Laura and her staff at this location are absolutely amazing and hard working people making sure their customers are pleased and happy to return again to continue savoring their delicious hot food items and cold ones too they sell at their location. Laura’s customer service goes way beyond my expectations and she’s dedicated and committed to assure you’re a satisfied customer! Yes,Yes,& Yes! If there’s something you may want and you’re interested in the items to be ready for your gathering or event call ahead, place your orders. Make life easier for yourself during these changes of weather..and do it! I’m telling you who doesn’t like enjoying our delicious authentic Mexican Cuisines and enjoying it at your convenience at home or wherever without having to do a thing! Well when life takes a complete toll on you and your physically limited, Laura’s commitment to make sure I’m a happy customer has been noticeable. The events where I’ve ordered Ceviches without cilantro do to food allergies thanks to Laura have been super easy to handle without me worried oh goodness what if I arrive and there’s no more Ceviches or I don’t want left overs from yesterday for my next day events during lunch. Chile rellenos are completely made like our traditional typical Mexican Chile rellenos and the taste was great and my event was also a great success having what I was craving to enjoy with my loved ones…all thanks to Laura reassuring me that the food is delicious and would be presented a certain way for me to just sit back and enjoy my loved ones …and yes that truly was a fact! Picked up my corn and flour tortillas there too and the event was a total accomplishment🌻🙏🏼❤️Muchas pero muchas Gracias Laura por su dedicación y por su labor a garantizar que lo que compró aquí en mi tienda local de Northgate sería todo un éxito y así fue! Angelica at the meat department has the worse attitude and never gives you what you want. I asked for a specific steak she said no just like that! From what I know it’s what the customer requests…She said here we give you what we want. Never again will I go to the meat department.

Visit this place for all the ethnic grocery needs. They offer fresh produce, grains, dairy and so much more. And a very wide selection of items. The items are very reasonably priced. Good selection of flowers and baked goods. Friendly staff and fast service.

Lots of parking spaces, very secure store, clean inside & out, friendly helpful smiling staff with fast check out lines. Ill be back!

You guys seriously need to speak with your cashiers by the hot food area. The señoras you have there today are EXTREMELY rude and very unprofessional. I understand you guys get busy but theres certain ways to speak to paying customers !!!

If you are paying with cash, double-check your change, you might get shortchanged. I was shortchanged, and they did not take responsibility and when challenged, the person became rude, not a juce experience.

Today I whent grocery shopping at Northgate, everything was going smooth until I got to checkout with a cashier lady called rosario, she checked out my items and I asked for a large (16lbs) bag of ice that cost $5.39, however she never glanced or checked if there was any large bags of ice. I payed and went to get my ice bag but there were no large bags of ice, there were only small (5lbs)bags of ice which cost $2.69, so I told the cashier lady rosario if i could get three bags of ice wich would add up to 15lbs of ice and the cashier lady didnt know what to do, so she glanced at the lady which i assume was the one in charge and she responded with a not very nice attitude saying that i could only get two becuase it goes based on price, but they didnt try solving the problem and giving me a refund becuase i didnt get what i asked for. I just want to say that they should be more resposible and less lazy with their job

Love the cut fruit. I buy cactus and prickly pear for my desert tortoises.

Northgate is our favorite Mexican grocery store, but this location never has good service. Good to go when I don't have time to get to the Norwalk location.

Great place to shop for many grocery items from the many ethnic hispanic groups. To top it all off, it has a wonderful Mexican food cafeteria and a great stand for "aguas frescas".

I had very good experience when I visited this super market.. people were helpful to me. I had visit many Northgate markets so far no problem. Love the champurrado and veggies also the Mexican shrimp very fresh it's all good 👍🥳.

Went today at around 9 am 3/29/23. I asked for a coffee and received it with no cream which was okay I can just ask, when I asked the lady she was extremely rude and went “to look for it” then came back and said “we don’t have any I have to go all the way over there” in Spanish.( I speak Spanish too). I said okay that’s fine just give me a champurado and again with a nasty attitude told me to go get it myself “over there” with no professionalism or decency. I wish I would have gotten her name she was unjustly rude for no reason I was very nice to her just for her to treat paying customers this way, there is no reason to reply to customers in such a rude way …Not the first time the lady’s serving are rude, it was my second and last time coming to this Northgate.

Ez to find plenty of parking great fresh veg & fruit. Well stocked with a friendly staff to help you. Great fresh bakery.

Look store nice and all BUT. . . Fruit goes really bad in days after purchasing all ice cold in store then take it home and goes all baad baad. 😖🤪☹ To the point of all going to the 🗑

I love Northgate. I come here for their fresh meat. It's the best around my house. Veggies always fresh too and their prices are reasonable.

I LOVE SHOPPING HE SPECIALLY IN THE DELI HOT FOOD AREA. THEY HAVE GREAT CHILI SALSA AND GREAT CARNITAS, AND SO MUCH MORE. MEAT DEPARTMENT IS AWESOME AND GREAT PRICES. EVERYTHING THEY HAVE IS DELICIOUS FRESH AND MADE TO ORDER.

Some of the cashiers are indeed plain rude. They are young and probably hate this type of job. Management should think about hiring more mature people or at least people that are happy to have a job. As for the taqueria they have, 👍🏼is great and the prices are reasonable.

The market is clean and fairly well organized. Well stocked with Hispanic and Asian products. Checkout lines are long many times, the special prepared food line is too slow for customers who need to grab something quickly for lunch.

nice market a bit overpriced on some fruit items not always great quality, also in the area of the magazine rack is filthy dust everywhere behind the magazines area, seems like it doesn't ever get cleaned

Warning!!!! The market it's good on hot food! But the blg it's insecure In case of fire! and or herathquake!!... The Gonzales/ norgathe it's not comply with the protocol, of exit emergencies doors Doors are label has the city of paramount . Doors must be open during buss hours. Well norgathe Keep doors close 46x 80 Other are open .... 76x 80 But at night 7 pm . They close before it's close every night !: The entry door !!! It's danger for customer In case of an emergency. Let's wait for a big one or a fire 🔥 norgathe will be liable . We need more people To complain to the city of paramount
