We had great food and excellent service for lunch here today. Green street is known for its Dianne Salad. Every time we come here, the salad is always part of our order. Besides the salad, they have amazing food. For two of us, we got a luncheon Dianne salad and steak. The steak was delectable. It was perfectly cooked to medium just as we asked for and the flavor was amazing. I just love the grilled taste of the meat. It was also very juicy and tender. The price was very reasonable. The service here was impeccable. Our waiter wasted no time to get us drinks and brought out the delicious complimentary zucchini bread for us. When we found a bone in our salad, he was quick to took up the issue with the manage and gave us a loaf of zucchini bread to compensate us. At the end of our lunch, he got us a tropical ice tea on a to go cup for us to take it on the road, very thoughtful. Now that’s what I call excellent service!

My wife and I just visited Green Street Restaurant for the first time located in Pasadena. It has a nice location although a little difficult to find the first time you go there. There is outdoor Patio seating along with indoor seating. It appears clean, not cramped, and well-lit. We ate inside and had good service from an attentive waitress. Prices are very reasonable with many good items on the menu. I had the Sliders and my wife had the Grilled Salmon. She also had the Dianne Salad which was very good and very large. The food was excellent, there was no disappointment. It was somewhat loud when we arrived but quieted down soon after. We mentioned that it was her Birthday and the Waitress brought a Chocolate Sundae at no charge. Drinks were good and there is a full Bar with specialty selections. Parking is available nearby. Overall a very comfortable and nice place to eat. Highly recommended.

Love the Green Street Restaurant! Salad Dianne and is so yummy. Great quaint restaurant in downtown Pasadena. Around the holidays I love to purchase their dressing and zucchini bread and give them away has little token gifts. If you haven't tried this place it's worth making the effort to get there!

Great food. They have a nice outdoor patio that we like to sit out on. Friendly courteous service. Our dinner came quickly. They are known for their Dianne Salads, which is what we usually get there. Huge salad, big enough for 2 days or one really hungry person. Really recommend this place!

Far from the crowds in the old town area or lake restaurants and decent food. The Aperol spiritz wasnt good, bitter, too strong and not a good prosecco. The margarita flatbread was ok but not recommending. Mushroom pasta was good but portion quite large.

Stopped by for a light dinner and a beer. Quiet, secluded outdoor seating with heaters to make the SoCal winter more pleasant. If you’re looking for a tasty bite in a nice neighborhood, this is a recommended stop.

Cornucopia salad is the best. For a non-dairy option, omit the blue cheese and ask for their citrus dressing. Super tasty

The Cornucopia salad is so delicious and nutritious. The Diane salad is what Green Street is famous for. Also delicious!

Love their zucchini bread, and their Diane salad! That is all I am going to say about this place. Just kidding, their whole ambience is amazing. Their service is great; our server was great as well. I would like to talk more about their other dishes but the Diane salad and zucchini bread is what I always get here.

The cornucopia salad with citrus blue cheese vinaigrette was good after I took out most of the raisins and dried cranberries. The Reuben was crispy and savory. The carrot cake was a mess; it was drowned by too much whipped cream and caramel.

I celebrated my nomination yesterday in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a marvelous evening and the venue was indeed one of the reasons for this happy celebration. The crew contributed in a sweet manner, the cuisine was extremely good and my buddies were so thrilled. We shall absolutely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

First time coming here and ordering take out during this COVID here. The Thai salad was delicious and refreshing with the nice mix of veggies and awesome salad dressing.

Tasty American food. Nice interior. Attentive service! I've been coming here for decades and their food has always been consistently tasty! Megan, our server was EXCELLENT! She knew exactly what we needed before we asked! My friend and I ordered the Diane Salad, their signature restaurant salad, and she recommended to order the LARGE, so we could take home any leftovers. She also suggested to have the dressing on the side. She brought over TAKE OUT containers for our extra salad that we probably couldn't finish before our salads arrived. She suggested to put in the salad ( dry) into the plastic TO GO containers first, then put the salad dressing on the rest of the salad in the bowl and enjoy eating at our table. Brilliant suggestion! Thank you Megan! We also shared the apple goat cheese flatbread as our first course! It was tasty! The rest of the staff were VERY ATTENTIVE with smiles! We were greeted immediately by three different servers and when we left, everyone said, "Thank you! Please come again!" We left smiling!

