I have fond memories of the old/original "Rick's" burger/burritos spot on El Molino and Walnut St. Stepping into Bobby's gave me that same nostalgic feeling. The food is still good!! They've added bacon to the menu. Everyone knows that "Everything tastes better with bacon!" Our burgers were just as we ordered and the fries....salt to fry ratio was perfect. It was also good to see our local "celebs" (Johnny Long) dining when we walked in... just like back in the day! This spot is definitely a hidden gem in Pasadena. Don't sleep on Bobby's....it's amazing spot with sports playing on the TV, you can't go wrong! Can't wait to go back! Oh and Bobby...I am glad that you survived the Covid pandemic.

I was so heartbroken 💔 when Rick's Drive-in on walnut closed up. I spent many years eating there at all hours of the day and night during my high school years and my 20s. it was hands down my favorite spot for crunchy ground beef tacos... fast forward to present, I was SO EXCITED TO LEARN that 2 original employees from Rick's took over the business (NOW CALLED BOBBY'S PLACE) and have resurrected what many of us locals loved for years. yes the food still tastes amazing like before and they continue the legacy... YOU MUST GO HERE! I have driven all the way from north Hollywood just to grab some tacos only and then have headed back home. I love this spot. and you will too

This place is so bomb…. Beef and bean burrito with extra cheese and extra burrito sauce… So good!!! Also, one of the very few places that you could still get an orange bang at. Don’t bother with chunky Taco Bell or Dell taco down the street… Definitely go here and support a local small business!!!

Nice place appeared to me in my time of need. Hot afternoon, exhausted amidst a long excursion on foot. The two people working there did their jobs to earn their wages and gave me good food in the process. Who could ask for more?

Where else can you get 'BREAKFAST TACOS? They are totally bomb. You need to go to Bobby's and try them. Kind of small, so get four, only $6 out the door. Trust me, they are so good! And friendly service, reasonable prices, and easy parking (at Ralph's parking lot, 100' away).

I've tried many a delicious breakfast burrito in my day and I have to say the ones at Bobby's Place are among the best I've ever eaten. Consistently tasty with a perfect potatoe/egg/cheese/meat/sauce ratio. Always served with a smile, I definitely recommend them!

Good food, but the place could have used a little TLC. It was also hard to to find at first. Small corner area. Prices were reasonable.

My favorite burritos ever starting in 1986 when it was Rick's. The staff is THE BEST and I've watched them pay for people's meals, laugh together, and there's a longevity and loyalty that this place just calls for. Thank you, Bobby's Place! You've got a customer for life!!

We had the best time at our first visit. The food and service were great.

I moved back here recently and realized Rick's burrito was no longer on Walnut Blvd. Found out Wednesday that it moved and is now called Bobby's burgers. I went Thursday!! Found a new favorite, Jalapeño fries. Everything was as I remembered, very tasty and great portions.

Excellent place to pick up Mexican or burgers! Stopped by, enroute to watching a taping of America's got Talent. Loved the Dodgers theme w the big screen. They have the yellow chili peppers. Service w a big smile and are accommodating! Thank you!!

Typical burger joint. Great service. Good food. Love the fries and tacos. Breakfast burritos is yummy too 06/2023 It's been a few years since I've been back. Place is still the same. I still love the tacos and fries. Remember to say you want the tacos hot
