This place opened up 2 weeks ago, located where Pieology used to be. It's right next door to Corner Bakery. This is one of those build your own bowls, salads, or wrap places, but with Mediterranean inspired meats and flavors. The location is a fairly large open space with plenty of good light. The staff was pretty friendly, and they responded well to the myriad questions that came their way. I got the 1/2 bowl/(super)greens with the chicken. They gave ample meat, and I noticed that some meats have an added cost (which they clearly spell out). They also give you 3 sauces (like hummus and yogurt flavors) and unlimited other toppings, which takes some time to analyze the first time through. My wife got the mini pita. The pita is very fresh and thick, almost like a thicker tortilla, and is unlike the typical pita you buy in the grocery stores. My wife and I thought the food was absolutely delicious. This is a great and perfect addition to the Lake Ave Shops area! I will definitely be back!

Food was good but the overall restaurant was really dirty. The service was bad completely skipped over my bowl and went to the next person my bowl had nothing on it. i had to mention that they never helped me out and then they added stuff to my bowl. they didnt have any ice for the drinks. and all the drinks i wanted were empty. there wasnt a single clean table even though place was vacant

CAVA is amazing really! Their mediterranean bowls are incredible and at very reasonable prices. They have a very good selection of greens and grains for base, then protein ranging from chicken, falafel to beef to all the amazing toppings like cucumber, tomato mix, onions, corn, cabbage and then all the dips and spreads. Ahh love it every time!

A nice pit stop for some yummy Mediterranean fast casual. The rice bowls are pretty tasty and you can’t go wrong with trying your favorite ingredients. This location feels very spacious and clean. I got the chef curated spicy lamb pita, and while delicious, it was a complete saucy disaster. Way too many juices everywhere. Wouldn’t recommend for a first date lol. It’s double the price of chipotle and I don’t think double the value, but it’s a solid chain and has been a nice splurge on occasion. Would definitely go back.

This is a very distinctive Mediterranean restaurant. There are many kinds of dishes, the dishes are very novel, and the taste is very good. You can smell some special fragrances when you walk near the gate. My friends and I have eaten here. We like it very much. , The waiter here is very beautiful

The food here is delicious! If you love healthy Mediterranean food, then you’ll for sure love this place. They have many options, especially the proteins. I also love that you can have unlimited toppings, no charge! Though the line gets long during lunch rush, I believe it’s worth the wait. I see the staff working hard to keep the line moving, and I appreciate that they still greet their customers with a smile. Definitely coming back.

Food is good, I’ve ordered Crispy Falafel (swapped regular Falafel with Spicy one 🌶️) Took a takeout Falafel wrap for dinner from CAVA for the first time, decent experience I would recommend others to visit. Not many vegetarian options. Spent about $14 approximately

As a food enthusiast, I'm always on the hunt for unique culinary experiences, and this Mediterranean restaurant exceeded my expectations. The food was an absolute symphony of flavors, each dish thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. The falafel was crispy perfection, and the lamb shawarma was a melt-in-the-mouth revelation.

I cannot express in words how wonderfully delicious CAVA is. I am absolutely hooked!! My go to bowl is half super greens and brown rice. Of course the Saffron Basmati rice is incredible, I just figure the brown is a healthier option. You can’t go wrong with any of the dips and spreads. I am into spice, so harissa and crazy feta are a must. Then I switch between eggplant and red pepper hummus, depending on my mood. My main dish is always grilled chicken and roasted veggies. Yum! Next have at it with your favorite toppings. I finish off with pita crisps and the garlic and skhug dressings. Told you I like it spicy. Be sure to download the app and scan your QR code at each visit. The rewards add up quickly, especially for a regular like me. I’m an Epicure for those who understand what that is! ENJOY. I’m sure I’ll bump into you at my next visit. 😋

Always liked CAVA and today was no different. Ordered a Greek chicken salad which is served in a good size. Chicken flavor is great as the fresh veggies. Incredible hummus and dressing. Love it.

The food is delicious when they actually have everything. Went in today during lunch and was told they didn’t have Romaine Lettuce until next season. 😂 What does that mean? Long story short, this place was once clean and wonderful to eat at but lately it’s filthy and out of toppings. Probably, taking a break from CAVA, I can’t handle the food counters mess. 🤢

This is my favorite location. Always clean and helpful. I mostly order for pick up to avoid the line. Right around the corner is a large open air area, perfect for lunch.

Loooove Cava!! It is so tasty and healthy and filling. It is definitely a go-to place. It’s also very quick and the wait is never that long. Parking is easy on the street by the stop sign. There is always a table open and it’s pretty clean! I can’t remember using the restroom but there is one. I love their crazy feta sauce and garlic sauce. Their grilled meatballs are DELICIOUS and the sweet potatoes!! Basmati yellow rice is always yummy or the brown rice! And a side of pita bread 😃 The bowls are a significant size and super filling and getting to create your own bowl is always fun! I haven’t had bad impressions/experiences of the employees. In fact, when we came here one time for my husband’s birthday, one of the employees paid for his meal just because it was his birthday! It was the sweetest thing!!! We also love their drink selections. Unique flavors and refreshing!

