I am very pleased with my recent fourth experience here, as I also was with my first. My first visit I had an ear infection and my PC doctor was on vacation. This time a follow up visi for a severe bronchitis condition. . In all visits the doctors were professional, caring and put me at ease, and solved the problem. The place is immaculate, bright and cheerful. I didn't need to fill out reams of forms. Just a few questions. Less than 15 minutes later I was ushered in. All the office staff are personable. My UHC insurance covered with a $40 copay vs $0 for my PC. Worth it in an emergency, as the emergency room copay would have been $90 and much more time and hassle.

Two back to back experiences. The first wasn't great. There was no one 'in line', but I was left waiting in the examination room for over 30 minutes (the motion-controlled light kept going off) with no explanation. Technician botched taking blood and hit an artery and ran out of the room without saying a word. The doctor came in and finished the job. They made a follow up appointment (a nice gesture which I did not expect) with referral doctor, but scheduled for a time when I told them I was not available; I called and rescheduled the appointment myself. I went back about a week later for another matter, and was brought in swiftly, attended to promptly and given good care. Perhaps it's a better experience when they aren't as busy.

Honestly had a great expierience for an urgent care. super easy check in on ipads and i went in the middle of the day when it’s usually crowded at other urgent cares but i only waited 10 mins max. the staff and doctor were amazing! i swear i’ve been to so many urgent cares (usually pm pediatrics nearby) and have been even sicker than i was this week and never got medicine ever. Pm pediatrics every single time would give me a covid test and flue test and send me out the door. when 99% of the times my sickness was neither of those. here the doctor came in and actually sat down and took time to listen and understand me and gave me antibiotics, a cough pill, and a nasal spray. Finally it didn’t feel like a waste of my time going to the doctor (which is why i’m usually so reluctant unless it’s super super bad) i don’t know the doctors name but he was this young chill guy. def recommend this place if you want to be treated like an actual person

Had a great experience there so upset I have to post this bad review. Was seen around 1 week ago for illness. 5 days later I still do not have my full results of blood work. This is unacceptable for an urgent care where medical attention is needed URGENTLY. I called and they apparently sent it to the wrong lab and it had to then be sent to another lab. It’s unacceptable when a patient is sick to have them waiting for 5 days for results when they could be in dire need of treatment. Do better.

At 10pm, my wife looked across the table and said “I think you have pinkeye, you should find an open urgent care.” CityMD, open until 11 to the rescue. Beautiful, modern and clean facilities with a very welcoming staff, especially for 10:30pm. The wait was not long and the PA made me laugh. It was as great of an experience as I could have asked for.

Competent, fast and efficient, all around. Staff warm and caring, all around. Got seen almost immediately. X-rays were done on site quickly, with the radiologist's evaluation returning almost immediately. Excellent experience. This was my 3rd visit to this facility over several years. Each visit was similar in quality for me. I also appreciate the quality and competency of the doctors at this facility. (Most definitely could not say that for the last urgent care facility I used to occasionally visit.)

they are thiefs stealing money from us. after I entered the office and show the front desk my insurance cards. she said I have to pay $40 from my pocket, I asked her twice. This is the only amount I will pay? she said yes. later after few days they start sending me emails mails and messages that the visit is $300 my insurance paid 111 and I paid $40 , and I have to pay them another 149$ Don’t ever go there guys avoid this place

CityMD should hire experienced doctors. The PA or NP or whatever he was, Setter, sent the wrong dosing to my pharmacy and then sent the correct dosing without cancelling the incorrect one. This resulted in me picking up the wrong dosing and I happened to find out a week later that I should have taken the antibiotic he prescribed twice a day. No wonder I did not get better. CityMD? More like CityPA.

My past visits were all seen by MDs, but recent visit was actually seen by a physician assistant whom I later found out on the receipt. Although he was nice, it made sense he did not introduce himself when he enter the room. What a shock! No MD on call for CityMD? Not only that, the receptionist allowed a man to cut before me even though I was there first. Luckily another receptionist took me in right away. At last, somebody has common sense.

My name is Craig Lynch I have been to City MD about five times now each time I've gone there they were able to get me in rapidly never a long wait. They are also very friendly and very knowledgeable. they have always been able to cure me and I have never had to go back with a follow-up issue because their treatment did not cure me. I would recommend them to anybody.

While you might have to wait a little in the lobby, the service and care is spectacular once you get called in! The physicians, nurses, and x-ray technicians were all extremely kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. They put you right at ease, and had a great sense of humor and positive demeanor! The x-rays were taken there & were reviewed by the doctor really quickly too! I highly recommend this urgent care facility.

I was in need of urgent care late on a weekday evening so I found CityMD which is opened until 11 pm. From the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out my experience was wonderful. Everyone was kind and knowledgeable. I have worked in healthcare for 20 years and I have to say they have the most streamlined service I have ever experienced or witnessed in a health care facility. They even provided me with a dose of medicine before I left because it was to late to pick up a prescription from my pharmacy. Thank you everyone at CityMD!

