Great food, great atmosphere, great prices! This place is terrific and we are looking forward to our next visit. We were so excited to try Tacos Poncitlan at its new location here in Pasadena. This restaurant has been in business since 1994 so we expected it would be good. WRONG! It was GREAT! We ordered the carne asada, grilled fish, and veggie taco for a quick light lunch. All were tasty and satisfying, especially when you consider the low price. The handmade corn tortillas stood out, as did the smoky red sauce on the fish taco. After just one visit I can safely say that this place will be our go-to neighborhood spot for super tasty inexpensive tacos. So, do yourself a favor and give this place a try soon.

The food here is absolutely wonderful and made with love and care. I've been here multiple times, and each time everything is delicious with an attention to detail and freshness. Mexican cuisine is my favorite type of food, and among the countless Mexican restaurants I've been to around the world, Tacos Poncitlan really stands out. Also, the people working there are really nice and genuine.

Great food at a reasonable price! Best part is you can buy drinks from their fridge and take home what's left! They also have happy hour 3pm to close. $1 taco $3 quesadilla

Food was excellent. The red salsa is hot, just the way I like it. I would go again, just not on the weekends because it's crazy busy. I added the menu because the ones posted before were outdated.

Really great food! They are adequately priced and you receive tons of sauces and chips as well! Friendly staff who are fast and efficient. Definitely a must.

Excellent food here. Quality is great and super fresh. It is my fourth time here and I’ve had the same great experience every time. Tacos, salsa, guac, and chips are all fabulous and they are very welcoming and friendly!

Fantastic food and the staff is very nice. I usually get the burrito (fajitas de pollo) but the ceviche is probably the stand out menu item. Also, if you like salsa with a good amount of heat their red salsa is one of my favorites. If you don't like a lot of heat stick with the green salsa.
