Went to the Escape Room with friends for my birthday. It was the best night ever! The venue was wheelchair accessible including the escape room and the hosts were so lovely and sweet. As many of my friends and I were disabled, the hosts accommodated to our needs accordingly and were overall wonderful about it. Thank you so much!! I highly recommend coming to this place again for more adventures in the future.

Wonderful time at Adventure Rooms, a fantastic escape room venue. We were a family of 4 today, missing our 2nd son who is travelling in Europe. Had a blast trying out the Black Queen challenge. We managed to finish it ahead of time. It was well designed and extremely fun. The gamemaster Andrew was fantastic. This was our 2nd visit in less than one week. We are planning to try the 3rd challenge tomorrow.

Our group did the mad scientist room and it was really great. We had a great of 11 so we spilt into 2 teams to compete against each other. It worked out really well and everyone had such a great time. The entrance can be a little hard to find and the lift down is a big dodgy so recommend taking the stairs if you can. Would certainly come back to try the other rooms out.

We came to the Adventure Rooms for a work Christmas party and did the Black Queen room in the dual format. Most of us had never been to an escape room and didn't know what to expect, but it absolutely exceeded all of our expectations. We all got off to a bit of a slow start, but once we got the hang of it, it was so much fun. Challenging and exciting when you solve the puzzles, and great to see how each member of the team use their strengths and work together. Would highly recommend. Thanks to all the staff who were so friendly and helpful from the first point of booking.

Completed the Black Queen with 2 people just under 50 minutes and it was fun enough while proving to be a challenge. Lance did an amazing job with hosting and lifting up the atmosphere of the basement. Decor and props are good but a bit old. Keen to do more rooms coming from them soon!

Wonderful staff with excellent, “real” challenges. We did the Gaol Break initially, and had to come back for seconds with the Mad Scientist. 5 escape rooms / 5 escape rooms - would definitely recommend a visit for a mentally engaging adventure.

Fantastic experience! Family of 5 with 3 kids age 9, 8.5 and 3. We chose Mad Scientist and it was amazing experience for everyone! Good timing , we all got involved and solved puzzles together ! Had only few minutes to escape and WE DID IT! Such a highlight on husband’s birthday! Excellent staff /communication/service /and fun activities! We will be back !

Husband and I were here a couple of weeks ago on a week long trip in Melbourne and binged quite a few escape rooms. We did The Black Queen. Puzzles were fun and a few were quite different to any we'd seen before. We had a lot of fun!

My friends and I did the Black Queen. It was extremly fun and It made me think out of the box with my friends. It broke the ice easily with friends because there was a lot of hands on puzzles. I definitely will reccomded Adventure rooms! Definitely will come back!

We had a great experience in the Mad Scientist room. The setting was genius and the staff was super friendly and experienced. We highly recommend this to families with children who want to have some fun. Special thanks to Chelsea for saving us, and her colleagues Em and Tanya. We look forward to coming back and trying the other rooms.

Best to do it with a bigger group of people. Most the puzzles are combination locks and numbers puzzles which was disappointing. I’ve done 2 other escape rooms in the past and this one said it was the easiest but it wasn’t enough time to finish it. The countdown timer makes it not very enjoyable and forces you to rush through it instead of enjoying it. Staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Would not do it again, I would go to a different one. This is just my own experience and one person in our group enjoyed it, the rest said the same as me.

If I could give this place more stars I would. I came with a group of 9 girls (aged 9-10) and we did the mad scientist rooms divided into 2 groups and alternating rooms trying g to see who could solve their room before the other team. The staff are incredible, they explained everything perfectly and were super friendly. I’m already planning on going back with some girlfriends. If you’re coming in from little Collins stres keep an eye out for it because it’s easy to miss if you don’t know what youre looking for

Would be good if reset properly. Unfortunately we spent 10 minutes staring at an empty box and repeatedly loudly saying there was nothing in it before somebody finally paid attention and came in to fix it. We later then spent about another 5 minutes trying to get an unreachable key out of a box that turned out to be the missing key from earlier. We were given extra time to make up for it but it's hard to tell if we actually would have escaped in time now, which takes the achievement out of it.

We had a blast! Great fun, despite the fact we never escaped! We did Gaol Break, with 2 teams of 4. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Lots of puzzles to solve. Good for all ages and abilities, which was ideal for our first escape room.

We did the Gaol Break escape room for my friend's birthday. Absolute banger of a room, fantastic experience. Major shoutout to the staff, Alex and Lucy, for not only their patience, but their banter, vibe, and professionalism. We had the best time, couldn't recommend this place more!