If I could leave a lower review, I would. I went there waited 45 minutes for the results of my first rapid test and they did a second one. I waited 45 minutes for that the rapid was positive the first time negative the second time, so they decided to wait for my overnight to decide whether or not to medicate me, I got the results the next day and I called to get a prescription and they say I have to call the aftercare department. I waited on hold for 45 minutes at the aftercare department and left the number for them to call me back when they call back I couldn’t hear them they were in the Philippines and a lot of static. I asked him to call me back and they didn’t. I called the office again to complain. Why can’t I just get a prescription I was there the day before and they said this is their procedure. The procedure is not good. The person manning the phone was very nice and accommodating. Not her fault. Just a bad system for people who are sick I just wanna get better.

It doesn’t make sense to call this place an urgent care if they can’t send the medication that you need to get better within 24 hours. Spoke with 2 reps that told me they sent to the prescription to the pharmacy and the pharmacy has yet to receive it. Never going back

Decent experience as I have been going to CityMD, across multiple locations. However, this particular experience was bad. I came in for an issue and Dr. Shoshani was very quick in 'assessing' me (it almost felt like dismissal to run to the next patient) and then sent over a prescription for viscous lidocaine to my pharmacy. The pharmacist informed me that the manufacturer stopped making that prescription months ago. The pharmacy also followed up with Dr. Shoshani, to which no reply was received. In addition, I was supposed to receive results via email for my strep test; the portal keeps prompting me to reset my password and tells me there are no results. Do better City MD. Will not be coming to this location again (Paramus).

I took my daughter for an urgent visit to this location. They billed as an office visits. It’s an obvious fraud. When I called the office and spoke to the manager she told me that they do that to get a Co payment which is obviously fraud. I called billing department as well. Still no resolution of this issue. It’s truly unbelievable. It’s impossible to write a message. You can only call them. So if you go there please make sure they bill visit correctly. Most Insurence companies have co payment for an office visit but fully covered for an urgent care.

City MD on Route 4 in Paramus is wonderful. I had a bad fall and cut my head to the point I needed it checked by medical professionals. Dr Bayless and nurse Naomi were on duty when I went there and they were great! I was taken right in, stitched up and examined and out of there in under an hour. If I went to a hospital ER, is probably still be waiting! I highly recommend City MD if you ever need emergency care!

We were welcomed and seen very quickly. Unfortunately positive experience ended there, test results were misread and incorrect diagnosis was established. We were prescribed unnecessary medication, even after culture test came back next day confirming incorrect treatment plant no one called us to advise. I only found out negative test results by logging into our portal and following up with our primary physician.

2 separate experiences and both were very positive: a few months ago our younger daughter stepped on a toothpick that got embedded in her foot. City MD had us in the exam room within a few minutes of registering (there was only 1 other person waiting to be seen, we arrived around 8am on a weekday) and the doctor had it removed within 15 minutes. Just today our older daughter sliced her finger and with no one else waiting to be seen (this was mid-morning on a weekday) we were in the exam room within 10 minutes of registering and seen by the doctor shortly thereafter. We were walking out before 30 minutes had passed. All of the staff members in both instances were welcoming and friendly and the facility was very clean. We would not hesitate to use the facility again.

Had to be treated on February 10th. Spent about 3 to 5 minutes filling out info on the kiosk. Sat down and was called in to exam room in less than 10 minuets. Waiting in the room for a couple of minutes, was then greeted by a nurse who took some more info and my vitals. The Physician came in, checked me out and within 5 minutes diagnosed me and prescribed medication to alleviate my illness. They did a great job could not be happier. Thanks Paramus City MD.

CityMD on Route 4 East Paramus NJ was my first time in a Medicenter. I found the intake to be quick and pleasant. The wait to see the Doctor on a Friday afternoon with patients in the waiting area, was reasonable. Besides being sick I found the experience to be a great alternative than the ER.

I had a little accident and needed a few stitches. I could not have chosen a better place to go. I forget the young women’s name who helped me, but her and her assistant were absolutely incredible. I was in and out stitched up in less then 30 mins. Great job guys, and thank you!

Took my grandma to see a doctor there because she was having some kind of allergic reaction. The staff was really nice, but Dr MICHAEL BAYLESS was very rude and has zero empathy for the suffering of others. I told him my grandma had small blister on her arm and he said he didn’t see them, so I had to get up and point them out to him. Meanwhile, he just kept talking to me like I should even have come there. I could tell the nurse, who was a complete sweetheart, felt second hand embarrassment after watching the way he was treating us. Looking at the other reviews here, this is a clearly pattern for him. I left the room convinced he probably cheated his way through med school, because he didn’t have anything to add from a medical perspective. People like him should not be practicing medicine. Without him this urgent care facility would get 5 stars!

Clean. No wait time. However, negative experience. Doctor doesn’t listen to you. He was prescribing too high a dosage of something that I can’t tolerate and would not prescribe what I needed for this recurring problem. I was visiting NJ so when I returned home I had to go to doctor again to get treated for an illness that was unnecessary had the urgent care doctor listened to me. This could have been really bad. Luckily, I got the medication I needed in the first place and all is well. Be careful is all I can say.

😐 Nothing urgent about this place! So severely understaffed. Plan to wait a minimum of an hour. Unfortunately there is a lack of pediatric urgent care in the area so it’s not like you can take your business up the block.
