While the doctors might be good but you can offset the good with the bad of getting to your doctor. Everytime would require you to register at the counter even though you have made an appointment. See the picture? that machine is to help you to skip the queqe and go straight to your doctor but nooo. You have to get your number, wait to register and then go. What the use of this machine then? Counters are undermanned too. Never attempt to come on a sunday, pasar at the front of the hospital that 1) blocks the road 2) all of the pasar goers parks in front of the hospital. When there is a huge land right next to the pasar in the MPM where stall space is marked. KPJ clearly didnt care about their own customers, even saying that its good we customers should walk. Parking is horrible. A hospital that is to cater to hundreds of people and they only have around 20 to 30 parking. The rest are to settle the problem themselves. Its been dissapointment again and again. They wouldnt fix the problem cause you know why? They are the only alternative hospital in muar and they know it.

Bad service by their pediatric team. We were asking if my son have jaundice for 2 days strainght and they said no. But after discharge the same evening nurse from kk ask to bring my son to hospital as his jaundice reading already reach 15 which need to be taken to emergency department at hosp Muar. Also i pay thousand but the checkup not throughly done . Gov specialist dr found my son leg have split position which need occupational theraphy attention but KPJ never mentioned anything during validation, discharge or checkup. Really bad!

A very good kudos to one of the KPJ staff. I went to the hospital for medical check up on 12/12/21. I don't have any letter to indicate what type of check up should I do. Then Nurul Ain at level 4 has entertained me very clearly and calmly. She explaint to me what package should I take and what check up will covered. She was very professional how she managed to entertain the patients. She handle my check up process very smoothly. Where to go, what is the next process, how long it will take time to process and when should I come back to take the result. KPJ Muar should recognise for her effort!

Apart from the fully cooperative nurses (thank you nurses, May god give reward for what you did), the advice given by the doctor are really devastated. Doctor always give bad comment and opinion, never considerate of others options other than his.

I recommend the exceptional service by their home care services team. They looked after every need for my mum, and we really appreciate their help for the past few months. The team is also compassionate, kind and efficient. It was easy to set appointments and always reliable whenever we need the services.

The nurses at the in-patient department displayed a lack of experience when my grandmother was hospitalised here. Of course, a few of them were reassuring, but there were also many that didn’t seem friendly and professional. Although she already had a stroke on her throat, unable to make out any comprehensible words, she was in such excruciating pain that she cried out for my aunt in clear words when the nurses turned her in bed and cleaned her. Her hands were bruised badly because they couldn’t find the right place to draw her blood. When she had stroke again and we saw that she seemed to have seizures while in ward, we pressed the button to called for the nurses but they were so slow to respond that we were helpless at what to do and ended up having to rush out ourselves to call them. They made BP checks and told us that her tests came back normal and that was it. But her condition obviously didn’t look promising. We didn’t know she was having a stroke. Then the second time she had a stroke, we called the nurses again but this time she was already unconscious and unable to wake up. Yet the nurse still didn’t call the doctor because she said the β€œchecks were normal” and that she β€œhad to explain to doctor but she can’t because everything was β€˜NORMAL’”. It was only when she checked her pupils because gran couldn’t wake up that she knew that something was wrong. It would be great if the nurses were more trained for situations like this and not just follow β€œSOP”. My gran was also starting to produce white foam at the mouth. If only Muar had another private hospital to choose from, maybe then they will start to be more professional and provide more training to compete with their competitors. What infuriates me the most is that the nurses lack compassion, if my gran’s time is up, at least we know that she had been well taken care of, suffered less pain, and handled with dignity. Maybe they were already desensitised, but at least be more empathetic toward the patient and their family and display more professionalism. If only Muar had another private hospital…

I first stepped foot into KPJ on 08/06/2021 to seek treatment for pain and gallbladder stones. As of today, 5 months post Lap. Cholecystectomy ,I am recovering and in the pink of health. My gratitude and appreciation of thanks from the bottom of my heart to Dr Ang Leng Peow and all Drs, nurses and staff for care and service while I was a patient at KPJ . And not forgetting Business Office for extending all necessary assistance for my insurance claims during the MCO phase. Thank you once again.

Overall service is great. Came here for health checkup for work st 8.30 sharp. Evrything went smooth and finished everything at 9.30 (simple check up). Staffs were very friendly and guided me every steps and procedures required. Most of the visitors parked outside the premise, at the roadside nearby. There is a 7Eleven (convenience store) located at the 1st floor lobby.

Emergency Department staff - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Dr Shahrun (Orthopaedic Surgeon) - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Excellent explanation, calms my anxious mother, soft spoken, very attentive and listens. Ward 4a - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Operation Theatre- 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Ward 3a - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 SQM - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Housekeeping - 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Aside from the known parking issues, we had a great experience. Especially for my mother who had extreme anxiety as it was her first time admitted to the hospital other than obstetrics experiences. Kudos to all!

Had to do a last minute medical checkup. The staff at Health Screening Unit are very helpful in guiding me through the steps. They even expedited some remaining steps upon request.

I I even try call using others phone, operator also not pick up .Is this a hospital? Is it open for 24 hours? Super deeper desperate to Kpj muar maharani. Besides, no operation hour of specialist in the websites. Any enquiry also unable to ask kaunter? Again, is it a hospital?

Took my booster vaccination here this morning. The whole process just 7 minutes. Very excellent customer service as always. Very helpful and courteous staff. πŸ‘πŸ»Customer service. I had my gastrocopy done here. Specialist doctor is patient, willing to provide detailed information and explanations. I would recommend this hospital. Average prices, conducive environment and clean place. Limited parking bays near to building but can park further down the roadπŸ˜€.