We had fun escaping from the Black Queen! The room was clever and the puzzles were very neatly done. If you do a lot of escape rooms and you love when the puzzles are really clean (each piece has a unique place and things fit together in a very satisfying way once you figure them out), this room is for you. If you're newer to escape rooms the well thought out nature of the puzzles means this will be great for you too!

Great fun had as a family activity. We chose the Mad Scientist room and through teamwork just managed to escape! The staff were lovely and very accommodating when needing to move our booking. Highly recommended.

We did the escape room today. A group of 8 ranging from 63-13 years old. It was fantastic. It was the first time for all of us and we all loved it. All our different ways of thinking helped. We got out with 10 minutes to spare and will definitely do it again. Staff were helpful. Loved it!!!

Adventure rooms Melbourne have friendly, professional and funny staff. They were keen to ensure we had a great experience and interacted with a group of 13 year olds with care, humour and respect. The room was perfect for a birthday party - challenging, intriguing, fun, and full of locks, puzzles and riddles to solve. The variety in the room was refreshing and certainly filled the hour. We’ll definitely be back for our next birthday party!

Me and (most) of my friends had a great time solving puzzles in a cleverly worked competitive format. The puzzles were original (compared to point and click adventure games, at least) and lots of fun to work as a team. Friendly staff and a clean, orderly space with emergency exits if needed. Would recommend!

I am an experienced escapist, having done more than 30 escape rooms and I can say that the rooms at Adventure Rooms Melbourne have been very enjoyable to do! The staff are super friendly. The rooms were not as difficult as they say. All 3 rooms had good and straightforward puzzles. I definitely recommend it for beginners!

First time for me .. Amazing Experience...It was fun for first timer.. However, I would say price can be reviewed .... 39$ per person is bit too expensive. 350$ for the group of 9 people for exploring the same room .. .. Will need to think for 2nd time due to pricing :P Staff was friendly.. we were group of 9 poeple so they divided us in 2 sections of same room.. it felt like they miss to provide you hints on timely manner. Number of locks and difficulty level didnt match the time provided

My son did Mad Scientist with his friends for his birthday earlier this year and today his dad and I did it for ourselves. Our son and his friends did much better! Awesome fun, thanks.

This was so much fun. I've always wanted to do one of these, and it was great. We did the Black Queen room, and the clues were manageable but still challenging. The only thing I didn't like about it was how stuffy it was. There needs to be some better ventilation. Otherwise, it was a fun experience.

This is the first time hubby and I have done an escape room and it was great fun. We didn't make it out in time but was still fun to do, even if we did swear at each other at times in frustration 😂😂.. The lady that was there to show us what's what was (I think) Kayla and she was great at explaining everything and was patient with us older participants.. The only negative for us was the rooms are quite dim and our eyes aren't the best trying to see the little numbers on the locks 😂.. So thanks for a great experience and we'll love to try another room some time.. 💜

The Black Queen Room was well set up and great fun! We did a duel adventure with a group of 9 people. Terrific bunch of staff! Everyone had a fantastic time! Highly recommended!

During the introduction, we were told that we couldn't ask for clues, but that the game master would give clues if she saw that we were stuck. We naturally assumed that we would get the clues in time to finish the room. Unfortunately, the clues didn't come in time, which combined with technical defects (jammed lock, dead battery in a device) meant that one area ended up being completely unplayable. When we asked, we were told that this was company policy. I know this differently from escape rooms and I don't enjoy it that way. My suggestion: Fix the technical faults, check the batteries when resetting the room and simply ask your customers how they want to play the room before starting the game.

We had a group of 7 that included ages 11 to 56. We chose the Goal Break activity and had a blast. It was just the right amount of challenge for the younger ones and kept us all on our toes. We will be back for another challenge when next in Melbourne.

Fantastic! A great family experience with our two kids aged 11 and 14. The staff were great and ‘the mad scientist’ escape room had excellent puzzles and clever tricks to make it fun and interactive. We escaped with a few minutes to spare and talked about it so much after. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

I've been to Adventure Rooms Melbourne with my family and friends, and have also brought student leadership groups along to do the duels. The rooms are great: well designed and executed. Thoroughly enjoyable experiences and I can't wait for the next rooms to be unveiled.

Me and my family (there was 6 of us altogether) absolutely loved the escape room! We did the Mad Scientist room and it was perfect for the whole group (we are aged 12-28). There were puzzles that everyone in the group could solve and they were really interesting and fun puzzles to solve. We had so much fun and cant wait to come back again ☺️

The location, set-up, staff, and overall atmosphere was fantastic. The adventure room itself was challenging and exciting, we were stumped plenty of times but managed to work our way out in the end. Honestly am super keen to come back, overall 5 out of 5 experience!

