Well I’m in for a roast again this place is absolutely awful after 20 years of trying to come back and think it was gonna be great I wish I had mistaken by the hinting flavor of Clorox bleach old food and pancake mixed waffle mix as a substitute for what I would not call pancakes. Definitely very disappointed upscale atmosphere is obviously fueled by these prices and terrible food not going to return here.

It’s a diner, and I will review it in the context of the genre :) should you go out of your way to eat here? No. It’s a regular diner. Is it a good option if you’re in the neighborhood? Sure. The classic “everything but the sink” menu / portions. Everyone enjoyed the food, it arrived quickly and the kids especially loved their dishes (chicken fingers, fries, hot dog… hey, they COULD have had veggies with that! But when in Rome… or a NJ diner…) The server was super nice and efficient, and there’s an extra half star there for the constant refill of my coffee. My husband said “it’s like going to eat at your grandma’s and also it’s 1980” - some like it, others don’t :)

Stopped by Tom Sawyer diner for breakfast this Saturday. I ordered eggs over easy on corned beef hash and a side of home fries. The corned beef uhash was made to my liking which was great. My friend ordered a cup of yogurt with fruits and he asked for more fruits as he felt they were not enough in the cup.Overall good breakfast so thank you very much

Good food. Nice atmosphere. Prices a touch higher than typical diner. Delicious pastry items. This visit I had one of their lunch specials; brisket with a potato pancake and yummy lobster bisque soup. The brisket was covered with gravy and was melt in your mouth good. Update-11/2/19 had the Panini Triple crown with pastrami & turkey. Both meats made fresh, tender and delicious. Chicken soup was rich and flavorful. Service by Donna was excellent. Parking can be a problem during lunch and dinner hours.

Just okay. My bf and I came here for breakfast. We didn’t like it very much, mainly because of how loud it was in there. After we were seated, a family of six were seated right next to us and they were very loud. The food was okay. They charge a 3% fee for credit and debit card payments. I felt that we paid too much for a experience that we did not enjoy and for food that was just okay.

It was a wonderful experience of early day dining, on crisp Tuesday morning. I arrived at 09:30 am with a vast amount of available parking; I was parked, ate, and paid in under 30 minutes. I was welcomed with a fresh, new looking building that contained an opened floor layout plan with high ceilings. My server Juneta was professional and friendly when taking my order. I was recommended the pastrami and swiss omelet which did not disappoint. My coffee with decent and a large glass of orange juice came to wash it all down. It's no wonder this location has over 1,000 reviews on Google. I finished it off with a deliciously decorated cheesecake that was soft, fluffy, and semi-sweet to the taste. I would highly recommend this location to any individual or group looking for a nice bite. I would have loved to have coffee that was a bit stronger, and the omelet would have been excellent if the cheese was a bit more melted. An overall 5-star dining experience with no complaints!

I had some time to kill and some work to complete on my way to a family gathering. The waiter and the owner were outstanding. The food especially the omelette was top notch. They encouraged me to stay and complete my work. All in all a very good experience. A wonderful family-owned, Greek diner.

Love this diner. We were on vacation in upstate NY. When we returned to the area after driving 3 hours home we stopped here for breakfast. The most delicious omelettes. Great coffee. Love the home fries. Sodas are tasty too. Can't beat this place. One of my favorite diners.

Not bad, but could be better. Easy on & off highway. Expensive salads. Overall pricing on the high side for a diner. Specials were priced the same as on the menu. Sandwiches were all overly drippy, but also tasty. Asked for the check to be split and it took 20 minutes for that to be brought to us, and was not split.

This place is nice. Went on a Friday around 9am so it wasn't busy. I ordered the Tuscany Omlette which was delightful. My wife got the Pork roll sandwich which she loved.

This is my go to diner in my area. I adore the owner Steven, his brother, and family. Service is great 👍 I especially love Pavlo and Alfredo. I had the body builder omelet today. Nice portions, consistent food quality, and strong coffee ☕️

Very average diner. Don't get the turkey pastrami sandwich, the coldcut meat was full of gristle and fIrly tasteless, the fries are not crispy and probably start out frozen. Servers are nice but never came back to our party of 14 to check on us, we waited a long time for drink refills. If you are hungry and can't get to a better restaurant it will do.

It was fine - 3.5 rounded to 4 stars. A convenient place to meet near the Parkway. Arrived at 10am. Service was fine, not particularly friendly but standard for this part of the country. We were ignored after we finished our food. Everything is getting expensive including diners - I paid close to $20 for an egg white omlette with cheese and fruit salad. We were assigned a booth in the back and conducted a business meeting during our breakfast. Worked perfectly for that. Was crowded on the other side by the time we left at 11:30 as people started to roll in for lunch.

The food at this place is marginal at best and severely overpriced. Ordered basic sunny side eggs that arrived lukewarm. The manager is extremely rude. We were seated as a party of three at a table for four and he told us we “have to move” since he needed to seat a party of six at that table. This was after we were shown to the table. He also couldn’t be more put out finding a table in the first place and it wasn’t like the place was packed to the brim to begin with. A real amateur and novice run operation. Definitely far better diners in the immediate area with higher quality food.

Best diner, hands down. My son had heart surgery in Valley Hospital so we went everyday for 6 days in a row. Very consistent, food, service, everything is fantastic! We'll be back next time we're in the area!

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Not only was the food disgusting but severely over priced. Got our food, tasted it, thought it was gross, and the waitress never came back. After 20 minutes I had to get up to go look for her. At this point I had had enough and just asked for my check. She wouldn't give it to me, insisted she'd bring it to us. When she finally did come over I told her how unhappy we were. She took our plates full of food and said she would speak to the manager, still no check. She finally came back, handed me the check and told us to tell them up front when checking out. Fine, I go up to the check-out counter and she takes the check from me and without even asking how everything was she just rings me up. I told her how unhappy I was, how we didn't even eat, how I just wanted to go home to cook dinner. All she did was smile. Not a freaking word from her except " have a good night" as we walked out...how the heck am I supposed to have a good night after this place??? I'd rather starve than ever come back here again. For reference...you can see how little we ate from this chicken parm wrap in the picture

It's fine, the food is good but nothing amazing. You get what you expect here. The staff is nice. I didn't appreciate the additional 3% fee for using a card instead of cash- also note that the prices on the menu are their "cash prices" so be aware of that. No need to go out of your way to eat here but if you're hungry and nearby it's not a bad option. (Edited: I stated 3.5% credit card fee earlier but owner's reminded me in their response that it was 3%. Also, they are correct that it does state on the menu that it will be charged.)

We had lunch on s Sunday afternoon (about 1:45) when google maps said it was very busy. None-the-less, we were seated promptly and our order was taken by a friendly waitress. The breakfast menu is separate and we had to ask to see it. My husband had a pastrami & corn beef, which was full of lean meat with steamed vegs, rather than fries (save a few calories) which were not overdone. I had the Reuben and when I asked for light on the Russian she said it is always on the side - smart. It was full of kraut, meat and cheese. Both of us were sated and each took 1/2 our sandwich home! Companions had omelets, which they both finished. One asked for her toast dry but the other didn't so it came with buttered, not on the side - disappointing but not a big deal. The bill for all four us was $58. $6 for 2 large cola, 3% if you use a credit or debit). When we visit the graves again it is a great place to sit and talk (nice booths and not too loud- no background music, which we appreciate.

Great menu and service but on a slow Sunday, the wait for food was too long. Love my Burger!