I used to love coming to this place a few times per week. Lately the experience has been far from stellar. Came here last night 6/29 and every single employee had the worst attitude. It just seemed like they were annoyed by customers coming in, mind you, a full 2 hours before closing time. I heard of few of them mutter to each other ‘why do they keep coming in’ & ‘start telling them we are out of all toppings’. For starters, they always seem to be out of everything, even on days when I have gone in for lunch. Last night this didn’t stop an employee from telling me they were out of certain items and then go in the back and fill their personal bowl with items they were ‘out’ of after I had already sat down a few feet away. The employees are not only rude to customers, but each other as well, making for an awkward experience for the customer. One employee making mobile order bowls kept reaching in and in between the employee making my bowl, almost as if they were playing some weird game of twister, the person serving my bowl seemed annoyed that not even an ‘excuse me’ was used. Every employee I encountered seemed miserable and they definitely conveyed that message to the customer. Honestly, if it weren’t for the food I would never return.

Delicious! Everything was flavorful and tasty. This is an American Mediterranean place. It's the same concept as chipotle (Mexican) or Lemonade (American). You choose veggies and meats to make a bowl of food. I got lamb meatballs with veggies, lettuce, brown rice, hummus, tzatziki sauce, spicy sauce and garlic sauce. I will be back!

Healthy option for Mediterranean salad or rice bowls. They also do pita wraps. Clean and simple interior. You order at the counter cafeteria style. I got the lemon chicken salad bowl. Meh. Not really for me. Think I'll try their rice bowls next time. Service was ok. There's street meter parking up and down the block.

I like eating at CAVA because the food healthy and tasty, but the best part is their staff. Today manager asked me if I preferred to wait a few minutes for a fresh batch of brown rice, since there was only a little left on the line up and I said yes. He gave me a free drink. The rice took just a few mins longer than he thought, so he didn’t charge me at all and thanked me along with the cook for being patient. I told him it was unnecessary, that I would pay, but he kindly refused to charge me and thanked me again.

You can order a bowl from the menu OR build your own. 'Service set up style' is similar to chipotle, BUT the food is Mediterranean. LOTS of choices to choose from!! Rec. the Blueberry Lavender iced tea! My favorite new place💙

First time trying out CAVA, and wow, let me just say it was the best first experience by far. There are so many options and flavors in the food with many fresh ingredients. Very busy place and very popular, but the people know how to manage and keep guests coming. I spoke with the person in charge, Andres, and I was very impressed when I found out he was the manager because he is only 18 years old !!! He is very good at his job and is very well rounded for his age. Keep up the good work.

soggy mess of falafel pita. came with 4 falafels (1 hot, 3 cold). both servers were confused on how to assemble. kept looking at the cheat sheet on what ingredients to add. servers were friendly though.

Decided to try this place with high reviews and colorful pictures with varieties in bowls. Sadly, it was a disappointment to find out it’s just an extra super salty bowl. I ordered a lemon chicken and harissa avocado. Dressings were very salty. Chickens were were salty. The few topping that were not over salted like cucumber, tomatoes, and corn were still not able to balance out the saltiness. The flavors were fine. The idea was great, but definitely do not recommend, unless you build your own bowl with sauces on the side. The chicken would still be very salty.

Love the food but they’re cheap with the portions! I paid $18 for half a bowl! They tend to always forget the pita bread too :(

I have lived in Pasadena a very long time and come to this place since it opened. I came in today after not coming the entire summer and was so overjoyed with the beautiful African-American people working and all the different nationalities enjoying the environment of the restaurant. It’s so much laughter people having a good time. The vibes are so high. One woman in particular, Brandy stood out the most to me. She was so friendly to all the guest. People literally could not wait to get to the register so they can engage with her. She was so attentive with the entire staff when things were missing, making sure people have the best hot fresh food and bread. I’m so overjoyed I came in today and I look forward to coming again to experience her and all the Cava Vibes. Thank you

The food was really good, as always. Cava is absolutely delicious, but they barely gave you any food. However, the service was terrible. Every employee clearly hates their job and hates the customers because they treat you like you're the biggest inconvenience. Asking for a pita (thats supposed to come with the bowl) was like pulling teeth. Everything you say they just give you the dirtiest look. The restaurant was super dirty. One of the bathrooms was closed and the other was so nasty, and had obviously not been cleaned all day. Also, several sodas in the machine were empty. I won't be back to this location which is super unfortunate.