The service was great and they were friendly. We played the Black queen, the difficulty was 4/5. Even though we were unable to finish it, it wasnt that hard. If this is your first time, it would be good. You can book online. It’s worth visiting.

We booked an escape room for our team of 10 ppl as an end of year celebration. The team at Adventure Room were really flexible with our changing numbers and slightly late arrival. Great price and experience, highly recommend

We experienced the most difficult escape which is the gaol break one but managed to just finish 80% of the task but it was fun all the time we were in the escape process and solving the puzzles and using a bit of their own brains😜😂. Must visit place for friends and families with groups.

We had an amazing time trying to escape the Black Queen room. It was very challenging for 2 people as we were up against the clock but such a thrilling experience! Emily was super friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We will certainly be coming back to try the other rooms

Had an amazing time at Adventure Rooms Melbourne! Tried the mad scientist room and the puzzles were a good mix of easy and challenging, makes you think outside the box. Tried the room with myself and one other person and although we didn’t escape, it was an awesome experience and we will definitely be back to try the other rooms!

Lots of fun!!! I did all 3 rooms (Mad Scientist, Black Queen, and Gaol Break) over a couple weekends, and these are probably my fave escape rooms in Melbourne. The puzzles are hands-on and require some teamwork which is great fun for small groups who like to solve puzzles. I would definitely recommend AdventureRooms to seasoned escape room goers and people who are new to escape rooms.

The escape room was so much fun and we somehow managed to escape the most difficult room! The experience was definitely amazing and really helped our team build teamwork. Shout out to Micheal, Andrew and Matt who were awesome!!! 100% would recommend

We celebrated our Christmas Party at Adventure Room's and we had a great time! We did the prison rooms which I highly recommend. The only thing I will say it that one of the white board markers was missing from one of the rooms which set the other team back a while. Overall I recommend this experience for larger groups.

Played The Black Queen room. Not the most innovative escape room, and the puzzles were quite linear, so we couldn’t really delegate the 6 of us. If you’re experienced or with a large group, might not be the room for you. Andrew was an attentive host though! Thanks for the fun, hopefully will be back to try the other rooms!

Awesome Gamemasters! Played the Mad Scientist room and had a great time with the puzzles, so many locks to solve! Our GM Alice was super lovely and made the booking process easy. Will be coming back to play the other room we haven’t done yet!

We had the best time at Adventure Rooms! Such a great team and such awesome rooms that we had to try them all! Massive shout out to Anna, Meg, Emily and Yala (sorry if I misspelled!) for being so friendly and accommodating. Definitely highly recommend to everyone looking for a bit of a challenge!

This was so much fun! So many puzzles, we all laughed so much. The puzzles were a mix of hard and easy. Real brain teasers, something for everyone, with fun thrown in. Loved it. We went with our adult kids and will definately go again as they have a variety of rooms. Out with 10.3 minutes to spare... not to shabby!

The Adventure Room team are absolutely amazing! Cheery, bubbly happy faces when you walk in! The escape room - The Black Queen, was great! For a room that says its 4/5 difficulty, it definitely was a 4/5! I also love that you actually escape from a different door, rather than the original door you enter from! 5 stars all around!

Andrew was an amazing host at Adventure Rooms Melbourne. He, along with his team, gave our group such a fun and memorable time. The challenge of versing your mates in the adjacent room was a truly unique and thrilling experience. The puzzles weren't too tricky to escape but that made it all the more fun to see which team could break out first and get the best time possible. I absolutely loved the escape rooms! The rooms were so detailed and you never know what’s next. The black-queen room was my favourite but they are all so fun and unique. 100% Recommend.

I went to the adventure rooms with my family. Even the youngest kid there (7) enjoyed solving the puzzles and escaping. I have tried many escape rooms and this is definitely one that I have enjoyed more, with more clues and things to solve!

I took 10 13-14 year olds and we did the "mad scientist" room which I think is the easiest one. It was fabulous. Still very tricky but so much fun. We then ducked over to Betty's Burgers for an early lunch. I highly recommend this experience.

Oh. My. God. Best Escape room I’ve done in a while, the puzzles were so refreshing and interesting, my friends and I played about 6 rooms around Melbourne for the weekend, two of them being from Adventure Rooms. Game masters, absolutely lovely. We played Gaol break on Saturday and came back on Monday for one final game before we had to fly back. The Black Queen did not disappoint. Highly recommend, fav rooms in melbourne imo.
