Best meal we have ever had. Staff were all very welcoming once we walked in the door. Food blew us away and it’s low prices for meals. Wry family friendly

Kids meals were good. Apple pie was presented well and tasted great. Service was good. Sadly my medium rare steak came out well done so had to send it back. Should have got a voucher instead as the second steak came back well done as well. Very disappointing for $37 steak the size of a child's hand you'd expect it to be easy enough to cook to order. Not sure if I'd go back again.

I eat here every few months. They really know how to cook a steak, and the chips are great as well. The menu is what you'd expect at a decent pub, and serving sizes are excellent. Service is good, although it can get quite busy at mealtimes. The fact I keep going back should give you a hint - definitely worth a try!

Wow this place is amazing. The service is so friendly the food is plentiful fresh and on point. The drinks were icy cold the air conditioning was cool the seating was great. I made my booking online and mentioned it was my son’s birthday who is an adult and when we arrived they were balloons on the table. Don’t hesitate to go here you won’t regret it but make sure you book a table

Booked a table last night for my sons and nieces birthday dinner. Most of the night we were served by a lovely young Lady named Mary, she was very friendly and helpful. Meals were a bit over priced but tasted good. The dinner special was a big serve and well worth the price.

I felt the need to post a review for this place, because it deserves a thumbs up. I've eaten here regularly for years now, and the food and service is always excellent. They really know how to cook steaks, and the meals are great. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely lovely staff. I think Charlie was the name of the person serving us. All the staff were nice though. The staff were especially nice to our kids.Fair prices and huge meals. I was with a party of 8 and everyone loved their meals. Keep up the good work. Your point of difference is how lovely you all are. Enthusiastic service is rare these days.

Cannot recommend the browns plains hotel enough for coeliacs. We had a dedicated chef and server for our table as well as the usual separate fryers etc. We let staff know at the time of booking our table and when we arrived they actually ran through all the safety measures they would be taking with our orders as we were seated at our table. The food was also delicious with generous servings ❤️

Food here has become disappointing. Prices have increased whilst the quality has decreased. Ribs are tough and not season, coleslaw was sour. Don’t think we’ll come back to eat here

Bar staff were rude and disrespectful, I came here after work to relax and have a few drinks, when I tried to order my 3rd drink she denied me ordering for my partner and myself. I would rather find somewhere half decent to spend my money at.

We had a work lunch here last week. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we were happy and looked fter. The food was reasonably priced and great tasting!

Great food. My steak was cooked to perfection. Great service from all the friendly staff in the restaurant. Massive spacious dinning area. Plenty of room to move around especially if your hot the kids. Able to accommodate large tables of people.

I had just graduated and felt as tho we would spend our lunch at this place, however one employee was very unpleasant, i was served with rudeness and attitude as i felt very unwelcomed. There was one specific lady with pink neon hair who had major attitude after one simple question. I understand they may have been busy but that is not how u serve ur customers. With that it took around one hour to receive our lunch, there was multiple people complaining that day due to waiting too long for their food. I am for sure not going to go back to that place.

The meals here are the best I have had in a very long time when out at a restaurant and I can be picky at times. The staff are simply amazing, so kind and polite. The wait time for meals is just the right amount of time. The food is cooked perfectly. Thank you to the staff at browns plains hotel. If anyone wants somewhere to go for dinner then definitely go to this place. You will not be disappointed. 10/10 just like our table number “10” 😁

If I could give no stars I would. We waited 50 minutes for our meal last week Friday. Only to be told after waiting for 50 minutes that our meal was not available, this was told by our server with much attitude, we were confused as my parents have an English barrier and she was very impatient and rude when they had asked for an alternative that was similar to it which she replied “well get your menu”. There was another sever who brought us the wrong food and we informed him and he replied with attitude also “well I don’t know” and placed the food down not carefully. They were rude made the experience memorable for their horrible service Also the food had no flavour ( so I can’t even give the benefit of the doubt) , not worth the wait or the rude experience.

