Decent place for an English breakfast. Coffee was good, eggs and french toast portions were big. Con would be that the staff can't speak English well and service was kind of hard to get, so temper your expectations of this place. Table was kind of small, definitely no space if we had ordered more as we had to remove the plant and water.

The place is very popular and is often very packed. There's usually a queue for a table. The service staff are well trained and polite. The most popular dishes are the All Day Breakfast and the Big Breakfast. We had the Big Breakfast. Love the mushrooms and the scrambled eggs are done nicely. But I would recommend the pork sausages instead of the bacon. Missing the crispy bacon strips! Quality has suffered a little while they try to maintain pricing. The pumpkin soup was a bit disappointing.

Came here specially for the coffee! Or rather, to be specific, for the latte art. To be honest I have been so spoilt by the designs from the other antipodean branches, that when I saw the one I got here which was a normal heart design, I was disappointed… The other two branches were really creative with their designs, sob sob. Superficial stuff aside… the staff here, like the other branches, are all really polite, efficient and friendly. The cheese sandwich I got was really yummy, and coffee was great too. ☕️🙂😋

Came here recently for brunch. Been here twice before and found the food delicious and service good. Ordered the Big Breakfast again with some tea. Service from a slim young Middle eastern man and a petite Chinese lady was very good. The food came fast, portions were good and delicious. I like that their menu is very comprehensive and I tried their carrot cake before in previous visits which was very good. One thing though: the cafe music had always been very nice but this time, some loud thumping techno was played and gave me a headache. It was as if I was in some sleazy club or disco instead of a chill cafe on a weekday afternoon. Thankfully when I humbly requested if they could change the music, they did :) pls play music that is appropriate for the ambience of the cafe. Overall a good experience and I would gladly return.

Nice environment chill cool calm relax Perfect for gathering chit chat time Easily you can spend hours here Forget the food. It’s about food quality. It’s eatable but by far below par relative to normal western food standards Similar apply to English breakfast tea it’s tasteless relative to the one in UK So just focus on the environment and atmosphere you will enjoy more

Passed by this place countless time and has been always crowded. Service acceptable. Food came after 15 to 20min. Big breakfast ok( same as any other cafe) same goes to the meatball spaghetti. Otherwise, i feel the waffle was too hard, not crispy , while the lemon crepe was too soft and tasteless. Dessert definitely need some improvement.

Arrived during lunch time and was promptly served by many of the friendly and ever helpful staff. My Big Brekkie meal was good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. And the Iced Latte is totally adorable to slowly sip on 😊🧸

I came here for a big family lunch. We were a group of 12 and they managed to accommodate us. Overall the food was alright, so will only highlight was what was lacking. I ordered the Turkish eggs, which were not that tasty. Only one piece of bread was given with the dish. Also a nasi goreng order took quite a while to come out of the kitchen. The staff were really accommodating, making us a teh tarik even though it was not on the menu. Big shout-out to the two Mio/Myos, who were really helpful. Great customer service from those two on the wait staff.

Tried the flat white and big breakfast. Food manage to meet expectations on portion size. Coffee was just right and staff manage to encapsulate our Sunday mood through their coffee art. Although it's crowded during on a Sunday morning. Staff manage to greet and treat us In a cheery and respectable way.

Met a friend here for lunch and catch-up. Had the salmon omelette and the marinara pizza as well as the detox drink (apple, ginger, pineapple etc). We sat the semi-outdoor area which was cooling and breezy. Service is impeccable. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable in their recommendations. Overall, amazing experience.

It’s great to visit this place again. My last visit was before Covid started and that was ages ago. We were lucky to get a spot here for our brunch. We ordered the big breakfast, a set of croissant, latte and an avocado side. Big breakfast was good especially the mushrooms. Croissant was not too bad but I feel the price was rather steep. RM16 for one. Overall, great service and good food.

I was here on a Saturday 11 am and the place was already packed to brim. Still, my waiting time was around 10-15 minutes. Super busy but the waiters are all attentive and efficient. Superb management. I love3xxxx the bear coffee it’s a must. Your coffee is not watered down so it’s more enjoyable. Nothing special about the big breakfast everything was really well seasoned and I enjoyed my time here. Keep it up 💗

I was at the Mid Valley branch yesterday, my first visit. Service was top notch, loved the outdoor seating amidst the plants and greenery. It was a relaxing afternoon, sipping over Vietnamese coffee which was amazing that I went for a second one. Highly recommended. Great place to chill with friendly and attentive staff. Shout out particularly to Ah Myo who was very nice and quite knowledgeable and explained the whole process before consuming the coffee. Wont be my last visit for sure.

