Been played by being told free parking, but end up with still getting charged! Due to a long wait when checking in, I was told the three night parking would be free and on him by a gentlemen at the front desk. I appreciated to him. But when checking out, the lady at the front desk still charged me the parking fee for three night. I told her the fact, but she said not getting any note from the gentlemen. She even told me she couldn’t help me at all on the problem at that moment. I had no choose but giving a call to Chase to complain the problem. (I redeemed three nights by Chase credits.) After Chase’s help, the lady could refund only one night parking fee because she out of sudden found the note saying only one night for free. Actually, I doubted on the real of the note. But I haven't gotten an evidence, I didn't have a chance to have a look at the “note” in person. Finally, I ended up with being charged two nights parking fee. The parking fee was not a big deal. I just felt being played! I am feeling awful and never choose Hytta anymore!

Getting from our room to the garage was almost impossible. It drove me insane trying to get on the right elevator and then having to ride it all the way up and all the way back down. The room kept losing electricity at night causing our sound machine from turning off. Plus the room smelt pretty odd after flushing the toilet. Luckily only stayed one night or would have asked for a new room. No clear fix for the elevator situation.

Chosen as a place to stay close to the Convention Center. Very happy with almost everything. Staff and service were great, especially the bar and breakfast folks. The room was fine, comfortable- though the bed wasn't for me. I know everyone is different but this was one thing I'd have an issue with. The shower and bathroom were more than good, so a trade off. Things were very quiet at night over my stay which was also nice. Easy parking but very slow elevators, if I may say so. Overall I would stay again and recommend.

Stayed here 4 nights Friday late check in and left Tuesday 12pm check out. Experience not so good. From Hyatt brand I would expect better. COVID no longer should be an excuse to cut on service. They gave me a disability room when I asked then to change to a standard room they told me ok come back this time tomorrow and we will change it. When I went back they came up with another excuse basically never changed anything. The room I stayed in had closed windows no fresh air and it was causing me severe allergy to central AC. I felt very congested and couldnt sleep. It wasn’t the best experience. Why two stars, the lobby is clean, water should be standard in every room, we shouldn’t run to the lobby to ask for water bottles. Second star is from complimentary breakfast. The cleaning service although I asked the front desk that I want cleaning daily out if 4 nights they only came 1 time. Overall will I recommend Hyatt to anyone I know? Maybe not.

Hotel clean, quiet, and comfortable. The free breakfast is good. The pool area is really neat and relaxing. However, what really stands out is the kindness of the staff. Special shout out to Mathew and Jorge. :)

Great place to stay. Location is good, a lot of the places to eat in the area. The hotel has a nice pool, that we enjoyed a lot. There is a lot of parking in the garage - strong pros. The breakfast is pretty delicious. The only thing that I would like to see - something special for the 4th of July (even a little sign or decorations, if not a special food). It always makes guests' stay more enjoyable.

Rooms were clean, just not great. Lots of little maintenance items missed or not done. 6th floor was noisy from the exhaust fans on the roof, so had to change rooms to another level. I found the staff polite and professional, but not accommodating. Great location in old Town. Easy to walk to almost everything. The $25 per night parking fee was a surprise. Lot across the street is $12.

I stayed here because it had all I needed to be at my daughters graduation ceremony at Fuller State. It was close and convenient so I walked to most of it but did not care to pay 25.00 per day to park at their hotel. Elevator to parking area did not work if taking it down from the room so you had to transfer from lobby elevator to parking below on another one. The continental breakfast was complimentary and above board in my mind. The rooms were very clean - great housekeeping and all personnel were top notch in my opinion. Very accommodating and helpful with a smile!! Wonderful stay all in all. I gave 4 stars because of the elevator issue and my mattress was beat or uneven and sunk down one side like I was inclined from feet to head being lower but middle of mattress was like a big island you crawled up on! Over exaggerating to make a point about a bad mattress but manageable- other bed was ok according to my son. I loved the layout of the room and efficient lighting and AC that detected the movement in the room and shut off the lights with control of the AC I believe but not positive about how or why other than to conserve which I’m all about myself- so no complaints on that issue noted.

One of the better Hyatt Places around the US. Great staff who were awesome when checking in and throughout. Nice bar that got busy enough to stay for a drink if you were that way inclined FREE UNDERGROUND PARKING!!! Rooms are jus standard Hyatt affair, but they do the job!

This hotel has everything, a pool, outdoor seating with games and a gas fire pit. The room are clean and very accommodating for all. Pet friendly. Water pressure in our room was intense. Breakfast buffet included eggs, sausage, fruit parfait, cereals, Oatmeal and juices. Parking is $24 a night. We had to park in overflow parking at the mall next door. We were given a parking pass to avoid the mall charge too. The area is very walkable and enjoyable.

I highly recommend this hotel. It's new, it's modern and roomy. Best of all: really nice and heartwarming customer service. Angelo made our 15 yr anniversary stay very special :) and comfortable. It's a convenient location away from the busy LA area with a beautiful view of the mountains in the Pasadena area! Breakfast: very nice variety with fresh berries! Next time we visit LA/Disneyland, we'll definitely book here again and recommend family & friends to here. Loved it here! THANKS ANGELO!!