Killing some time on a wet Saturday afternoon, decided to grab a drink & a quick bite. Ordered Bruschetta, Fruit Tingle cocktail & Lemon, Lime & Bitters. Fairly average food, reminiscent of any pub food. Nothing really special. Pricing was average, I would return as its convenient & never appears to be busy.

The staff was lovely and very helpful when my partner asked to put the footy on the big screen. This is our favourite place to go for dinner exceptional quality of food and everyone always has a smile when welcoming us in.

Got introduced to the fast table service via ordering on phone. Fantastic as no need to walk around. Meals are large portions so come hungry to fir it all in.

Went for a comedy gig on Saturday and absolutely loved it! Was awesome and the chick in the functions was amazing! She was nice and had everything down pat 10/10. Had dinner before the show and the food was delish! We got the QLD parmi and the rump with prawn toppers. 100 percent recommend for anyone looking for a dinner night out. The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable and just a good night out.

My partner and I ordered food via doordash and we ended up waiting an hour and a half for our food to get here. We scheduled it for 6:50 and it got accepted at 6:20. By 7:00, we were told that it was going to be another 45 wait. It finally came to us by 8pm and the steak was rare and everything was stone cold and as hard as a rock. We were not impressed at all.

Nikita makes the best lemon lime and bitters that I have ever tasted. Worth coming here for one of them alone. Oh, the food was really good too.

I went here for dinner last Thursday and it was really great. I've been a few times over the years and it's always been good. My most recent visit was even better than usual; the staff were all very friendly and the Power Bowl that I ordered was delicious. Quite a big serving too.

The bistro staff are absolutely fantastic. We are regulars at the bistro before Reno’s. I was so disappointed in my meal. The schnitzel was tender but I didn’t appreciate the avo squashed into the top of the schnitzel. The bacon was great but I top of that was so much melted cheese. It was way too much. Then the Holland aide sauce non existent. Couldn’t even taste it. Very disappointed.

Had early dinner with my wife tonight. Ordered the barramundi and the chicken parmigiana. Both were outstanding and the waitresses provided service with a big warm smile the whole time. Thx browns plains and to the staff. Don’t change😊

First time dining for lunch. Meals decent size. I ordered Battered Fish and chips, hubby, had Parma with Mac and Cheese. My Fish had to much batter. One Fish was nice and hot in the middle, the was nearing cold. Hubby found cardboard in his salad. Both didn't finish meal. Hubby sent note back on his plate with thanks for the cardboard. In my opinion the food is overpriced for what you get. 4 mini king prawn tacos were $18. They each were the size of my thumb. Definitely not worth it. And food was average. Place looks nice though

Three of us went for dinner as we've done many times over the past few years and were looking forward to trying the new menu. One ordered carbonara with bacon - it was so greasy she could only stomach a few mouthfuls, like the sauce had split. One ordered a seafood basket, it came with prawns in the shell and no way to clean fingers after having to shell the prawns. The battered fish was so oily she had to take the batter off and eat the fish inside. The potato scallops oozed oil when she cut them so they also weren't eaten. The third ordered spare ribs - they were cooked with the membrane on and were just tasteless. Has to be the worst meal we've ever had there, so disappointing. The service was prompt and the staff friendly, the food was a waste of $100. No we didn't address it, it was very busy. I hope other people had a better meal.

We have been going to the Browns Plains hotel for years once a month, we meet with friends, we have seen two full renovations.. But last night was the worst night we have encountered. I ordered for my wife and I, Two seniors fish and chips and a cheese and bacon garlic bread. Our friends ordered their meals straight after us in the queue. The garlic bread arrived at 7.30pm. Yeah I understand it was busy, after all it was Saturday night. At 7.45pm our friends meals arrived, they ordered Seniors fish and chips and a seniors Parmie. Keeping in mind we ordered before them. At 8.00pm our friends had finished their meal and ours had still not arrived, we were getting agitated at this point. My wife went to the counter to ask about our dinners, only to be told, “we are busy, you have to wait!” At 8.10pm I got up and demanded my money back, all sorts of excuses and apologies were given, we were even offered our meals for free, but it was far too late at that point. We ended up going to Mc Donald’s for dinner. Browns Plains Hotel, You have lost our monthly visits. We will take our money elsewhere from now on.