20Oct23 I'm here every week, love the staff & svc! Try the bear ice coffee...so cute! You can't go wrong with Antipodean Food is always great, fresh & generous! Had my waffle brunch here! Coffee always just right of strength & oatmilk! I never have to worry or ask for less milk or specify! I know they always have my just right AU/NZ flat white! Staff is always so attentive, prompt & smiley! Fortunately or unfortunately - they are mostly foreigners, they work hard & diligently n far better than the locals most times! Can't believe I just found this here when I've been to Mid-Valley so many times! Thanks & please continue to keep the team happy & well treated! It shows in their svc & the food!😊❤️

Come back here after a year~ look at the food portion, obviously getting lesser than before. But the taste still not bad. Servant also attentive still. Followup:Received a reply from the owner. Well, I am not agreed on that point just like they couldn’t accept the true. Apparently the size had reduced. Nevertheless, the food taste and service is good. You may remain the quality of service.

A nice place for Brunch. Ordered their Carbonara. It was very generous with the amount of cheese and mushrooms. The carbonara was not so gelat as well. Their Big breakfast was good too. Had to order it with extra pork sausages for another RM14. Love their scrambled eggs and sauteed mushrooms. Bread was hard tho. Other than that, service was fast and waiters are attentive. Price is Reasonable for a brunch place. The only downside is that it can be quite hot as it is only outdoor seating.

I have breakfast at this restaurant on 4th dec, and i got covid positive on 7th dec. This restaurant is crowded, and they arrange us the table jz beside the corridor while alot of mall visitor passingby. We sit there and waited more than 30minutes for food. I do believe i get caught the viruses while there. I experienced category 3 to 4 symptoms of infections... Please be serious for human life!!!! '' This is a very serious allegation and I will pass it in to Midvalley Mall management to address. We have regular visits from Management and DBKL and we have never had an issue with compliance. Please provide me with a phone number so we can pursue this.'' ---> SO SAD WITH REPLYING WITH SUCH A RUDE WAY!!! And i will let u jz defense for ur own, wish u always stay healthy

Our breakfast was a total let down. The toasts, which were thinly sliced, came out cold and hard. My friend's egg hollandaise came first and mine (the big breakfast) came much much later and when she is almost done with hers, which means I was served almost half an hour later. The eggs for both orders weren't hot, probably left aside for some time before serving. The hollandaise sauce is somehow lacking in taste. The only consolation was the coffee, flat white and ice latte. Your service timing needs a lot of improvement. Not forgetting, we like our breakfast warm, not cold.

Excellent service! The staff saw my pregnant wife, she carefully arrange our seat and inform others to be careful. Food is great, despite the over cooked poached egg they instantly made us another one. Of course the staff came over and concern if the food is all good. Is a great place for brunch. 👍🏻

Very very crowded on a Tuesday afternoon due to school holidays I assume. Got seated while waiting for my friend to arrive, the servers kept coming near my table/looking at me and making me feel uncomfortable. Despite that, the food arrived quickly. Paid RM30 for a bacon panini which tasted ok but could do better for the price. Strawberry juice was fresh and not artificially sweet. Can scan qr for the menu

Had a great breakfast session with my boyfriend yesterday. We ordered avocado toast with smoked salmon, muesli with milk, and French toast with caramelized banana and bacon. The food and coffee were good, except the banana wasn't caramelized enough. We sat outdoors at a corner table, perfect for two.

Dining here for the first time this evening. I must say that we are very happy with the server, Mr Myo who gave us good recommendation on what to order. We had Big Breakfast, Beef Kebab and lamb burger. The food are delicious. The beef and lamb are tender. Mr Myo is attentive and passionate in his work. We had a good experience dining at Antipodean@ Mid Valley. We will definitely come back when we are in Kuala Lumpur. Antipodean@Mid Valley is added to our must dine list. Cheers!

Honestly, the food is good although the salads come with no dressing. I especially like the hash brown which has a small slice of cheese in da middle. And the salmon flakes in the omelette, solid food choices right there. About the only thing I do not like here is that it can get crowded pretty quickly, I came to MV at 8am on a Saturday morning and by the time I parked and sat down, the restaurant was already half-full of patrons. And by the time I had finished with my Big Breakfast, the place was fully occupied, so go figure.

Nice ambience, not too noisy, food portions were good, taste was good, not too overwhelming. Service crews were very attentive and helpful. Will definitely return and can’t wait for them to open in Penang!

