We came for the menudo. We were happy to consume some delicious “clean” menudo. Great flavor. Service was very attentive! We look forward to coming back in the future!

This place has some of the best crispy shredded beef tacos you can find ANYWHERE. Everything from the shell, the marinated meat, and fresh veggies+cheese keeps me coming back for more. It comes with beans and rice, both of which are perfectly seasoned and flavorful! The horchata is also creamy and sweet with that perfect cinnamon balance. Everything on the menu is fairly priced, a rare find in 2022. The service is also wonderful, you can tell the employees and owner love food and what they do. Some places are a 10/10 but this is honestly an 11!

This is my favourite Mexican cafe in Los Angeles. Food is great, best salsa verde I've ever had.

The place is clean, and the service is fast and friendly. Had the horchata, which was sweet and creamy. The fish taco was crispy and fresh. The menudo was excellent. I would recommend.

I'm not sure if Lupita's would be considered a hole in the wall restaurant but it definitely has that feel. I had a chicken burrito and it was very flavorful along with being very fulfilling which is starting to become rare

Love their Flautas and salsa

It's the little things here that I love. Two types of salsa for your complimentary chips. The beans are outstanding and obviously home made, not canned. The menu, while small, has something for everyone. I highly recommend their fish tacos and especially their camarones al mojo de ajo (shrimp with garlic butter) Best I've ever had.

Food was ok. Male server, maybe manager said something very rude but maybe he didn't know it was rude? Good prices. Service is lacking.

We always do pickup as it's such a small restaurant. Food is always ready, hot, and they warm the chips. Chile Verde burrito this tim. Large chunks of pork, tasty sauce!

The owner and serving staff are very friendly and helpful. We have tried several items on the menu and have always found them to be delicious and filling. I am a creature of habit and always ordered the crispy tacos and chicken enchiladas until I discovered the daily specials-so yummy!! Now I always check the board for the specials before ordering my usual go-to lunch. The food served is good quality and tasty.

You definitely need to try it their burritos are fat and big and totally worth it.

probably one of the best mexican restaurants i’ve ever eaten at. the staff was extremely friendly and food was not only made very fast, but also ended up being delicious. highly recommend trying Lupita’s!

Great old school Mexican food. I love the enchiladas, burritos "mojados" and the chile relleno plate.

Flautas beans/rice. It come with sour cream and 2 different salsas. I also ordered cheese enchiladas with red sauce. I can honestly say. It was so good. The chicken flautas meat was very flavorful. The red sauce on the enchiladas was so good. The 2 different salsas one black and Pico de Gallo was really good..very clean inside the restaurant. I will honestly say. It is so worth going.

Nice father daughter combo going on here. Love a local family run business thriving. They really are the complete package and a great 1, 2 punch! Our group went with wet burritos all around. The burritos were so wet I thought they came straight out of the pacific. Sooo good! Will 100% be back.

This is a very promising restaurant. I think I might have been served by the owner who was incredibly gracious and helpful choosing from all the delicious things they had on offer here. First I wanted to say how the chips and the salsa negra were excellent. I know it seems a trivial thing to mention but it was really good to start that way, and and seemed like a good sign for the quality in the rest of the food. When I saw the menu, I was impressed the way they mixed seafood in with the other meats. That was torn between the shrimp chile relleno, which is a perfect combination of my two recent cravings, and the brisas del Mar which was shrimp, chicken and beef mixed in a red sauce. I decided to go with that because it seemed lighter than the relleno, and at this point I polished off too many chips and salsa negra, and I didn't feel ready to abandon myself totally to gluttony, believe it or not. I will be coming back for the relleno and I regret that I didn't make a photograph of the menu because other things on the menu looked as delicious. However, there is bad news: the brisas del Mar, it was bland, like I have finished bouillabaisse they could have stood more seasoning and onions. I'm giving it a tentative three stars, Because I want to give the place a second chance even though the entree was disappointing.

LOVE their hard tacos (beef is FULL of flavor!), chile colorado, roasted salsa, chile relleno... their beans are delish! If you dine in, you end up feeling like family. It's my comfort place!

I remember eating tacos here over 10 years ago. My friend who owns a tire shop bragged about the food and brought me. The tacos are huge and full of meat. Every meat from asada to carnitas is tender and full of flavor. I'm watch college football having al pastor tacos and a beer enjoying the food. They have very good menudo. The service is friendly and attentive.

The food Waz good but it Waz a little higher than what someone reported to Google. It Waz not no 10to 15.00 it Waz more but I understand cuz of inflated prices. But what I don't understand why r the portions, the same, if prices r up why aren't we getting more for our monies. The platez & portions should be more also.we r giving them more money before , so basically we get less food,but pay a higher price. Shame, shame.