Do not eat there, food is prepared earlier and not even reheated properly. Extremely over priced for what the food actually is. Ordered five mains and they were out in less then five minutes all with cold chips. Sent them back while one of the children tried the spaghetti bolognese. It was rancid and looked like cat food. No fuss when a full refund was requested showing they must be use to the low quality of food and just hope enough people don't request refunds

We ordered take away and as we got home and opened the container, the Wagyu Beef Burger had only the beef patty and some sauce in it, nothing else. I called to complain the next day and I was told the manager would call me back. Never heard back from them. I called again, left messages and still haven’t got a word about it. This was a month ago. Don’t think we’ll be returning after this poor display of respect for the customer.

Restaurant area is spacious and well catered. I do get different meals each time, with some not as great as others. That does come down to personal preference and palette The gaming area is always clean, tidy and fresh. Staff are great. Bar area is spacious. Sometimes on busy nights I find it takes a while to be served - however the staff are still pleasant!

Shabbily maintained rooms- dirty cutlery, shower head not fine, adjusting warm water tricky. Bedsheets super uncomfortable, so we spread our blanket over the bedsheet then didn't have any to use over as no extra linen or blanket kept in the cupboard. 2 stars for the location.

I really wanted to like this pub. Comfy vibe and decent menu but it took so long to get our food and though well staffed they just didn't seem to be on the ball. I literally stood at the counter and was ignored by a woman right in front of me preparing a dessert until Sarah came over to acknowledge me. So, the 2 stars are for Sarah.

A better-than-average tavern. Ordering food/drink on the mobile is convenient. The food is delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly. Karaoke night with the boys is fun.

We arrived for a function and stayed at the hotel. Greeted by a lovely and most helpful staff member, Sarah. She was awesome. Accommodation was what we expected. Room smelt quite musty though. Food was expensive, but well cooked and was delivered in a suitable time. Bar service in the bistro was great, but in the Sports Bar, mediocre.

Nice place with amazing foods! All the staff were friendly! 1 less star is only because the gnocchi was sold out... I will definitely visit again to try their gnocchi!

Lady that greeted us at the door was lovely and explained the ordering process. Only down side was the meal wait times and when the actual meals came out. Hate to be that person to go up to a waiter and ask how much longer our meal was gonna be, but kinda had to because everyone that arrived after us got their meals before us. When the meals came out, the portion size was slightly shocking (palm size) as the steak was $47 each. Steaks came out very well done and burnt - we asked for it to be cooked medium well. Offered us a free dessert (thank you) but turned it down.

The service here is exceptional. I have been here 2 times for birthday events and each time the staff have been so accommodating and professional. The food has been absolutely fantastic 👌 I would highly recommend 👌

First time here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with a friend and her daughter. Super fast service, great size meals and Sarah from the Bistro was more then accommodating to my picky AF friend. Absolutely disgusting service, I am new to the area and thought I would check the place out. I ordered 2 entrees / a bowl of chips and some oysters. Took over an hour and I asked the wait staff and they said I’ll check on it for you, they completely forgot about my order and rushed around after an hour to bring it out, the chips were then still have cooked and was a dollop of aioli. Staff didn’t seem to care one bit

