My sister, Mum and best friend had the best day out at this wonderful workshop! We had our workshop with Zoë, the owner of La Chocolatrice and were in a lovely small group! What fun we had ! Zoë was an excellent teacher and chocolate enthusiast! She clearly really enjoys what she does and this is infectious. She made the workshop interesting, fun and had lots of tips to make it easy to follow. We learned how to make flavoured chocolate truffles, chocolate flakes and peppermint chocolate crisps! We got to take away all of the chocolate we made and worked with during the workshop. We all really enjoyed the workshop and will definitely be doing further workshops! It made me feel really confident to try the skills again at home. Would highly recommend this workshop to anyone! It was really fun, informative and had a great atmosphere

We had such a great time at La Choclatrice's Advent Calendar making workshop. Zoe and Kendall made it such a fun evening teaching us how to mould and decorate the chocolate and we left with some amazing goodies! I'm already looking forward to seeing what other seasonal workshops they do, as I'd love to try another one- it's a great alternative night out. The chocolate is really delicious too!

Had a wonderful experience making chocolate truffles with Kendal for a family birthday celebration. I would recommend it to anyone. The chocolate is delicious. They definitely have new customers for the chocolate shop.

What a great place for a few hours of fun and tasting amazing chocolate!! Excellent instruction from the girls and so much chocolate knowledge!! What a dream job to have!! Book a session - you won’t regret it!! They also catered for my cousin who is vegan! Thank you!!!

My daughter Jackie and I attended the Advent Calendar Making Workshop on November 4th. This is the third event we have been to at Coxhoe, and we absolutely love them. The Calendar making was so absorbing and exciting that the time just flew past! We learned such a lot and it is always a huge pleasure to work with Zoe and her team in such relaxing and friendly environment. We - and the rest of the family - adore the chocolate too! Cant wait for the next one.

This is an excellent introduction to making chocolate treats, and everything was very achievable! The workshop is well-paced so you’re neither rushed nor standing around. Best of all, you can take home your creations, any that aren’t eaten through the workshop. Excellent, I’m buying one for family as a Christmas present.

I pass through Coxhoe regularly and have missed this place upto now, unfortunately. I tried 3 bars of chocolate, along with some samples kindly provided, which were delicious. Chatting to the lady behind the counter was lovely, her knowledge and passion of and for her products was inspiring. I really enjoyed my three bars and will be back, i won't lie the chocolate isn't as cheap as your normal mass produced products available in other shops but then you get what you pay for in my opinion 😋 Its just a shame you can't grab a coffee too 😉

We had a brilliant time at the chocolate workshop, I bought it as a gift with some chocolate bars for my family last Christmas and we finally got around to doing it. It was so much fun, we learned a lot and would suit a whole range of people from complete novices to those who already enjoy cooking/baking etc. It was really fun and hands on, with lots of variety. We got to eat so much chocolate and bring our lovely treats home (and couldn't resist visiting the shop afterwards for more) I would highly recommend, thank you again!