This is a fantastic modern American eatery. Their Dianne salad is balanced perfectly with lots of minced chicken and nuts. Also their Zucchini bread is to die for! Validated parking is available for those dining in as well as a loading zone out front for picking up.

I love the Dianne Salad!! My friend introduced me to this place more than 6 years and I have been coming for awhile just for the salad! It’s filling, amazingly tasty (I’m not usually a salad person), and refreshing!! The salad comes with two pieces of zucchini bread (but it has walnuts in it). The corn chowder was disappointing (not that tasty), the chicken and papaya quesadilla was pretty good/average, the mexican street corn flatbread was so yummy though!!! We came on veteran’s day and thankfully had a reservation because it was crazy crowded!! Took forever to wave down someone to take our payment and get boxes. Haven’t seen it this crowded in years!

A good friend took me here for my birthday lunch. We wanted to sit outside but it was already filled so we sat inside. The tables weren't so crowded together that you could hear the people at the tables next to you, so that was great. I ordered the barbecue quesadillas, which is an appetizer for the table, and it was plenty. Enough for me to take home half and have it for dinner. And it was excellent. It came with sweet potatoes - not sweet potato fries - sweet potatoes, and they were also great. The service was good, the restaurant wasn't noisy so my friend and I could hear each other talk. All-in-all, it was a lovely place to eat, sit and chat for awhile.

I’ve been coming here a lot since I fell in love with their zucchini bread AND salad dressing until recently. Their zucchini bread is beloved by many patrons. I personally like it because it’s moist and not too sweet. However, the one that I’ve bought recently was dry, and not moist at all! And, the salad dressing had a very short expiration date. What was seriously a big turn off were the pieces of rice on the bottom of the zucchini bread loaf. This makes me question the cleanliness of their kitchen. I’m EXTREMELY disappointed that this place lacks both CLEANLINESS and CONSISTENCY.

This restaurant is a rip off. The Dianne salad is pure sugar. That’s why it tastes good. The steak is garbage. They barely season it to not offend anybody. The wine is subpar. I felt robbed after paying for such bad ingredients in my food. I will never eat here again. It’s all a show to get people thinking they like the food when it’s really the cheapest ingredients.

Worked in Pasadena for years and would visit often. Haven’t been here for a while BUT was glad to be back. I forgot how generous the portions are. The “lunch” portion of the Dianne salad was still to big to consume in one sitting. Taking half is it home. The zucchini bread is always a hit and got a loaf to take home too. This used to be a family favorite over 15 years ago. Bought the family back for dinner. We had their famous Dianne salad includ the kale version now. Fried were good. The rest was so so. Flat bread and pasta was ok.

I dropped by after a meeting with a client in the area, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! - The place offers ample space and a warm, inviting atmosphere. - Even when dining solo, I felt right at home, but I'm definitely bringing friends along next time I'm in the area. - I had the pleasure of trying their "spicy ranch water" cocktail, and I can't recommend it enough! - The Pasadena Steak sandwich was an absolute delight and perfect for those looking for a hearty, satisfying meal.

I've been coming her since it was on Green Street, a long time ago. All the food is great here and I've never been disappointed. My favorites are the Stephen's Sandwich & Diane Salad, French fries and sweet potato fries. Small, full bar but sufficient. One of my 3 all time favorites in Pasadena.

We went today for lunch and had their fish taco. It was good and filling. With snapper as the key ingredient, the restaurant created one of the best tacos I have ever had. This is like one of those tacos I had when I visited a taco shop in Los Cabos in Mexico. I heard their burgers are very good too. Will try that next time.

The burgers here and sandwiches are very good. I love stopping by here to buy some snacks for my work. A lot of foods that you can choose from. and the drinks as well are very flavorful. The service as well is exceptional.

Salads are phenomenal and plenty to share the large between 2-3 people, zucchini bread is a must!

Brought my girlfriend and I to this place for the first time and it didn't disappoint. The Mac and cheese fritters are amazing and the burgers hit the spot. Also our server Colin was very helpful and helped us make a decision on what to get.

Pleasant patio tucked behind the busy strip so it is a calm environment. Service is very good. Excellent cocktails. Varied menu that results in generous portions, well prepared. Definitely worth a return visit.

The Diane salad is the stuff of legends and it goes perfectly with the zucchini bread. That zucchini bread is the best ever, hands down. They also have sandwiches and burgers which are also pretty good. Strawberry lemonade is on point as well. Highly recommend this place.
