What a wonderful place. A favorite of our family. The staff are all cheerful and smiling. They all seem to be happy to work there. Everything on the menu is good, very good and sometimes exceptional. To me the chicken mole is exceptional. Insider secret : the Amigo Burger is ironically fantastic. This is old school SoCal Mexican family dining at its finest. Wet/oven burritos and generous margaritas. And the chile rellenos are really good. I could go on and on....

We were stuck in traffic coming from San Bernardino to L.A. We decided to go for a bite and a drink at any local restaurant. Google maps suggested Amigo's Restaurant as it was closer. WHAT A JEWEL!!! The margaritas were made with with real triple sec and lime. The food was so tasty and home made. No hand made tortillas, but that would have been too much to ask. Great place to dine 👌

Good food, amazing salsa. Definitely heavy fare but really great tasting food that is well seasoned. Server was attentive and friendly. 4-stars as it's a tad run-of-the-mill when it comes to the menu but I do recommend it. Be sure to get a side of habanero sauce with your chips and salsa.

This place is old-school and a little dive-y in the most perfect way. The food was not amazing, but pretty good, but the ambiance is casual and fun and the drinks are tasty and strong. A fun place that I will come back to again.

If you ever visit Downtown Pasadena and are in search of someplace to eat, I highly suggest going to Los Amigos. My family and I went there today for the first time and as Mexicanos, the food there is amazing. My dad and my sister tried the burritos de carne and my mom tried the hard shell tacos and chile relleno combo and they said that it's delicious. As for me, I had a bacon cheeseburger with fries and they're really good, especially the patty, very hard on the outside, but soft in the inside. As Mexicanos, we always say that our food is supposed to be authentic, have good taste, and made with love and Los Amigos does just that.

This is a great place (in my opinion) for having drinks and good Mexican food. Their menu choices are good, and their house margarita is popular. I like the ambiance, inside or out. The staff is friendly and professional. 😎

My friend and I had a fun time in the bar section of Amigo's. The steak fajita was huge and plenty to share or take home. The Chile relleno was also really good. Mango margaritas hit the spot in a fun, friendly atmosphere. Looks like many regulars, but it was my first time.

We love Amigos! We always sit in the bar area and have awesome service. The bartenders are so friendly and fast! The food is great! You cannot get better margaritas than here! Always a good time and a good meal. 👍

Wasn’t sure what to expect but what I got was, hands down, the best chicken burrito and margarita of my life. I got my order to-go and the portions were more than generous (and it came with chips and salsa), although the margarita was smaller than it is on-site (but, it still hit).

A mid-size restaurant in Pasadena with a homey feel. Their margaritas is the reason why locals frequent this location. The food is good and my favorite to order is the Amigos platter. It pairs well with the margaritas lol. The staff are amazing and attentive, they help to make it fun to return.

Great food and cocktails. Definitely get ypur money's worth in regards to portions. Maybe off putting to some when you see the outside but give a chance. We went there twice on our visit to Pasadena and weren't disappointed either time.

I ordered dinner to go. Was ready on time and accurate! Great food--try their relleno! My favorite whenever we come to Pasadena.

All I have to say is that Amigo's has the strongest Margaritas. I recommend having just 1, and then follow it up with a beer or water. Be prepared to get driven home if you drink 2-3 margs! The food is always great too, but people go there for the Margaritas!

Had the mixed fajitas with bland rice and beans. Casual dining and super old inside and pretty plain and boring. The waitress was nice. I personally wouldn't go back.

Likely my favorite haunt in Pasadena. Incredible customers. Super good vibe, always. You never know what a night here will bring you. The food is excellent, my favorite is the carnitas, as a Burrito or Nachos. The staff is as good as it gets. The vibe is perfect in the bar/cantina. Dark, cozy, friendly. Most importantly, get the Cadillac Margarita. Super strong for a very fair price, really delicious.

This place is great! Great food for pretty cheap. $26 for a cheese enchilada with rice and beans plus a margarita that definitely had tequila in it. Great vibes and a huge menu. I'll definitely come back here!

We went to Amigo's for the first time yesterday, 9/16/22. The food was really good. I ordered a cup of Chicken Tortilla Soup and a Chicken Tosada. My husband had the carne asada Torta. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The cup of soup was really big and I ended up bringing some home. The Torta was huge. The carne asada was also tasty and tender. We will definitely return.

Mexican food is generally not my favorite cuisine but when family insists on it this is the place I like it from. Prices are a little high imo but the portions are large. Most items are very rich/heavy, as they are intended to be - if you're looking for something lighter (or if you're sick) the seafood soup is absolutely amazing.

The customer service was great and the food was even better. I got the chilaquiles(red). They were delicious, came with two eggs, made to your liking, rice and beans. I also had the mango blended margarita and it was tasty. I highly recommend this place, i think you'll love it also.

Legit. This place reminds me of Ricardo's in Tijuana. Ordered the Carne Asada made with NY steak. My boss had the Carnitas. They get down 💯

We are regular patrons of this charming corner restaraunt in Pasadena, CA with its unassuming store front. There is some great outside seating along the side of the building facing a less busy street, and it is clear from only a couple of minutes observation that staff are very attentive. The parking lot is small and almost always full, but street parking can be found close by and typically with little searching. The inside is somewhat darkly lit, but is comprised of many cozy booths. It is welcoming and comforting. Online ordering through their website is organized and incredibly simple, and when they say it will be ready, it is ready. We have eaten almost everything on the menu and just about everything has been very good. My favorite is the carnitas burritos with salsa verde and cheese on top. The carnitas are obviously slow roasted and are then flash fried on the grill to give a great crust. They really are quite good. My kids enjoy the shrimp cocktail, which is essentially civeche, and they also like the flautas, taquitos and chilaquelas. Portions are very large and food is typically hot for the hot dishes and nice and frosty for the cold dishes. Quality is typically excellent and the flavors are equally good. Price is actually reasonable considering the portion sizes. Is it truly authentic Mexican food? I can't really say, as I am not from Mexico. But I will say that it is very good food, it fits the bill for us when we want the flavors of Mexican food, and it is one of those places where you not only feel comfortable trying different items on the menu, you actually will feel like you are missing out if you don't sample everything at least once! I rarely give 5 stars, but this place earns them in my book. I am a big fan of mom and pop shops, which this appears to be, and these guys are doing it right.

Their chips and salsa are always good. Great salsa I must add. However, I had a carnitas plate with green salsa but the meat had lots of fat 😟I did not enjoy it. Waiter was attentive during our visit.

Amigo's is one of my favorite places. The food is not always amazing (though their green enchiladas are excellent), but the margaritas are the best in town. The spicy ones are actually spicy, though not so much that they ruin the flavor. The other flavors are also consistently delicious and VERY strong. Plus, all of the servers are extremely nice and the service is quick. Definitely stop by!
