Tacos are really good. What i like most is the amount of meat they put in the tacos, bery generous. Not the cheapest tacos.you can get but worth it. The staff are nice and thr place is one of a kind. No inside seating but there are benches in thr patio. Only thing is they only have two salsas available (red and green), no guac or any other sauces.

Ghetto location. Tacos were unbelievably less than mid. They were the bare minimum, nothing more. Tortillas were uncooked and my burrito had no flavor, their “guacamole” was just sliced avocado and the salsas were disgusting too. The guy that took my order didn’t even speak proper Spanish, and he sure as hell didn’t speak English either. Never going back here. I’ve never been so disappointed with my food to the point in which I’m motivated/driven to leave a lengthy review during my meal. Go to jarocho stand instead, near Altadena Dr and Colorado st. they’re bomb af.

Stopped in to grab a few tacos for lunch. The carne asada and al pastor were tasty with plenty of protein. The salsa options have great flavor.

A no frills taco spot with a small outdoor dining area. The tacos are delicious. My favorite meats are the pollo and al pastor. All the menu items are budget friendly. I've been here about a hundred times and I've never had a bad experience. This is one of the best taco spots in Pasadena. Its authentic street food style mexican food done right.

We had the carnitas California burrito and the carne asada fries and they were exactly what we wanted. Both were delicious and huge. The salsas were also tasty. They have a few tables outside and a slight discount if you pay cash.

La Estrella is a Pasadena institution and while my memories of this place go back to when it was still a taco truck, I still think they have some of the best Al Pastor in LA. Just like any taqueria though, their red salsa is what makes all their tacos next level good.

This is my go-to taco spot! I love their Carne Asada Nachos with the melted white cheese and of course the Carne Asada Tacos with green sauce... It's sooooo good. The prices are great if you take cash it's cheaper... There is a fee to use your debit and credit cards. 😉

One of the best tacos I've had in a while. The sauce is great. Tongue and head and fish tacos are excellent. Asada fries are good but there a bit too much melted cheeses on the bottom unless you liked that.

Definitely love the authentic tacos and burritos here! Meat is always flavorful and portions are generous for a reasonable price! Friendly staff and great food. The atmosphere is clean, but could use some attention. Seating is not very comfortable. The dining area could use some type of lighting to make it a little more inviting, especially at night like maybe some outdoor dimmable globe string lights and maybe some outdoor space heaters. Other than that, always our go to spot for some delicious tacos and burritos for a quick lunch or to go for dinner.

Excellent tacos, order at window to take out or sit on terrace, good value--shrimp and fish tacos are large. Pretty fast tirnaround on orders even though fairly busy. Excellent horchata. Recommended!

This place has the best tacos and burritos in San Gabriel Valley their hot sauce is amazing. I love it. it's really good. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I usually get the 2 taco special. It comes with beans and rice, a good meal for less than 7 dollars. I highly recommend it...

I haven't been here in a very long time. I was craving some tacos and a Carne asada burrito so I drove 30 minutes to this location and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint! The food was amazing. Service was great and the atmosphere was good. So thankful that they have not changed. Same great food!

Tortillas are weird, but it's what gives it its signature flavor. Been eating at this place since I was a child, love it so much. The boys can have attitude at times, but I can understand standing for hours, making food can make a person irritable.

I had not been here in over a year. Not sure what changed but the sauce on the Al Pastor tacos is different. I also did not like the bland, unflavorful rubbery old shoe like taste of the carne asada tacos. Go to the Orange Grove location they are still making the tacos the way they should be made.

Food is good yet the portions are small and the wait is kind of long, no shade and they have a few tables out side. its better if you order ahead of time.

Feels good to come home and get great Mexican food ,they have best shrimp ceviche and unfortunately they stop selling it and we drive from the high desert to get food . Overall I’m always satisfied

A very fair amount of beef on the asada burrito. Quick and friendly service when ordering. The salsa verde is not spicy and there's also avocado in the burrito just needed a little bit more cilantro. Day 2 This round, I had the 2 taco plate. Asada y pollo and gotta say I like chicken a little better but the asada wasn't bad. Liked the beans. Think I might try the red sauce next time from what I just read here. $6 meal
