and texture. The sugar on top adds just the right amount of sweetness to tantalize your taste buds and the coconut filling is to die for. OMG! I'm addicted to these delicious wonders of the world! I'm now a fan of 'Porto's' it's quite easy, just go in and try about anything and you cannot go wrong! I'll be back for some more of this Cuban cuisine/bakery/café. The restaurant/café is clean, organized, excellent service, (even when extremely busy), and a ginormous dining area. Awesome job Porto's and it's staff!

Desserts are good, mango smoothies is just OK, but latte are surprisingly good. Don’t come on holidays, you will need to wait for 30 min with limited menu.

The lines are incredible I’ve never done a line that long for a bakery, but I can’t tell you this , WELL WORTH IT! I’m from florida and my food felt like a home cooked meal, my husband had the Cuban sandwich and not one complaint (miracle) I hade the lechón plate 👍 going back for my Cuban cafe in the morning!!

Absolutely awful! Cookie was stale and the ratio of chocolate was absurd. Tasted horrible. The mojito was sour as can be to the point in which I could not consume it further. The tart had bad fruit in which I had to throw out. The sanwhich itself was okay but who is putting 3 spoons of mayonnaise that’s way too much. Price is also an issue. I could’ve gotten a better meal elsewhere. The quality here is horrible. It’s just the name at this point. I wouldn’t wait here in line personally the food isn’t justifiable.

Delicious food, pastries and cakes. Be always and always prepared for long lines and long waits, it's that good of a place to not wait for the Delicious after for approximately 1hr for the Delicious reward in the palate. Highly recommend for locals and whoever is visiting town.

First time here. Line was fairly quick and the experience was great. My favorite item were the cheese rolls! A must try!! The hot chocolate was also great! They add shaved chocolate and whipped cream!

This brand is an institution of culinary arts, good management, and organization. I wouldn't be surprised if I see it as a case on a business textbook. Excellent food Excellent service Excellent harmony between staff Food here deserves much higher prices. Recommendation? Get at least a one of each. I mean you gonna be happy with all +40 items

Great place to have some good pastries and coffee. Their several locations in So Cal makes it easier to go. Wish they have drive-thru since majority of their customers are ordering to go. Also wish they would expand their business to Houston, TX :)

We had to know what was the hype all about! I love the chocolate twists, cheese rolls and the potato balls! You have to try it whenever around the area. Parking was bad it was packed so had to wait a little bit for that, tables were available even the restaurant was full. We did try some drinks and I would recommend their matcha latte!

We will be sure to visit this place every time we are in LA. Our local LA friend recommended it to us, and aren’t we glad we made the stop despite the long line (moves quickly though). Their Dulce de Leche besitos are amazing… we got a whole box of them. Loved their cheese and spicy pepper potato balls, guava rose and mango mousse bomb. In general, you can’t seem to go wrong with anything you pick here. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for the most beautiful and delicious, melt in your mouth pastries and cakes, stop looking elsewhere and just go here. We were visiting from out of town and ended up coming back the next day. The parking is in a nice garage behind the bakery and they also take online orders. Do yourself a favor and try a cheese roll, if nothing else. Huge coffee and other drinks selection.

I went with some friends on a quick girls trip to Disneyland, and we stopped at Porto's for dinner. We loved all of our food, and everything was super delicious. I especially loved my braided egg bread (challah). The restaurant definitely deserves a 5/5 for friendliness, speed of making the food, tastiness, location, and visuals. We all agreed that we hope to go back in the future, because the menu was so large and it would take a while to get through all of the items, which we hope to be able to do.

Porto's is by far a very good spot customer service was great a wide range of selection from food & their drinks as well. We had to wait in line, which didn't even seem that long but well worth the wait . Can't just go in for one thing you're leaving with a bag.lol we tried just about everything & nothing was a disappointment, although the chicken empanadas was a little dry but willing to go back.

One of my favorite bakeries that I make a point of visiting every time that I’m in California. I always just load up on the dulce de leche cookies and bring a bunch home to Seattle to freeze. Highly recommend the dulce de leche cookies if you have not tried before. Everything else on the baked good menus is a hit though. Food I got the dulce de leche cookies, cheese rolls, almond croissant, and tiramisu cups for the baked goods. All of them were very, very good. My favorite is the dulce de leche. I got the cheese rolls as well because that is apparently one of the famous items at Porto’s and it is easy to see why. The tiramisu cup was much larger than I had expected and got me extra full. No regrets though. The drinks were good (strawberry matcha and an iced coffee) but I liked the iced coffee more. Atmosphere The bakery has a long line just to order what you want, and they also have another area where you can go to order drinks and food. Be careful which line you are getting into. The noise level is a bit on the noisy side since they are sooo busy. I always just get all my bread and drinks to go. Pricing The prices for everything is reasonable for bread and actually kind of cheap compared to other bakeries that I have been too. The price point for everything is worth it. Service The staff there are very busy and try to be as accurate as possible for your order. I would be clear in what you want and think about it while you are in line. Staff is friendly. Other With so many locations I’m surprised by the consistently good quality that I get every time I’m here in Cali. Parking can vary location to location.

The mango moose bomb is my favorite thing on the planet! As busy as they are everyone welcomes you with warm smiles and a sweet treat. Everything you get here will be better then expected. 12 out of 10

Delicious pastries, pies and cakes. Very long lines, so I would suggest ordering online to pick up. They also have great brunch if you have time to stand in line and sit down to eat.

awesome savouries and pastries, tasty! daughter took us here for brunch. overall experience from behind the counter service to atmosphere was delightful. we ordered a variety of croquettes, empanadas, pastries.. be forewarned though it's a very busy restaurant, however, line (out the door) goes by quickly. highly recommend.

We ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a Cubano and asked for both sandwiches to be dry. As one can see from the actual sandwiches, Porto’s got our order completely wrong. The 30 minute wait for this take out order was just not worth it.

One of the best cakes I have ever tasted! We received a chocolate cake and was told Porto's was known for their cakes. At first I was skeptical since I do not like chocolate cakes or icing, but to my surprise it was light, fluffy and moist. This will be my go to place to get a chocolate cake when I am in the area!

First time visit to this place & I was blown away by the selection. We bought multiple pastries & breads at what I feel were very affordable prices. We left w a large bag that included sourdough loaf, walnut & raisin loaf, 2 cookies, 4 besitos, 1 meat pie & a mango mousse & 2 fruit tarts. All that I have sampled so far are delicious! Well worth the drive & their checkout was efficient & courteous. Oh we also had a sample of carrot cake w cream topping while in line. Awesome stuff!

Get there early cuz lines were line after 7 am. We got there when it opened at 6:30 am. The French toast was phenomenal- crispy edges and tasty combination of fruits with guava jam. The seasonal sweet corn croquette was also very nice.

😠 Terrible, I went to go pick up an order that kept getting delayed and waited at a door they told me to wait at to be assisted. After waiting for more than 30 minutes an employee finally comes over and asks me and another person what we needed and he wasn’t even the person called over. The service is...