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms very nice! Continental breakfast was delicious and it was located only blocks away from the convention. So many shops and restaurants nearby. Need a longer vacation to enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful very new hotel in excellent condition with great service. Good buffet breakfast with eggs, hash browns, meats, fruit, breads, waffles, juices and coffee. Room was perfect except minor neighbor noise from ceiling and through headboard wall — common even in the newest of California hotels. You may adjust the fan or bring earplugs if you’re sensitive. High ceilings everywhere—lovely. My car was parked across the street and just fine though the hotel parking seems møre secure.

Excellent central location for anywhere you want to go in Pasadena and just a hop from the 210. The room was huge, bright and clean, and our king bed room had pullout couch which would be great for parents with more than just a toddler! The breakfast spread was fresh and the variety caters to most dietary preferences. We stayed in several hotels on our trip as we were all over but this was by far our favorite.

Always a great stay. Fantasy location, completely walkable but shielded from traffic . Public spaces are spacious , very well maintained and well thought out. The pool area is lovely, rooms spacious & comfortable and easy access and parking. We have stayed here six times!

Stayed here for a 5 day visit. The rooms were extremely comfortable, the pool perfect for a quick dip, the gym just right. The only negative was the breakfast did not meet my expectations and I was disappointed to learn you have to pay for parking overnight. This is in a great location for walking to old town and playhouse areas of Pasadena.

I've been to good 15~20 Hyatt Place properties in the U.S. and this hotel is easily one of the top locations. The lobby is shockingly beautiful and elegant for a Place level property. I even forgot that I was at a Place until I go to my room and said oh yea, this is familiar. There are plenty of regency level Hyatt that are worse than this place. I enjoyed my 2 night weekend getaway, visiting Little Tokyo and other LA downtown areas. Would definitely be back in the future.

We had a great stay here. This was very nice for a Hyatt house, with a nice breakfast (which could allow for more variety for longer stays). Great location in old Pasadena with many shops and restaurants nearby. Parking was plentiful and we appreciated that the hotel required room keys to access the hotel. Pool was great for a Hyatt house, however is was a bit small. We could not figure out how to turn on the fire pit.

From the moment my husband and I stepped on the property, we were WOWed! And it continued throughout our stay. The employees were so friendly and aways with smiles! They represented what outstanding customer service used to look like in the past! Totally engaged with any of our needs! We had a corner room, all windows, floor to ceiling that was spectacular! It had double shades, for lighter and darker, and they were F/C. They had a "room freshener" scent throughout the lobby, and floors? that was luscious, I had to inquire! And they had it for sale! We are enjoying it in our home, now. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive and it was quality! The restaurant/bar had amazing food! And the bartenders were quite impressive, with their service and personalities! We can't say enough about this property! Haven't seen this calibre out there for a very long time! Hats off to the the 2 Bartenders: Justin and Ersin; also Faith from the Front Desk for helping us get the room fresheners! A Huge Shout Out to Joseph Co, General Manager, who no doubt knows how to hire, and develops and pays his people what they deserve! Give this gentleman a RAISE!

Stayed here in early June for a graduation since it was right across the street at the pasadena convention center. Room was nice and in a great location. The only thing that was disappointing was that the stopper in the bathroom sink would not stay up. So everytime I would wash my hands or brush my teeth the water would just sit in the sink. When asked if maintenance could take a look i was told that they were back up so i had to deal with a gross sink situationfor my entire stay. Jorge Cortez the hotel manager did reach out apologizing for my less than satisfactory experience and offered to deposit 2,000 points into my Hyatt account. Still hasn't happened... Edit: Finally received my points and a call back from the manager, I appreciate the follow up.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Pasadena for my anniversary and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted by friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. The room was spacious, and clean, and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served every morning. The variety of options and the quality of the food were top-notch and made our mornings that much better. The hotel's location was perfect, as it was in close proximity to some of the city's best attractions and restaurants. We were able to explore the city with ease and had an unforgettable time. Overall, I highly recommend Hyatt Place Pasadena for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. The staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary special and I cannot thank them enough. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

This was a beautiful and clean hotel! The location is perfect for old town Pasadena. It was easy to walk to stores and restaurants. The breakfast was great with a nice wide selection The room was incredibly clean. The sheets are a little thin but the temperature was easily adjustable to be warmer. The cleaning staff were very nice and amazing at their jobs

We redeemed the night using Chase transferred points and received outstanding service. Consider switching from Hilton to Hyatt because of the great experience. Clean and comfy room. Professional staff. Nice pool with fireside We thank the staff who give us free milk to feed our kid and waive the parking fee.

We stayed here for 2 weeks, and felt like the Hyatt Pasadena was our second home. The rooms were super spacious, clean and modern as well. Breakfast was included, even though the selections are not a lot, we definitely think it was enough for the standard. Everyone at the reception was also super nice, and very accommodating too especially Angelo. When we stayed for two weeks, we had a lot of mail deliveries and requests, and they were all really helpful. Even after we left the hotel, they contacted us and took care of our " missed deliveries" to ensure it gets mailed to our home. Looking forward to staying here again when we visit Los Angeles