A popular place at midvalley, it's almost busy all the time. Food is not great but they're good enough choices in the menu. Serving is just enough with price on the high side. Environment is open air, can be quite enjoyable having good chat at the place.

Antipodean at Mid Valley in Kuala Lumpur exceeded all my dinner expectations! The cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and delightful experience. Their menu boasts a variety of delectable dishes, and I couldn't resist trying their Nasi Goreng, which was a perfect blend of flavors. The attention to detail in their presentation and the freshness of the ingredients truly shone through. It's a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a delicious meal in the heart of KL.

This is my go to place whenever I want to enjoy my alfresco brunch. The service is really good, the crew are all attentive and alert and the big breakfast portion is the best.

My go to place whenever I’m at MV. Food is good and friendly service. My suggestion is to avoid peak hours as it can take quite long time to get your orders.

First time eating here and decided to try their Big Breakfast, requested for Beef sausage instead of Bacon. The beef sausage was very strong but not too overwhelming, might be alarming to those who do not do well with strong flavors. The sauteed mushrooms were very fragrant but a bit too oily for my taste. The omelette was in the right consistency of not being slimy nor too solid. I think the hush puppy / fried potato ball was really interesting, sadly the big breakfast only included a piece... Service was good as I had inquired the waiter on their recommendations and he would ask me for my preferences. Good job. Food came relatively fast and their service was spot on. Only problem was that it took a while for them to get the bill.

Good healthy and hearty breakfast. And of course the real Bacon (non-halal). The coffee bean was good too - Flat White (Expresso bean) + Oatmilk. Bought some beans as well. Went there straight twice for breakfast. Opens early as well. Good services - attentive waiter and waitress.

My tummy was happy. 😀 Had good hearty breakfast, good coffee and okay place to chill. Tend to be slightly noisy with shoppers around but looks like its the most popular place in MidValley.

Food was good except the bacon in the big breakfast was too dry. Service was good, Rifat was friendly. Overall not bad but hygiene can be improved (flies around)

Place kinda airy but not cool. Table setting and hygiene need to be upgraded. Food not bad but need to improved... too oily.

Nice ambient outside Mid Valley. Love the Al fresco dining. U can choose to sit indoors. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Burger patty was a bit dry. Not that great. The banana French toast was excellent. Fluffy and delish.

Atmosphere: 1/5 depending on where you're sitting. We were placed at the corridor walk way, far far away. Food: 2/5 the carrot cake is the likely the worst I ever tried, not much carrot, just cake, no nuts, no dates, no pineapple....you can see from the picture, I am so happy to see a tiny shred of carrot, like an excited rabbit. The Istanbul Pizza, crust is too hard, the presentation is definitely unlike the advertised picture on the menu. The sweet paprika chicken is tough and the chickpeas has funny taste (perhaps that is the original recipe....) Service: 3/5 because we are sitting in a galaxy far far away. Has to ask for the dessert to be served 3 times. Coffee is alright.

Desperately looking for a place to work (need plug and Wi-Fi) and the lady staff is super kind to offer us a seat with extension. We had our lunch and too full to order another meal so we ordered an iced coffee and a piece of cake. Totally made our day when they serve the iced coffee with the ice teddy bear! Ambience of the outdoor seating is really great, the weather was gloomy that day so we don’t feel the heat sitting under their glass roof. Will definitely return for a proper meal next time!

  • 4/5 Kaylee K. 1 year ago on Google
A solid brunch place. It's a bit pricey for what it is but probably acceptable in this area. The food was good, the Orzo Pasta was quite unique, a must try. But their banana french toast when I had it wasn't really flavoured with egg mixture and was quite plain. It was pretty disappointing. For drinks they have a nice range of coffee to select. Including some unique combinations such as coffee cooked with brown sugar and more. A good place to come if you love coffee.

  • 1/5 HkH 1 year ago on Google
If you're looking for good food presentation then this is the place. But if you want good food that taste good and can satisfy your taste bud this is definitely not the place. Food is tasteless and bland. Service and price okay la.

  • 5/5 Pink W. 9 months ago on Google • 1 review
Ordered Big Breakfast. Nice taste and generous portion - look at the scramble egg and sautéed mushrooms! Their coffee is always nice. They have tea time promotion for coffee + cake at 3pm. Lemon cake is nice. They have one of the best customer service with very polite, attentive staff and they can explain to you about the food variety and help you with your order. Will always visit Antipodean for its nice food, ambience and hospitality!
