The drinks themselves are actually good but the service was horrible. The moment I stepped into the shop the older blonde cashier (don’t know if she was the owner or manager) was extremely rude. I had never gone into the shop myself so I wasn’t sure what to order. Between her rolling her eyes and sighing as loud as she could any time I asked a question, I felt extremely disrespected and disappointed in their quality of service… do better.

My whole experience was not good here from the moment I walked in… I was not greeted and I was rushed to order without me having to explore the flavors. The guy making drinks rolled his eyes when we asked if it was possible to add a flavor that we will pay the difference for ! Two girls walked in I shouldn’t have to say this but two white girls came in and they were instantly greeted by the guy when me and my sister walked in ( we are black) he looked up and looked away no smile, no welcome, he wasn’t even nice about the flavor add in, I go to Tpumps a lot in the Bay Area when I’m out there and just heard about this one in socal and I was so disappointed. I will never come back to this location. I should have returned my drinks. Honestly I would give 0 stars if I could.

So many different options of Boba tea to choose from. You can never really get bored of the flavors that's for sure. Staff is always super nice and helpful in helping you decide what kind of drink you would like. Can be busy at times but the wait is worth it.

I'll make this quick and simple because nobody got time for an autobiographical review. 🤙🏽 Visit on a Sunday for a free meter parking ✅ Otherwise it's 2 dollars for a period of time. No dine in ❌ just get your drinks and go. This place has a trial every day. It'll be on your left side by the entrance. ✅ You can mix your own. Pick your flavors and tell the cashier ✅ Follow for more short but accurate reviews! 😎🤙🏽

Many options with drinks and I love the sizes they offer!

Update: prices have increased a lot in the last two years but still delicious Large size for a relatively low price. The boba is the best and you have a wide variety of options for your drink which is delicious. The staff is friendly and while there is usually a line it goes by quickly and is worth it!

We walked into the store and the staff greeted us and gave us amazing samples of boba, drinks and service. Their boba was the best we have ever had and would give more stars if possible. Great experience, great boba, and great drinks. 11/10 recommend.

I really so badly wanted to enjoy this high rated establishment that has been around for awhile, but now that it’s 2023, and there are so many options for boba, it was so underwhelming compared to the more organic spots. They use those Torani syrups for their boba drinks. Not healthy. And knowing that you’re sipping on syrup tea..it was so hard to finish drinking my boba. I tried my best but still could not finish. Many better boba spots you can go to.

Teas and boba here are pretty good. I really like the customization options with a very large selection of flavors and milks. Service is good here but the atmosphere can definitely use some improvement it's gotten a little old and worn out over the years.

A grab and go boba shop. Their boba texture is very good - big and soft pearls. However, I am not a big fan of the drinks themselves, as the teas taste artificial and syrupy. I like how the style of this place is pretty simple (like the more traditional boba shops before bobas were a thing). The drinks came out fast and service was great. We got their top 2 popular items: Green apple passion fruit tea and the rose vanilla milk tea with lychee.

Definitely not a convenient place to pick up Boba but everyone loves it. So one of us usually drops off so that everyone else can order and then we either circle around the block or go way down the street and then come back to pick them up. There are many favorites. It’s a pretty elaborate menu for a Boba stand. It’s kind of like In-N-Out Burger where you have the basic ingredients and then they make different variations of them from there. For those who aren’t familiar with the ordering process, there’s usually two sizes, it’s either milk-based or tea-based, you need to specify if you want boba or no boba (some places even have the mini bobas, but not this place, they’re worth trying if you have access to it). Boba are the round black, chewy tapioca balls, it’s usually best consumed once you get it. Once you put it in the fridge, the tapioca starch harden’s and it’s not as chewy. No bueno. You can order online or stand in line. We found that standing in line is much faster. The unknown factor is usually the parking. That’s why we drop off someone to stand in line, when possible.

Wonderfully refreshing teas! I tried the guava, kiwi, mango green tea, slightly sweet with passion fruit boba- delicious. They also had samples of a watermelon-blueberry black tea which was also very good! Highly recommend!!

Over all a good boba and green tea. So far as I see all the flavor is just syrup. When I tried it full sweetness it was overwhelming sweet for me. I have since gotten it 50 percent or less. Staff is great and fast. You can also give your number to earn a free drink. Price is not bad compared to other boba shops.

Living in the South Bay Area, every time we're in the Pasadena area, this has become a must stop for us.

Wow. Definitely a lit place on a quiet street. Drinks are customizable with topping and sugar sweetness levels and obviously cup size. Drink descriptions are accurate and all are highly recommended.

They give you the option of sweet, normal or less sweet tea. I find yheir flavors run sweet so i always go with less sweet. Boba here is the best in Pasadena. Lines form out the door and up the street but it moves quickly.

This was my first time coming to T Pumps. I usually like my tea plain with no sugar. SInce yesterday it was super hot, I decided to get a tea with more flavor. I actually was looking for a watermelon drink. First coming in my impression of inside the place is very crowded with things, not very clean. I was greeted by the friendly employee. He quickly grabbed a cup as he greeded me. I never been there so, I asked the employee what he recommended and he must be a mind reader because, he interrupt me in the midst of what I was saying and told me all customer's favorites were listed on the wall. Maybe he's tired of the same question, but I find it really rude. He doesn't have to hurry there was no one behind me. Even if there was a line, you don't do that to anyone. He did inform me I can mix cherry with my watermelon because that's what others have done. I just wanted watermelon. As my husband paid, I noticed they carry a larger drink called the Plumpo, something like that. So, I told the employee that I wanted the larger size. That's when the employee had to stop the others making my drink because now I want a large. He should've inform me about sizing of my drink before hand since this was my first time going there. My husband had to ask for his receipt. As for the drink, it was ok if, you like syrup flavored water. That wasn't tea. If you're between the ages of 7 and 22 you might like this place. I ended up going to Pete's to get a tea.

Drinks were large, but they barely had any boba in them. We did complain and they did add some boba to our drink so I give them credit for that. Mostly just tea with different types of flavored syrups like lychee, mango, strawberry, etc.

An employee, who I presume to actually be the owner, was running around giving out samples instead of helping make drinks in the back. This normally wouldn’t be an issue, but the line was 40+ people deep and taking ~25 minutes to get through, and this was all past closing time of 9:30.
