My
husband
and
I
have
been
supporters
of
this
restaurant
for
the
last
four
years
-
even
through
COVID
-
when
it
was
open
for
business.
It
used
to
be
one
of
our
favorite
restaurants
that
serves
“home
style
comfort
food”:
great
food,
reasonable
prices,
great
service,
no
fuss
no
muss.
It
is
no
longer
the
case
and
we
are
really
disappointed.
The
food
quality
has
consistently
gone
downhill
for
the
last
year
and
very
obviously
so
for
the
past
six
months;
constantly
understaffed
(often
only
one
waitress
working
the
entire
dining
room).
Prices
went
way
up.
After
multiple
tries
for
the
last
six
months,
I
think
we
have
(sadly)
made
our
last
visit
last
week.
This
is
beyond
the
”Great
Resignation
and
unprecedented
inflation”
madness
we
are
all
experience…but
$72
dinner
for
two
with
NO
alcoholic,
no
appetizers,
no
salad,
no
desserts!?
We
had:
-
Full
rack
of
ribs:
$32.
We
intended
to
take
half
home.
We
have
to
-
the
ribs
were
so
tough!
It
was
like
the
cook
forgot
to
cook
them
and
threw
them
on
the
BBQ
too
late.
Thin
brown
layer
of
BBQ
sauce
with
grayish
meat;
it
was
“stupid
ribs”!!
I
need
to
wrap
and
stick’em
in
the
oven
to
cook
for
another
hour
to
tenderize
the
rest.
Come
on!
-
One
baked
potato:
$7.
The
ribs
do
not
come
with
any
sides.
$7
is
Ruth’s
Chris
Steak
House
pricing
of
a
SMALL
baked
potato!
I
grow
potatoes
in
the
garden
and
this
is
not
a
large
potato.
I
don’t
know
how
one
justifies
that
price
(butter
only,
BTW.
Not
fully
loaded.)
BTW
if
you
prefer
a
small
dish
of
cole
slaw
as
a
side,
$6.
-
Small
Appetite
(ie
half
order)
fish
&
chips:
$16.
Two
large
fish-stick
size
cod.
Fries.
Cole
slaw.
This
was
very
tasty.
I
can
live
with
paying
$16
for
this
entree.
-
Two
iced
tea:
$3
each.
Totally
reasonable
price.
-
One
flavored
lemonade
and
one
iced
tea
from
another
table
got
added
to
our
tab.
We
were
so
frustrated
by
the
repeat
disappointments
that
we
just
paid
for
the
beverages
and
left.
That
was
$6.
“Whatever….let’s
go.”
-
We
tipped
10%,
plus
tax.
$72
total.
There
are
many
hardships,
no
doubt,
the
restaurant
management
team
is
facing.
Many
of
which
I
cannot
help
them
solve.
The
only
way
is
for
me
to
be
a
patron
of
it
and
overlook
the
inadequacies
-
up
to
a
point.
We
are
all
experiencing
the
pinch
here.
After
almost
a
year
of
slow
quality
decline
and
most
obviously
during
the
last
six
months,
I
am
sad
that
I
have
to
find
another
local
restaurant
that
serves
great
food
with
great
service.
Unfortunately
it
is
near
impossible
to
find
one
in
Port
Orchard!!!
By
the
way,
the
menu
published
here
is
very
outdated.
Many
items
are
no
longer
available.
All
the
prices
are
wrong
-
add
at
least
20-25%.
Best
of
luck
to
you.
We’re
out.