Worst experience I've had at a bar in the pokie room. Appears to be in the final stages of renovations. The only time I've ever felt unwelcome at a pub.. and check how many I've reviewed. Gets 2 stars for cleanliness and modern venue. I'm sure when this place is properly up and running it will be a great venue but I can only review on my experience and that wasn't great. Was confusing straight off the bat upon arrival. Couldn't determine who were staff and who were customers and who were tradies there doing work. A large group of people were standing around in pokie bar service area that seemed to be having a meeting. I guess it was venue management and tradies. It was hard to tell. They certainly weren't gambling. Just getting in the way and making things confusing and uncomfortable. Parking was a nightmare as well.. there seems to be a lot of handicap parking spaces and a lot of 1st choice liquor (next door) assigned spaces. And a lot taken up by tradies there doing work I guess. Entered through sports bar.. which I would rate 4stars by itself but alas it's dragged down by the pokie room fiasco. In my opinion if your renovating stay closed until complete.. small area near pool tables was still being renovated in sports bar. I'd like to give this place another go but it's 2 from 2 bad experiences for me and it will be a long time before I go back. Previous bad experience was delivery food during covid which was terrible. Was given credit which I didn't end up using. This place could be great but I can only review on my experiences which have both been bad. Hotel rooms and accommodation unknown quality.

Went last Tuesday night with a friend, signed in at the front desk and was greeted by a lovely lady. We then went to the bar to order drinks and dinner when the bartender rudely asked for our sign in and proof of vaccination, which we didn't mind showing but the rudeness was uncalled for and my friend wanted to walk out because of this. Fortunately I didn't let it phase me and it was worth it because the food ( Rump and Prawn combo and Chicken parmy) was amazing. Hats off to the chef but that interaction with the bartender did leave a bit of a sour taste. Maybe she thought we just walked in off the streets but we did inform her we signed in at the front entrance. So I guess we must look like liars which doesn't make you feel very welcomed. I hope she doesn't talk to everyone like that cause it was very uncomfortable to interact with her after that

Kids meals use to be $9 and include steak chips and salad. Now the price of a kids meal has been increased to $12, steak removed from the menu and salad in no longer included with the kids meals. Servings are also noticeably smaller. Bring back the old menu you crooks! This is a typical example of price gouging and profiteering during a cost of living crisis. You should be ashamed. Won't be back.

We recently went to the Browns Plains Hotel for dinner with friends for the first time in a very long time. The service was exceptional, particularly from Teisha the restaurant manager. Overall it was a great experience. We will be back!!

I have been a couple of times now the food is good, served quite promptly and the calamari was better cooked than I had eaten the night before at a much higher priced venue. Disappointing that they've moved to the order yourself by QR code method and the app has the audacity to ask for a tip. But sadly becoming the norm now. The team collecting plates was quite upbeat.

The pool table cloth needs a refresh, and decent pub cues would be nice. Staff are friendly sbs place is clean.

We done a 4 night stay and the house keepers were on the only positive side during our stay here. We had multiple FALSE COMPLAINTS against us. There was no reconciliation. We as a large group with mixed entities felt targeted.

Just had lunch. Haven't been there for quite sometime. Very disappointing and won't be back. Very over priced. Had fish and chips. Chips were cold and soggy. Fish luke warm and batter soggy. Considering ordered right on opening time shows food kept warm in hot box and not cooked fresh. Expected better than that especially Considering the price.

Not enough staff to properly look after customers, had to ask 3 times for the heaters to be turned on outside and still weren't by the time we finished our meals and left. Overcooked steak, dry and horrible tasting bug toppers on the steak, only saving grace and Reason for an actual star was the garlic bread.

Friday night at Browns Plains Hotel was a vibe! The restaurant staff were cool, and the food was seriously on point. Shoutout to Brie, the awesome bartender in the sports bar – mixed killer drinks and made the night even better. Booked in for 2 nights first room had no hot water reported it they moved us to another only to find bins not clean and blood on the sheets I went straight away to see manager they offered me $100 for the bistro next night Next day asked to see manager the staff knew who we where waited 1 hours than ordered and paid for so never received any discount. They need to look after there guests Especially after we had driven 800 kilometres never again
