Ordered pad see iw to go at 330pm - when the restaurant was definitely the least busy. Open my to go box, saw a whole piece of burned egg in the box. Chef didn’t even bother to take time to make the dish right. There were also a few pieces of egg shells between the noodles. The only flavor I can taste is the sweet soy sauce. Probably the worst Thai food I have even had in California. Will not come back for sure.

To start off, this place is across from the hospital, so you have to understand it’s more of a place of convenience for visitors to grab food. The place have lunch special where you can order a dish and it comes with a small bowl of vegetable soup, and a small bowl of side salad. It is a good ratio, but probably a bit at the pricier end when compared to general Thai food situation. The quality isn’t the greatest as it’s mostly vegetable and not that much meat. Most people take it to go. It is a good medium for those who want take out but not nearby fast food though! They are fast in prepping food and orders. Take credit card and cash. Parking lot is shared in the plaza with free parking.

Since I didn't dine in the atmosphere was an experience for me. My order was a take out and the food was everything great.

This has been a favorite Thai place for the last 8 years. I'm glad they survived the pandemic. Their food is always delicious. especially the shrimp pumpkin curry

Love the food here and the service. They messed up my order but not only did the lady fix it but she gave me a free drink. Very sweet lady. It’s hard to find service like this anywhere you go these days. Food was on point and delicious!

I have been eating here for more than 20 years. Service is great. Food is excellent has lots of flavor. And the establishment is small and intimate.

This a family owned and run restaurant. It has been here for many years. It is small, but clean and the staff is attentive. I have dined in and ordered take-out. I have always found the food well prepared and of good quality. Being located in strip mall, it might be overlooked, but the food is freshly prepared. Parking is free, but at busy times, you may have to drive around the lot for a space.

When I worked in South Pasadena Suriya was a favorite lunch destination. I had the opportunity to revisit this past week. Food and friendly service as good as I remember! Pumpkin curry highly recommended.

This is really a 4.5 🌟 rating. This is one of the most reliably tasty places to eat in Pasadena. The menu rarely changes, so if you find a favorite Thai dish, they won't change it on you. The lunch specials are a real deal. The food is lite, fresh and well made. They won't take risks though, so the menu seems toned down for the elderly Pasadena foodies. If you're young and adventurous, this place will not thrill you, but it also won't bore you. My kids love it though, so I have to highly recommend it for families. Again, no one will ever be offended by this place, so that says something. It's authentic enough...

I have been here several times for lunch and have consistently gotten a good experience. I would recommend ordering ahead as they do cook everything individually. Otherwise it’s typically a 10-15 min wait. I would recommend the curry in particular and ask for fresh rice. My rice has been a bit stale a couple of times.

We always love their food. I was shocked at the increased prices but then (too late!) realized that Postmates marks the prices way up. We spent $8 more on our usual order. We picked it up but I didn't realize that Postmates charges more...for nothing really. I won't make that mistake again.

Decent Thai place with plenty of options. I have no complaints. It's close to my work so I come here often. Comfortable seating and good service.

A wonderful sport off the beaten path for delicious Thai food. The service was really nice and friendly. I had the curry and combo rice. Totes delicious.

These people have hands down the best stuffed Angels wings anywhere I've been. The rest of the food is decent but, I go for the wings. This makes it one of my favorite go to Thai restaurants when I'm in Pasadena.

Suriya Thai been our family favorite place for Thai food. Lots of free parking, clean and well stocked facilities. Good variety of delicious food choices and good portions at fair prices. When you get a chance to visit Pasadena, check out this place and don't forget to save space for their fried banana. Highly recommended and looking forward to returning for more good food.

Disgusting! Worst Thia food ive ever had!, ordered beef salad and a stir fry, the flavors didn't come close to anything Thai food! I eat Thai food at least once a week.

. We sat down for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Play seemed pretty slow, however I think we just beat the rush. Menu was normal price compared to all other walk-in type places. Normal menu options that we've seen before. I got the lunch special with garlic pork and it was good, the soup they serve had almost zero flavor. Didn't taste bad just didn't taste it all. My wife got the Pad See IW, it was the best we've ever had and that is a normal meal that we usually get. Flavor was perfect and they actually cook the noodles with the broccoli instead of just adding the broccoli on top steamed. Definitely would go back here but hopefully this soup can get a little more flavor. Service was good and very good tai tea.
