My experience with Summit in Park Ridge is very good. The sales staff on the front end was professional in helping me navigate through this transition for my mom. They are very experienced in their jobs and didn't seem to mind all of my questions and phone calls. The staff in the memory care ward is compassionate and kind to their residents. The recreation staff is excellent. Their daily activities have made my mom's adjustment to this new home much easier. I am happy with the choice we made. Summit is a great fit for our family. Summit is perfect for our mother! My sister and I visited over 10 other facilities and chose Summit. Mom was not cooperative with her moving out of the house, but the staff at Summit made her more than welcomed as a new member of the community. The leadership and staff are beyond friendly and accommodating, the food there is outstanding, and it's located in the heart of Park Ridge with restaurants, shopping and the Pickwick close by. They have activities scheduled every day and mom carries her itinerary with her from the time she wakes up. MY sister and I made n outstanding decision moving her here. I highly recommend it!

Summit of Uptown was the right choice for my mom. Many thanks to Bill and Shelley for answering our many questions and providing a smooth transition, even with a few moving clitches. The top-notch, compassionate and attentive Staff has made my mom feel welcomed and comfortable. And, now she is reaching out and making new friends. The activities are fun and designed to include all residents who wish to participate. The transition from home to her new home at the Summit of Uptown is now complete and we are so very grateful.

Amazing experience. We have been looking for a place for my mother that's a great fit. We found it. The people here are so caring and thoughtful. They are very respectful of my mom's wishes and very understanding of her desires and needs, and our concerns when it comes to finding the right retirement community. Everything has been handled with the utmost compassion and professionalism. My mom, who was very reluctant about this move, is now very excited about it and is looking forward to starting a new chapter in her life. The Summit of Uptown in Park Ridge, IL is a fabulous facility! We were in a jam two years ago and needed to quickly find a place to take care of my aunt. The Summit worked with us to move her into an independent living apartment. As time went on, we eventually moved into assisted living and then into memory care. Throughout our journey, my aunt and our family interacted with skilled staff that treated us with kindness and respect. We are very grateful to the entire team at the Summit of Uptown including Matt, the engagement director, Veronica, the memory care director, Anuja and the memory care nurses, Sherice in reception, Jacinta in billing, and especially to the Executive Director, Ryan Jones!

My mother will be staying at the Summit of uptown later this summer. The staff , mainly Bill Hickey has been wonderful in the planning for my moms stay. I feel she will be in very good care for her time there. I can go on my vacation without having to worry.

Do not believe what the sales staff tell you about the qualifications of the staff at the Summit and think long and hard before choosing their memory care services. Despite the claims of the sales staff the memory care staff have zero special training in dealing with and caring for patients with Alzheimer’s or dementia.

What a vibrant and energetic Community, can’t wait to play the Summit again. Panici Amici had a great time meeting the residents and interacting with them while performing.
